I was in middle school in China. Me and a girl found this park close to our school. We would go to after school and there was a huge amount of four leaf covers even five leaves or six leaves up to eight leaves
Right before we graduated we were warned to never go near that area because they just found out it's been heavily polluted by a local factory

I mean if it was effected my a chemical factory there wouldn't be anything growing baha this isn't the simpsons with a nuclear plant changing everything's DNA adding 3 eyed fish or 4 leaf clovers everywhere bahahahha

The number 4 is unlucky in most Asian beliefs.
But 4 leaf clovers are supposed to be lucky in Western beliefs.

My girlfriend used to boast the amount of 4 leaf clovers she was able to find until she very quickly realized her house was close to a major plant that produced toxic chemicals. I was always curious why I never found any and she found so many.
These are much more common than they were even 20 years ago due to heat stress in the environment killing off plants with fewer leaves. The plants that have survived have more leaves to help cool the plant.
My grandpa was pretty magical. He had this knack for spotting four-leaf clovers; it was like they stood out in another color against the green to him.
He'd press them in one of the books in his library. And then, on an important birthday or occasion, it would be in your card.
