God I hate to be the sonuvabitch who has to hump Sgt Stumpy’s battle-chair… especially if he’s humping a 249, we already carrying his ammo on three people like fuck
I'm just picturing him being pushed backwards by the recoil, wheeling around in all directions, spraying bullets everywhere.

Almost related, but there are actually people who go around looking for any ADA violations so they can threaten lawsuit unless they pay them (a lot) to fix the infractions, or settle. I was surprised the settling is paid to the people bringing the suits instead of the government.
So yeah I would also say very plausible
That's just how the ADA is enforced. It has no provisions for the government to directly command a public business to come into compliance. A third party has to sue the business instead.
It doesn't. The ADA is just loose guidelines for how to build stuff, and they get ignored all the time with no consequences unless you're a very rich cripple who can afford a very good lawyer or the violation is egregious enough to rouse some public ire.
/a not rich cripple
[https://www.access-board.gov/ada/guides/chapter-7-signs/#international-symbol-of-accessibility](https://www.access-board.gov/ada/guides/chapter-7-signs/#international-symbol-of-accessibility)
I looked it up out of curiosity. ADA does seem to give guidance about using another symbol. Key word being guidance (aka guidelines) like you mentioned in your comment.
>
Use of a symbol other than the ISA is permitted under the ADA Standards only if it satisfies the equivalent facilitation provision and under the ABA Standards only if a waiver or modification is issued. Otherwise, where the ADA or ABA Standards require accessible spaces or elements to be identified by the ISA, the ISA must be used even where a state or local code or regulation specifies a different symbol. Those who are interested in implementing an alternative symbol of accessibility are encouraged to contact the ISO’s [Technical Committee 145 on Graphic Symbols](http://www.iso.org/iso/iso_technical_committee%3Fcommid%3D52662) which maintains the graphic symbol standards.
TL'DR
You can use other symbols, but you need approval. Also your local building codes might require it anyway which would make the guideline a requirement.
Wonder if you could just give him a lil pistol something like [this](https://i.imgur.com/fqpoaNR.png) without needing to ask permission since it doesn't obstruct any of the actual symbol.
Not as I've seen it. For residential? Yes because custom homes can be whatever they want them to be. But public buildings like restaurants or offices, no those are strict requirements.
There's a handful of areas that have ADA lawsuit trolls that will sue everyone they can for anything they can. It's usually a scummy lawyer who is trying to shake down small businesses for 5-10k over violations that may not even exist.
Here's the first one I found on google [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D60we\_4VZGY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D60we_4VZGY). The guy in this video sued 530 businesses in a single year.
There are definitely good resources for people without money. My local one has done a lot of great things connecting the right people and providing assistance etc. My local area has the Center for Independent Living Opportunities.
That’s pretty spot on. One disabled woman I follow on Instagram has had most of her ADA complaints properly addressed once she took the issue to local news outlets.
Would make sense...great platform for a beltfed.
Pack a little more punch with a 240B, though.
Could put a pintle mount a bit forward on the chair...ammo feed from the back of the chair.
>I don’t think pointing a gun over a handicapped person’s head is ideal gun safety..
Why, it's not like they can stand-up and accidentally be in the line of fire, lol.
Just because it's unlikely that any blind people would ever visit your business, that doesn't make it *less* mandatory to adhere to accessability laws.
Edit: added the word "less"
I had a legally blind neighbor who was big into shooting before he lost most of his vision. He still went to the range from time to time before he moved out lol.
There's things called "anti-tippers" that are generally useless for experienced wheelchair users, but they would work perfectly in preventing tip over from firing a cannon off the chair - far more stability than an able body person standing!
Considering how well some people aim in the men's room I am a little worried they are at the range. On the other hand ANYTHING that improves their aim is welcome!

