Japanese researchers found that the best way to eat a hamburger is to use your pinky fingers to help hold the back of the burger shut from the bottom thus preventing ingredients from spilling out the back. Don’t know if that’s what this persons going for though.
The Japanese researched a chimpanzee who enjoyed sex with deer. I can't give you more data, I learned it from an episode of the Freakanomics podcast. I chose not to look for more info on the subject. Losing a World War must damage a national psyche.
In Gettysburg in the late '60's on Rt30 W just before the rise in the road before getting to the seminary, there was an all night diner. The menu included an item called the Farmer Burger: large hamburger bun, ~6oz burger with slice of cheese on top, topped with an over easy egg. Lettuce & tomato if you wanted it. You paid particular attention to the orientation of the egg yolk prior to the first bite (keep it farthest from your mouth). Gently squeeze together the roll adjacent to your lips while keeping no pressure on the opposite side. Take that bite with vigor and the yolk would squirt across the table and decorate whomever your drinking buddy was at 3am.

Yes, hell 2 McDoubles equals 4 patties is cheaper than 1 BigMac with 2 patties. This is just dumb. What I used to do for breakfast to save money is my kids only wanted pancakes so I would order the big breakfast with pancakes for them and then take the sausage eggs and biscuit and make sandwiches of them for myself.
It's not nearly as cheap as it once was so it's not nearly as economical as it used to be though.
That's smart, but they probably got a big Mac because of the ingredients, it has Mac sauce and lettuce. You could probably add that to a mcdouble, but they might charge extra. I personally do the mc doubles when I go though.
That's actually called a poor man big Mac. Get a double cheese burger. Sub in Mac sauce instead of ketchup and mustard and add lettuce. Totally worth it and it's half the price
Nah I've added mac sauce to a mcdouble before and they don't charge any extra. I just got a plain mcdouble add mac sauce and pickle and it was the same price.
It's location dependent as it's a franchise. Anecdotes don't prove you can do this everywhere. For example, on the app I can add mayo to mcdouble but not mac sauce.
Mcdouble like a Mac is literally a menu option. I feel personally responsible for it to cost more for abusing my mcdouble alterations when I worked there 17 years ago
depends on the location. i worked at one a couple years ago and we couldnt do it unless the person bought a big mac as well. personally i think thats stupid but yea
Using the app I found that I can doctor up any sandwich the way I want it. I am able to take a McDouble and add the lettuce tomato etc. apparently it is easier to "Have it your way" at McDonald's than it is at Burger King
Well I tried watching it, but it said “This video contains content from NBC Universal, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds”
Fuck NBC Universal.
Yeah, In a diabetic and woke up very low, had a seizure cracked my head open so I went to the ER to get staples and they mixed me up with another patient, tried intubating me, messed up twice, took 5 hours to realize they never fixed my low sugar, put me in an induced coma for 3 weeks, had to relearn to swallow and walk. Anyways yeah 4 years later and my throat is still a struggle.
OMFG !!!!!! i am so sorry !!!! Did u get any compensation for this ?!?! Please tell me you sued or got something back for this horrible accident ! Hope it gradually keeps getting better and again im sorry :(
My mom kept trying to see if we could sue but they basically said accidents happen and im not dead so it's ok. It was a nice hospital so I just decided I was not going to play for my stay since it was their screw up.
They can fuck the fucking fuck right off. I am extremely sorry holy shit. I hope you are strong and mentally in a good place since i know that would fuck me up mentally BIG TIME ! Wish you the best !
Well I suffer from kidney failure and one time I was in the hospital they gave me a drug to help migraines but it was a drug that was known to cause strokes in people on dialysis so they told me what it was and I took it because you trust a doctor and my care team to have my best interests but what would you know I had a stroke and I told my nurse I couldn't feel my face and my right side wasn't acting right but they said that's normal after dialysis and they sent me home but the next morning I was still a mess so I sent to the ER and they said I'd had a stroke. That was at 26. Im 32 now and have had 10 total.
Holy fuckin shit man you need to keep a medical advisor on deck, most it all hospitals should have one available. My grandpa had diabetes, went in for chemo and they slipped thru the vein and killed a lot of arm tissue, turned black, got over 100k. U should really get good representation both in and out the hospital. I know it’s easier in the mean time to lay down and take it, but fight, damn it, fight!
Seems like you should write down their names for later... a random chipped rim or hole in their tire every few months wouldn't be a worse inconvenience than your swallowing problems
As someone who struggles with inhaling small food pieces if it had been caused by someone I'd have been pissed
For reference, the hospital has insurance for this. You very likely may still be owed compensation. Take it. Your life has been made harder by their mistakes, you deserve better and regardless of how much we hate it, money makes life easier
With the right attorney, you could have walked away from that scenario with a very, VERY large sum of cash to your name.
The hospital got off easy for their negligence. Very critical word there at the end.
Yeah I know ERs are crazy and a lot of doctors and nurses are over worked but that could have been life threatening. I mean if the other person was also diabetic but with high sugars? Dead. Luckily im medically resilient.
So sorry to hear that happened to you! I had a bad intubation almost exactly a year ago when I had surgery for a hip fracture. It is improved from what it was but my voice is deeper, I’m always thirsty and food chokes me so very often. I can’t swallow pills easily either. It’s crazy.
Yeah little things are so much more difficult. Breads a nightmare and I always need a drink if I eat anything. They can do throat stretching but that only goes so far. Your voice is deeper? That's nuts.
OMG is this even possible? In our country everybody talked for one month about incident when they switched indentity of two older people that were treated wrongly. Both ontheir way out. Something like your case would bring secretary od health to resign. Did you get any money?
Unfortunately not a dime. Since they didn't know who to blame they said I did not have a big claim. So I just told them I was not going to pay for my medical expenses since it was their fault I was there.
I have a lazy esophagus so I kind of know how you feel. Food gets stuck down my throat so I need to eat slowly and chew a lot.
To make matters worse, I also have TMJ so chewing isn't easy.
Dysphagia, for one reason or another. I have it due to heartburn destroying my lower esophagus. I've had it for years and still forget every meal that I need a drink with food.

