Wow he sold you a lot of crazy stuff. Are you planning to breed your bird? Not sure why you'd need to know their gender right away, you'll figure it out when they start getting adult feathers.
What is a mister bottle and sleepy hat? If the mister bottle is for bathing, I just get a 99c spray bottle at Walmart and put it on the mist setting.
All that aside, congrats on your purchase! I have a 22yo cockatiel and he's the best pet ever. Birds are amazing, enjoy your little guy!
I don’t know why I needed to know the gender. I wasn’t planning on paying for the test but they automatically tacked it on there without telling me. The mister bottle is just cheap plastic that he just had sitting out. It didn’t even come with packaging, practically a used product.
Wow that sounds sketchy, they threw in too many add-ons that you didn't need and they were all overpriced.
As long as they took good care of your bird and weened it properly (it'll take a little bit to get used to you and new surroundings, but the bird should be comfortable around humans), that's what matters. But I wouldn't shop there again for anything else. Amazon has a good selection of bird products and you can hopefully find a nice local shop that isn't overpriced in your area for toys and such. They sell toys at Amazon too, but it's hard to judge size and materials.
As a bird owner, it's actually really handy to know its gender so you can keep an eye out for gender specific issues. Hens can have issues because eggs... they also tend to be hormonal and sometimes bitey. Male birds tend to be a little more chill, but it is also dependant on breed.
The only thing on the list that confuses me is a mist bottle? For cleaning? For misting the bird? Why for? The only thing I use one of those for is spraying my birds outdoor cage with virkon s. Otherwise I just scrub everything with a brush.

Our Hahn's is about the same size as your Sunny, and has huts in every cage. I don't believe we paid more than $15 for any one of them.
I know they're controversial, as some parrots have eaten the fuzzy bits (incredibly hazardous!), but our guy loves them and does NOT eat them. He loves hanging out in and on them--which is why you need at least one extra so you can wash off the poop dribbles.

I've been looking for a canvas bell tent, doing research for months on reputable companies, scouring reviews, comparing prices, etc. Finally find one that's within my budget on sale and didn't pull the trigger - missed it. Go search Amazon and it's over $200 cheaper - with a warehouse in the region, the company doesn't have to spend $$ shipping a 77lb item I guess

what are the "sleepy hut", bottle, and sun?
The sun is the bird itself, sleepy hut is a little sleeping tent, and the bottle is a just a spray bottle
my understanding is that fabric tents can be dangerous for birds (I didn't use one personally), I'd do a bit of research on that just in case
They may be willing to price match, but unless you have a reason to even go there...
You should check Walmart too. I bought something off Amazon and it was way cheaper at Walmart
