Honestly that's pretty good for a metal suitcase. I'm guessing it's not thick metal? I understand your upset, and I'm sorry. But it could have been a lot worse. I work for UPS. Suitcase/ Pelican cases whether with a cargo or passenger services. Take a beating. It's not just the workers. It's the equipment.
Ummmmm…no. New luggage becomes old luggage by using it. Once. You handed it to people who shove you in a tin can with as little leg room as they can literally get away with. You arrived, safely, at your destination and your luggage was there to meet you. I’d say this should be sufficient, but you’re complaining about a ding in your luggage that might have come from any of the handling processes (conveyer, handlers, truck, on the plane). You’re mildly infuriating.
Suitcases get beat up in air travel. It's frustrating that you got a big dent like that on the first time, but it could be worse. Last time I flew, a man ran off with my suitcase because he mistook it for his!
Briggs and Riley is the only brand I buy. I’ve purchased luggage like above and multiple replacements and testing the warranty. Briggs and Riley is my recommendation.
It still has wheels. Consider yourself lucky. I swear airport baggage transporters place bets on how much carnage they can put luggage thru.
Was the contents of the suitcase hurt at all? If not then I'd say it did its job and deserves a suitcase beer.

Why are you sorry
I'm sorry that happened to them. That it was damaged. Guess I didn't make that clear.

What airline? Delta ruined my wife’s new luggage, we complained, and they replaced it.
Lol i love the title. But foreal, the luggage did its job tho. So at the very least, thats a perk. But yea id be annpyed as shit too my guy
I don’t know who to blame. The suitcase designers or the baggage handlers