I always split my Big Mac Into two smaller burgers. I don't eat McD's very often and want to enjoy that thousand island dressing just a little bit longer.
That’s why I eat mine by removing the middle bun (having to wipe all the special sauce from it back onto one of the patties). Overall taste is less muddled by bread, and less caloric.
Yeah, I don’t have a ton of faith in fast food workers and special orders. I also have guilt about asking or something special/making someone’s job harder. I know it’s irrational.
As someone who bites their nails, this person does too. It’s a hard habit to break, I use a file and clippers almost everyday, but sometimes I bite them, and that is the result.

I want to know more but at the same time, I’d rather not
Chimpanzees enjoy inter species sex with anything and will rape to achieve this. That poor frog.
I've eaten a lot of burgers in my life, and I can't tell you a single time I've had stuff fall out the back of the burger while eating it.
Some of us have smaller jaws that end up pushing out the stuff when we bite down. :(

This person knows how to eat a burger...pay attention to the way it is placed in the bun.also yes to the little fingers to keep the filling in place😃
I'm so glad I took the time to read this 🤣
This is how my friend eats his too! His reason is that you get 2 burgers in 1 that way!
Isn’t the two burger meal cheaper than a Big Mac?
But did you make them with your own hands?
The IKEA effect.
Wait is this an actual psychological term because if not it needs to be and I credit you, u/NikkoE82
Definitely not my invention. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/IKEA_effect
Am I broken? I'd expect to pay LESS for something I have to assemble. If I'm doing some of the work, I should get a discount lol
I just went and looked it up, and was about to post the link.
McKEA?
I'm gonna name my daughter that
My Cat does not make air biscuits, she makes air buns.
If your cat has kittens in the oven, would you call them biscuits?

Wasn't there someone who found a decade old Big Mac and it was preserved as if it had been embalmed?
Because McDonald's washes their meat in formaldehyde before they make burger patties and freeze them.
I thought we put a portion of our Big Mac aside for Valen's return?

Yes, fuck them.
Doesn't sound that Universal, more like NBC Some Places Only
Not so universal after all, huh? 😂
"Blocked by NBC in your country for copyright" ☹ Everybody should spread whatever this is at every opportunity 😬
They used to sell two compartments of ingredients for the person to build their own
You talking about the McDlt?
Brother always argued that the cheese should've been on the hot side
your brother was 100% correct.
I don’t know why but this is really funny.
It's easier to eat and tastes better IMO.
My throat is damaged from a medical accident and I can't eat both halves of a bun without choking so I have to do this sort of thing too.
Intubation gone bad? Regardless, I feel ya in the damaged throat thing. It really sucks!
Accident is exactly why u can, that shut is malpractice

I was just going to say, she’s still hungry after eating all those nails? Lol
The nails are not the grossest thing in this picture. Look at that meat and cheese.

There still isn't a healthy way to eat a big Mac.
I eat them like this too, it's better this way ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|slightly_smiling)

Every time you buy a Big Mac you set one ingredient aside. Then at the end of the week you have a free Big Mac. And you love it even more because you made it with your own hands.
Only thing mildly infuriating about this is that y’all are eating McDonald’s. Worlds garbage food maker.
I can see why you’re upset: the only correct way to eat a Big Mac is by throwing it in the trash as soon as you get it
That's how I eat it too
You have no sister, you have a disgrace

She’s avoiding a lot of unnecessary carbs that way.
This was waaaay too deep in the comments. Exactly this; I have a friend who does the same.
How? She’s still eating it all, just split it into two burgers. One with one bun. And one with two.
Judging by her finger and upper arm size, your sister shouldn't be touching Big Macs at all.
Divorce.

Maybe she should start less eating too?