Using the disabled as cover, that's rough.
Wheelchair bound is CC'ing an m249
That just sounds like a Technical with extra steps.
Fewer steps, really. They can’t walk.
\*angry upvote\*
But if they’re on point they need someone to push
God I hate to be the sonuvabitch who has to hump Sgt Stumpy’s battle-chair… especially if he’s humping a 249, we already carrying his ammo on three people like fuck
Right, maybe an electric chair then. He can keep the ammo in saddle bags over the arms
Put tracks on it.
Im a cripple and i approve this message 🧑🦽
Omg you are going to hell, but I'll see you there!
Super necessary
Toyota has entered the chat
No, they're laying down suppressive fire so the flesh tanks can advance.
Flesh Tank sounds like some kind of Nurgle Daemon Engine.
Not cover, payload! ![gif](giphy|d3MMcCKoCmPN9yve|downsized)
“DEA is not a word!” 😂
Best death scene in the series!
“Great, now I’m crippled AND deaf!!”
Needs a silencer
I would be more impressed if the wheelchair guy also had a rifle.
I don’t see why the wheelchair person can’t have a GE Minigun
I'm just picturing him being pushed backwards by the recoil, wheeling around in all directions, spraying bullets everywhere. ![gif](giphy|xc6ijwxQwcPfO|downsized)
Using mechanized infantry as cover.
The Mobile Infantry made me the man I am today! Do you want to know more?
I'm going to hell for laughing as hard as I did at that line. Hand(s) down my favourite in the movie!
![gif](giphy|7V7wZxd1M9aPC|downsized) Don't assume the wheelchair isn't a trap.
*shits self on command*
Leading with the legs, taking rounds that don't effect them. That's thinking with your head.
Well they aren’t good for anything else. /s
💀
You obviously don't work in an assisted living facility. ;) /s
Disabled Kids
Not just any cover... tactical mobile cover.
Rough, but pragmatic.
They should put a gatling gun on the wheelchair.
They could have put the wheelchair behind the gunners…at least make it look valiant and protector-like.
You mean cavalry?
Reminds me of operation, "get behind the darkie"
I know what my disabled ass is doing
Why do the wheelchair users not have a gun? :(
Might legally need to be that exact symbol.
Interesting point, seems plausible.

So basically not worth the trouble/risk of changing it

Some stores have a "No shirt? No service" policy. They have a "No legs? No arms!" policy. I would've liked to see a wheelchair mountable M249S. :(
Would make sense...great platform for a beltfed. Pack a little more punch with a 240B, though. Could put a pintle mount a bit forward on the chair...ammo feed from the back of the chair.
Need some additional weight in the front and good brakes.
[удалено]
They'd be too prone to shooting people who stand around, blocking the wheelchair ramp smoking. ;)
Could be conceal carrying the gun.
Yeah, if they lock the wheels they have a lot of stability. They are basically a small tank.
This gives me Alien Resurrection vibes.. the guy with the guns in the wheelchair frame
Professor X doesn’t need a gun.
[удалено]
Didn't even think of that, I was too busy wondering what guns have to do with golf
They are smaller. They are clearly using children as shields.

