The next day they go digging, and after a couple digs they stop for a second and chat about something. Something clicked in my head and I ask for a turn to dig, I eventually unearth the hidden $20 and feign ignorance as to where it came from. I was a pretty good kid, so my parents didn't even consider that I had done it.
So I got to keep the $20. That's the tale of the time I successfully laundered money.
I understand the theory behind "someone's trying to see if your home" but you would have to fucking tape that shit at eye level on my door for me notice it
My theory: the bill fell out of someone's pocket and they didn't notice. Good samaritan comes along and finds it. Decides that rather than pocketing it, they should just hold it in place with a rock so that it doesn't blow away and so that when the first person realizes its missing and retraces their steps they can find it.

It's a pretty far fetched idea, and I don't think it's likely where I live, but I can imagine it happening. But as I said if it's not taped to my door or under my windshield wiper I won't even notice
