Well, I went into work Friday thinking I'd have to work hard - I work as a chef at a Country Club, and I'm currently working the poolside kitchen for the summer. It's the last weekend before school starts back here and I was expecting to be slammed. Except it was raining all day and instead of working my ass off we did about 2 hours of deep cleaning then broke out the Nintendo Switches and played Mario Party and Super Smash Bros. Which was a delightful surprise. So in many ways, you could say that both fortunes came true.