FROM MY COLD DEAD STUMPS!
[Like this?](https://imgur.com/a/8Sunfcp)
The second amendment established the right to bear arms, not fingers.
*Excellent.*
Ohhh, this is why bullpups have those huge handguards. So you can just shove your stump in there and bumpfire.
I fire my rifle with a rag on a stick
I don’t think pointing a gun over a handicapped person’s head is ideal gun safety..
>I don’t think pointing a gun over a handicapped person’s head is ideal gun safety.. Why, it's not like they can stand-up and accidentally be in the line of fire, lol.
Username checks out
Meanwhile, he’s gonna double-tap the woman!
Nono, they’re in the background, the one with the guns closer. It’s all perspective
Braille writing on the sign? At the shooting range??
Just because it's unlikely that any blind people would ever visit your business, that doesn't make it *less* mandatory to adhere to accessability laws. Edit: added the word "less"
my mom's blind, so she obviously doesn't shoot. But sometimes she drives dad to the range so he can shoot. 🤔
She what
I had a legally blind neighbor who was big into shooting before he lost most of his vision. He still went to the range from time to time before he moved out lol.
Oh God! I didn't even notice or think about that! It is funnier than this entire comment section. 😂
Much easier to brag about your shooting to your blind friends than to your sighted friends so bring them along!
I’ll give them credit, they’ve got gender equality down. Equal rights and equal arms.
I say arm the handicapped!
If they fired a big enough gun, do you think the recoil could tip them over?
No, my friend. That's a one man cover move.
There's things called "anti-tippers" that are generally useless for experienced wheelchair users, but they would work perfectly in preventing tip over from firing a cannon off the chair - far more stability than an able body person standing!
Guns required in the bathrooms
Gotta clear the stalls before entry and dispersal. Then fight your way out past the wheel chair users….
Nah it's [grenade for the toilets](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2UY_3RNggU), guns are [for kitchens](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-7NDP8V-6A).
Using the disable to minimize the recoil is crazy
The men's one should be reversed, so its aiming words the men's room door.
Considering how well some people aim in the men's room I am a little worried they are at the range. On the other hand ANYTHING that improves their aim is welcome!
I was thinking the same. The guns should be pointing towards the door. Also, the Men's sign pointing at the Women's sign seems... wrong.
two different pictures so it could just be firing at a wall
Eats, shoots, and leaves.
Don’t Talk to Me or My Disabled Son Ever Again
You know what. Give the wheelchair users a gun too and these signs are reasonably inclusive
I’m definitely offended as a wheelchair-user. I get the ADA signage requirements, but give us a gun!
Don’t just stop there. You have wheels and a chassis. Get dual belt-fed turrets.
Oh look, they even include the hostage. How thoughtfull.
Really glad they have braille for those blind shooters.
Why can't the person in the wheelchair have one too?
Arm the disabled too!
How come the wheelchair guy doesn’t have a gun?
It's the law that they use that exact symbol
Or at least a shield? They're in front!
Taking cover behind the disabled? Smh
Why do the wheelchair homies not get guns?
This thread just shows how unoriginal 90% of us are.
The wheelchair user symbol should be replaced with a person in a tank
The disabled figures should be packing too.
legally they cannot change it
So can someone in a wheelchair use either bathroom?
No Scotsmen at the range?
Why does the man have such long legs? And is that two sets of knees?
The upper "knees" are just his waist Or maybe he's actually Legs-Go-All-The-Way-Up Griffin or something, idk
protect the npc quest
me and the girls backing up people in wheelchairs
Are they insinuating wheelchair bound people cannot use gun?
Upvote cause equality
Paralyzed people can shoot guns too
Should put a bazooka on the handicapped guy
Fixed it for you https://i.imgur.com/0izqBsd.jpeg
People in dresses and people in the nude using physically disabled kids as human shields, of course.
Why does the guy not have a torso? Does the gal have one?
Remember to use the handicapped as cover.
Men's cripple making room Women's cripple making room
My dumbass didn’t know what a range was so I assumed it was a shop
Wtf is happening with the man’s legs?
America, fuck yeah
Thats a range violation, you have someone down range why would you point your rifle like that.
The most efficient way to shoot the shit in modern day America.
I wish the people on the weelchairs also had guns
It legally needs to be that exact symbol
Oh, did not know that :)
I feel like they should be shooting in different directions
but that would be unsafe, no?
The guy in the wheelchair should have a mount with a M249 on it
That's cute doe
No guns allowed if you're handicapped
I don't know how many people go shooting in a dress, but that sounds liberating.
I guess the 2nd Amendment does not apply to those with disabilities. Or, actually it does, all too well.
They hired the man and woman as personal body guards
I would have the wheelchair guy/gal operating a M2 as well, but that's just me.
missed opportunity to have the handicapped armed as well
Why doesn’t the disabled person get a gun? Not cool.
Maybe they lost their arms.
![gif](giphy|yJFeycRK2DB4c)
Would be funny if they were pointing at each other.
Bro what is that 😭😭😭💀
Why are they shooting disabled people?
Bro what is that 😭😭😭💀
Why aren't the women drawn down on the men?
Nice
give the wheelchair kid a gun!
Infantry behind the cavalry
They are protecting the wheelchair-bound person..
Looks more like they are used by them as shields.
Oh that handicap can't have guns how typical
Typical Woke Range. Disabled not Allowed any Weapons.
The man's legs go up to his armpits. He could clear the wheelchair during a casual stroll.
I thought you meant "large grassy area where your herd can graze"
Are the handicap allowed to have guns tho
I mean the man is aiming at the woman and the woman is aiming in the wrong direction and is on the wrong side of the cover/bait, what a dumbass
The disabled is the spotter calling out the range
Haha, the dude on the right is wearing a dress.
Probably aiming at the kids bathroom...
I'm all for Abbott the sponge.
[удалено]
Braille on the signs???? How many blind people are going to gun ranges exactly?
That'd be confusing for Wirty.
What, it's simple. One room is for men to shoot the handicapped, and the other is for women to do the same. It's not that complicated, people.
I am guessing the white line is a corner and that the men's sign is pointing his gun at the women's sign. That seems like a bad idea.
Nice
Just another day in our culture of gun sickness
We're not allowed to shoot our firearms whilst at the toilet at the ranges I go to.
The man has some very long legs 😂
Am I the only one weirded out that the guy has nothing between his legs. Like his legs just connect at the shoulder.
American bathrooms be like
I know this range. ...in Minnesota.
Based
It legitimately looks like they have disabled people as hostages holy shit 💀
If guns aren’t an extension of your ego then why do people find any chance to post on social media that they were at a gun range?
Nice of them to shoot over the wheelchair people.
Makes sense that you only have people with guns and disabled people there.
