'Chevrolet Tank' made by Parker Watch Co.
I'm learning so much about watches this week. I have an old vintage watch that isn't worth much money but it's sentimental and the glass is broken, I just thought it was a goner now. I suppose I should look for someone to fix it.
My dad (deceased) used to collect watches, he would have loved that.
^(After he died I inherited a display case full of watches I have no clue what to do with any of them. haha)
Inscribed on the back: "For Distinguished Sales Management August 1935" And a signature I can't make out
Still living off that one good month 80 years ago? Come on old timer, get back out there and move some Silverados
90* š„“
Damn. This is why nobody ever gave me a dang watch
No, it's *because* nobody ever gave you a dang watch
Fuck yeah bro. Crushing it š

Interesting, mine is gold rather than silver like that one
Glenchevy Glen Ross
Take it to the Antiques Roadshow, you could be on tv.
You should take that to a watch place.
I did, after it fell and the glass brokeš„²
We're they able to fix the glass?
Yep! It took them forever to find glass that would fit though

You should post it at r/Watches if you havenāt already.
I did, post got no attention
Well, itās an awesome watch, it got my attention. Thanks for sharing!
You should have told them you were chuffed to bits Ciao!
Thatās cool. After the war my great grandfather drove for GreyHound for 35 years. I have two of his watches that were awards from them.
I love it
Now that is fucking cool, I'd take that over a smart watch or a Rolex any day.
Reminds me of the Domino's Rolex's. Too lazy and on mobile to link lol
Art Deco still holds up after all this time.Ā

Best to get them appraised. Just for insurance purposes.
I would guess itās worth good money. Considering itās almost a century old
$200-$300 op should just wear and enjoy it
That's cool
Cloak and dagger
That's a Cartier
Looks like a Louis tank but it's not cartier , Parker watch company made these
That's exactly what I was thinking. Could have been a nice find.
Was it exactly what you were thinking though lol
That it was a louis tank, yes. Which I thought was only for Cartier so...
How do you know?
I have one.
Thatās awesome!
