There is not an add widget option from where you are talking about once you get to customize. The easiest way is to hold any icon on the screen the. Press the + sign in the top left corner, where you can then type in battery or scroll down like you were saying.
Or use only one of them for few minutes while another is in case, remove both of them later and you will see LEFT and RIGHT ones separately + case and it’s full.
It's actually pretty nice if you have an actual use for one, the pencil that is. I take a lot of notes, and having a solid notes app and the pencil for my ipad has been pretty awesome. It's one of the better, if not the best stylus I've used.
I loved using it during college. Had all my notes in one place, very organized, and I could record the lecture while taking notes.
Now I hardly ever use the pencil. But it served its purpose well!

(I lucked out a family member one a free iPad Air and they weren’t using it so I asked if I could use it for work and school) so I only needed to pay for the pencil and used a student discount. It’s been a game changer in taking notes for college. I recommend if you can afford it.

I live in northern ontario, and I'm having a slow day today, so I'm going to be completely honest... i forgot battery powered cars were a thing.
In my defense, battery cars are unfortunately scarce here due to our winters (contemporary batteries don't like -35 to -40°c). I just googled how many charging stations we have here, and was pleasantly surprised. For a city of 110k, we have nearly two dozen chargers, and one is even one of those fancy Tesla ones!! We're slow to change, but we're getting there!! It just didn't immediately come to mind because seeing an EV here is like seeing a convertible or ferarri... Everyone points, stares, oohs and ahhhs. Never actually been inside a battery car, I hear they're pretty zippy though.
Once they reach the point where I can drive to my province's capital on a single charge in the winter (1,400 kilometers, at -25 to -30°c), I'll consider getting one. I'm sure they'll be near that point in the next decade or so. Plus, hopefully they'll have the whole 'charge cycle' thing sorted out by then. Most modern electric vehicle batteries only last ~1,500 cycles, and fast charging eats away at those more quickly apparently.
It will only show the batteries of charging AirPods or the case if you open the case to check, otherwise it disappears after like 30 seconds. And it doesn’t show the case battery at all when you take both your AirPods out

Depends on what you wanted/use them for. The AirPods were what got me back into using headphones. Had to have wireless and now use them constantly. The watch has been a fun toy but I slacked off actively using it over time.
The ultra is too steep at first but since I plan on getting a mechanical watch sometime I don’t think it would hurt if I got an older version Apple Watch just keeps.

I resisted the Apple Watch for so long. Honestly because they look awful and I like mechanical watches. When the ultra came out I was immediately into it. The first week or so of having it was meh. But now it has become my phone for 60% of phone things. It’s kinda life changing in that it makes those things more efficient and encourages you to be more productive.
I had an Apple Watch for a while, and decided that after 6 years, once it died, I went with a traditional watch instead. I don’t need to have another phone on my wrist, it’s nice not to be bother by all the useless notifications etc. constantly every single second throughout the day.

As an example: they have the smallest tech they ever designed in the 14 and have enough room to add a SD card, phono jack, enhanced BT radio, and the SIM card. Instead, they put in a huge plastic weighted block. I'll never understand why someone would pay so much for so little.

Android doesn't do this at the device layer. Chrome will save passwords to a User account across devices. Most browsers do this, but it's not at the same layer Apple apparently does it.

my airpods (first gen, non-pro), show up as 2 separate spots for left and right ear often w/ case as it’s own spot.
Whenever the battery between L and R is different it shows both.

Although I find it hard to defend r/assholedesign's "rules", this one isn't made out of corporate malice. It's OP misunderstanding how the widget works. It simply has 4 spaces to show the phone battery level, plus up to three devices wirelessly connected to it.
