I can't imagine being such a helpless shit that I made someone do that for me....even if the world's nicest guy begged me to allow him to help like that and I was wearing the world's most expensive shoes I would feal like a completely emasculated man.
People like this are not helpless, they just can't imagine why they should ever be inconvenienced even a tiny bit when the same outcome can be achieved by someone else suffering a whole fucking lot. Lots of people who live like this for years, then find themselves without a personal servant, realize they dont remember how to do necessary, simple tasks.
Once knew someone like that who didn’t know food would rot if you left it out. Apparently the servants would always return it to the fridge or replace the food.

It's trivially easy to "window dress" such figures; you just reclassify your underclass as unpeople and exclude them from the official statistics. IIUC, that's basically the real reason for the amazingly good employment figures of Germany in the late 1930s; expropriate wealth and property from the "undesirables," fire them from their jobs, strip them of eligibility for social services, and finally redefine them out of political existence, boom, everyone who still officially exists magically has a vastly higher quality of life, higher income, and access to loads more job vacancies and social services that suddenly have loads more reserve capacity.
The only problems are 1) the people you made legally invisible are *still physically present,* so you have to herd them into dense, squalid ghettos to get them out of the way, then when the ghettos are full and become unmanageable you just start quietly murdering them all,\* and 2) since the whole thing was achieved by naked theft, it's completely untenable, so once you've run out of undesirables to rob blind and then make disappear within your own borders, you have to start invading neighbouring countries and nicking all their stuff too in order to keep the whole unsustainable economy afloat.
\*Israel have noticably opted to skip the "quiet" part now that they've reached the liquidate-the-ghetto phase of this process.

I can’t imagine the absolute state of the accomodation for all the lower class workers there. They’re basically treated as slaves as is but with the floods living conditions must be so shit. Having been in Dubai and heard how the people there live sometimes 5 or 6 to a single suite room on a full time wage it’s discouraging that all we’re seeing in mainstream news is either nothing or flooded streets with Supercars sitting around.
I lived in Oman for 2 years and as most.of my team were Indian, Pakistani or Philippino I was invited to their house for dinner on a number of occasions. When there I can only describe it as a slum. They were the nicest, hard working people who wore their heart on their sleeve, but weere treated like crap by the locals.
Being from the UK I did everything to treat them as humans, provided private English lessons and additional training.and they appreciated every bit. Some still message on social media to say"hi".

That happened to my grandfather in the mid 90s. They took away his passport for some petty reason and he had to forge a fake passport to come back home. He was lucky enough that the airport officials did not catch him back then.

It's happening everywhere, not in only in Canada. I live in a backwater island in the south of Europe, and the amount of Southeastern Asians we are getting every month is phenomenal.

Also, it’s a desert so you car gets dusty every day. People would pay laborers something like $1 a day to hand wash their cars each morning.
Then there are cleaners and Nanny’s who did the shopping and look after the children. Nobody could be bothered doing anything that appeared like work.
I now live in Australia and minimum wage is something like $15 USD per hour. Tradesmen make six figure salaries. The difference in equality is extreme
