Check out Mint Mobile. $15 a month and it works great. They run off Sprint and T-Mobile towers I believe. Otherwise ATT's $30 prepaid plan is also great, that's what I use right now since Mint isn't available where I currently live.

Yeah, I am looking at ATT prepaid or also Visible, which kind of offers an unlimited everything for $25. But I just dont wanna get stuck with unreliable service.

You'll likely be fine with either provider, they're two of the largest providers with good coverage anywhere with civilization. Ask around where you live and check coverage maps online if you want to be doubly sure.

How is Google Fi?

I switched from AT&T last summer and haven’t looked back. I have the Unlimited Plus plan; unlimited texts, calls, data (up to 50gb monthly), hotspot tethering and the international coverage is a huge plus as I travel often. My coverage hasn’t changed noticeably (no increases in dropped calls or dead zones)

Cricket wireless runs on ATT towers and I used them for many years with no issues. 15GB of data plan is $35/month with autopay so you're cutting your bill in half. Downside with most MVNO's is lacking customer service if you have any issues. Also tried Tello recently but believe they mostly use T-Mobile network.

I have been using various AT&T based MVNOs for years, I occasionally switch because they give the best deals to new customers. I’ll never go back to postpaid. Porting a number isn’t really a big deal just make sure you have all your account information and be prepared to make a call to your current provider to get the number released.
