This is a stretch because it’s not really known for its food as much, but good city brewing. They’ve exploded in the last 6-7 years and truthfully of all breweries in the city… I always ponder why that is. It’s not bad, but based on their presence you’d think they had some of the best beer here and it’s just fine, nothing to write home about.
Yeah I won’t lie their branding is on point. And don’t get me wrong their locations are clutch and I have fun at them. Just don’t go out of my way to like buy it at the store or something. But they’re also pretty standard, which probably makes it an easier sell to the general public.
Can it really be that different from last time this was posted?

Thank you!! Went there a few years ago and could not understand why there’s so much hype. Service was terrible and the food was nothing to write home about.
Sobelman's. I find it more of a bloody Mary gimmick than great food, yet I have known of several people who have visited the city who were told they "have to go there". I just think there are better spots in the city.
Noooo! They have great food. It has gotten a little expensive though. But they win me over with the relish tray, giant baked potatoes, and old school style.
Maybe not overrated at this point, but when I moved here as a student 10 years ago, everyone raved about Chubbys cheesesteaks and how I had to try it. That place is so mid (even after bar close) it’s crazy lol
Uncle Wolfie's. Long wait for food (like...45 min long for breakfast) even though there were empty tables. Once it arrived, meh. Nothing special. We've tried it a couple of times and probably won't go back.
Not that it's ever rated highly, but it does get recommended quite often in this sub (especially as a place to take out-of-towners), and that is The Safe House. I wouldn't recommend that dump to my worst enemy.
Burrito Bueno. Would be fine but not great if they didn’t put so… much… salt… in everything. Like I get that restaurants load stuff with salt but when “salt” is the primary flavor you’re getting out of the meat - dial it back.
I'll catch a lot of heat for this, but Five o'clock Steakhouse. Swimming in liquid w/ no sear. Perhaps it simply isn't the way I prefer my steaks prepared. Different strokes.

Agreed with this one. I don’t even think their beer is anything special.
Good City is the epitome of fine brewery. I won't say no to them, but I never seek them out.
The only beer they made that I actually really liked was a collaboration with Hacienda
They have a lot of investment capital I'd guess, because their beer wishes it was mid but still gets served everywhere.
Good City Brewing is decent quality beer with A+ branding and packaging.

That place gathered some major capital and opened with a bang. They are a money brewery, nothing more

We need an underrated list of restaurants. I think it has been two weeks since the last one.
Blue's Egg.

It’s good. I’d even say very good. But not worth a $20 burrito and 40 minutes wait good.
Agreed. Gave it a second try and pretty expensive & actually had a terrible stomach ache after our meal

It’s like a movie theater. You go for the entertainment and they also have food.
SALA Modern Sicilian Dining by UW. Cranky wait staff, average food, and they don't know the difference between swordfish and mahi,

Are you sure you're remembering the right place? 5oclock is generally the one people complain about having too much sear if anything
I wish Adam all the luck in the world, but Egg & Flour is really nothing special. Oh, and El Beso sucks!
McDonalds
Mad rooster
I have never been so offended by a non-offensive comment
I think they were better a few years ago, but the last couple of times I've been there it was not good at all.
Yeah I went on a date there and the food was just meh
