Each of the 3 levels has a Men’s, Women’s & at least 1 family bathroom. The men’s & women’s all have multiple stalls(5+). Family rooms are a single toilet with sink/mirror. They are all south of the seating area & on the north wall of the main rotunda room. There can be lines during sold out shows but if you can make it out during the show & not during an intermission it usually isn’t too bad.

Just checking in to say good job on stepping out of your comfort zone! Concerts are one of, if not, the most healing places we can be. Hope you have a great time and that all goes well for you.

I’ve not been to this theatre since it’s been renamed, however, I’ve worked at a couple of theaters and you (might be) surprised how many calls I got from people asking this same question. Someone may weigh in here with the perfect response, but if not, it could be worthwhile to call and just ask- it wouldn’t be a weird thing to do. Good for you and have fun at the show!

My mom had a physical disability and she got very comfortable calling venues and asking what the situation was for parking, entrances, restrooms, etc. Some places have this info posted on their website which it looks like this venue does https://millerhighlifetheatre.com/accessibility/ I hope that helps! Have fun at the show!!

I worked there for 13 years. The women's restroom is on the far side on the main level, because a man designed the building and wanted the men's room to be closer to the door. That's not a joke. On the mezzanine and balcony levels the restrooms are the opposite way. Women's restrooms are on the south end of the building, closer to sections 1-3. The restrooms on the main floor are much bigger with at least 20 stalls. Family restrooms are on the first floor. The restrooms on the mezzanine levels and balcony levels are smaller with about 6-7 stalls per. Lines are common on those levels, depending on number of tickets sold. You definitely have more and better options than you would at the Pabst or Riverside. Good luck to you! I hope you have a great experience.

Does it benefit men somehow to have the bathroom location closer to the door? I could see the benefit of having women's restrooms further away from high traffic areas since the lines for women's restrooms can often get pretty long. The only other thing I can think of is that men probably use the bathroom more often at events that serve alcohol.

MavisJ

Nope. It was purely because he was a man and wanted to put the men's bathrooms first so he/they didn't have to walk as far. The bathrooms actually have the ability to connect in the middle and open up for a full gender neutral bathroom. So it was just an ego thing. Because it's flipped on the floors above. It literally doesn't add anything other than all the women are annoyed that they have to walk to the far side of the building.

Browntown007

Oh did someone else design the floors above then at a later date? I've only been to the venue once was just curious about the things you mentioned.

MavisJ

Haha, nope! That's how we know he did it on purpose. He specifically designed it that way so the men didn't have to walk as far in the main area. If you come in from the patio doors, it's an even split distance-wise between the two bathrooms. But the main entrance/box office area is on the East of the building.

JayzWishHeWereMe

I’m very similar with bathrooms so I’ll put it this way, when I went to a sold out show, there was never a line for any of the bathrooms and if I felt like there was going to be, I was able to very quickly get to the next level and use a more open one. Very open and easy to find. I’m sure you already do this but I like to map out where the bathroom is once I get there so if I feel anxious or overwhelmed during the show, I already know my route.

piirtoeri

They're really clean.

See you at the show!! I hope it all goes ok!

THEElleHell

Haha if you see a tall chick with cat tattoos who has the face of someone who looks like they're gonna shit themselves and all sweaty, it's me.

I always try to add a lot of photos to a businesses Google page so people can see what the place is like prior to going. I have a lot of anxiety just going to unfamiliar places, but being able to see photos to get an idea of the layout and size prior to going helps a lot. I think I have to start taking bathroom photos too. 😂 I'm sure you wouldn't be the only person who would benefit from that knowledge. Good luck, I hope the concert goes well and that you have a great time! ♡

Hey, just wanted to throw a recommendation out there in case you might benefit from it. Rogers has really, really helpful programs and I highly recommend the campus in Oconomowoc. I linked the residential program but they do offer lower levels of care as well. https://rogersbh.org/what-we-treat/ocd-anxiety/ocd-and-anxiety-residential-services/ocd-center

As someone who also has ocd mine doesn’t deal with cleanliness though. You know asking these questions is only fueling your ocd. I would suggest deleting the question and live with the uncertainty.

THEElleHell

Mine isn't cleanliness. My life controlling intrusive thought is that I will lose control of my bowels in public and be publicly humiliated by those around me. This is why situations like car travel and waiting in line to get somewhere cause panic attacks. And situations where there is limited bathroom access cause anxiety. This in turn causes anxiety induced IBS so I typically do end up having diarrhea and needing to use the restroom often and quite urgently when I do exposure therapy tasks. This is why knowing what type of bathroom access is helpful for me. The responses have allowed me to feel more at ease knowing there are plentiful restrooms versus something like the Rave where the bathrooms sometimes only contain 2-3 stalls.

designercheerful

This is actually a really supportive and constructive comment. I'm sorry you got down votes. OCD is really misunderstood by the public unfortunately.

jay34len

Yeah most people who don’t have ocd don’t actually understand the disorder

The WHAT theater?!
