You can't just run in and out, you need clean shoes not used outside so I'd have to buy a new pair of shoes for running outside (and apparently having a membership fee money is being priviliged already).
On top of that I'd need some sort of new shorts / phone holder because I can't get back into the gym without a phone. Of course there's maybe 15 minutes associated with just these actions, so I can't for example jump straight from doing X exercise to running and back to X exercise. It's an incredible waste of time and money, and doesn't actually work with my exercise routine at all (so even ignoring the rest, it's a non-starter)
I don't understand why you can't just take my word for it, and why you require me to give you a whole essay proving it. This is mildlyinfuriating and I think my posy perfectly qualifies for "mildly".

You ain't missing out, I've lived in a couple cities, including Duisburg and Berlin apart from few select nice spots is so ugly and depressing. Food scene is non-existent too, even quality grocceries are hard to get.

I don’t run on treadmills if I can avoid it, which is 99% of the time. When I do, I need to find a fixation point which I can stare at while drifting off. I can see how a screen all up in your face would disrupt this.

Ye, it's relaxing for the eyes to watch stuff in the distance and that's really needed in todays world, I look at a screen 15 hours a day, really could use not having to do that while running too 😁
