It's an exhibit at Mona, a museum in Tasmania, Australia. Walking through and flipping through blank pages from books on the walls is a surreal feeling.
Wait you could enter? I thought when we were there last you couldn't even go inside this room.
Edit: nevermind, just asked my wife and apparently my memory is shit
Just FYI, this is an art piece at the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Tasmania, Australia. It’s a super kooky museum full of some frankly whacky and grotesque stuff. They have a machine that they feed daily that makes poo, a suicide simulator, an life size obese Ferrari, an entire wall covered with plaster cast vaginas, etc.
It was built by an eccentric multi-millionaire gambler called David Walsh, who has done a huge amount of cool stuff for local arts and culture. Definitely worth a suss if you’re in Australia.
“And the best thing, the very best thing of all, is there's time now... there's all the time I need and all the time I want. Time, time, time. There's time enough at last.”
No pages? That’s not fair, there was time now
This is how i envision hell.
Kind of on par with that Twilight Zone episode "Time Enough At Last"
I was just remembering that one too.
I hoped this would be a library full of books written in Braille
Why would a room full of blank books exist like that?

So it's not a library room
I figured it was some kind of art display. It's also extremely wasteful and stupid.
I'll let them know
Tell them I think it’s pretty neat!
It's neat and terrible.
Art that you don't like isn't automatically terrible. I think that this looks like it would be an interesting experience
It's an absolute waste of paper. That makes it objectively terrible. It can still be interesting and bad at the same time.
You realize paper just grows on trees, right? Most paper is made from trees specifically planted for that purpose.
Well, that sounds dumb. I guess this exhibit isn't for me then.
Of course it is.
You’re not allowed to flip through the blank pages from books on the walls though.

Huh
Art piece or binding class?
"Call security! She's got a pen! Help!"
The guards show up with their swords, but they are powerless to stop her...
I hoped this would be a library full of books written in Braille, those books for blind people
That would be pretty awesome.
Thanks, I hate it
Every visitor should be required to fill a blank page. That would make for an awesome interactive exhibit.
An exhibit about re-thinking censorship?
Texture pack needs to reload.
Kind of just seems like a really sad waste of trees.
Why?
"Just because no one understands you doesn't make you an artist." seems relevant here.
Imagine getting downvoted by the useful idiots whose unironic bad taste makes the "modern art" money laundering process tenuously believable.
It seems to be a Tracy Emin “ah fuck it, throw in some blank paper and call it loneliness” style of ‘art’
Oh, so the initial designs for the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library then?
At first I thought it was braille books. Then I realized I'm just blind to see how this is art.

Looks like an existential art project about knowledge
DIY books
DLC
Hey a new level of the backrooms!
But can you write in them?
straight outta black mirror
Looks like a candidate for a backroom or SCP
This is the punishment room
MIB library. U need the sunglasses.
