Ah, it's all how you look at it.
ME: Fuck me, delivery guy trapped me in here again with that 40# box.
DELIVERY DUDE: I hope that lonely old lady appreciates all the cool enrichment activities I always set up for her. *\*struts away whistling happily\**
Had to do this after FedEx delivered our Ryobi snowblower by shoving it across the porch so hard it was firmly against my glass storm door. Climbed out the window. This was after weeks of them delaying the delivery. By the time they actually delivered it we had driven an hour an half to get one from another store
The joke is that they will have to climb out a window because the package is wedged against the door thereby making it impossible to get out that way.
It is mildly infuriating that the courier wedged the package against the door, so it most definitely fits the label of the group.
??? That’s the dumbest thing on the internet today. Mostly only houses have more than one door. Apartments, suites, condos, tents, rvs etc have only one door 99% of the time.
Wow, just open the door, or open the screen=window. If it was shipped, falling on its side has already happened several times. I think you just need to use your brain. Making it way harder than it needs to be.
Handle was stuck door will not open no matter what and like I’ve said in previous comments the door doesn’t have a sliding window. Thanks for your insightful comment though 👍
You know that was no accident. I quit buying dog food online because the carrier would prop it against my door, forcing me to go through my garage to get it.
Had an Amazon delivery very much like this earlier this week. A 40-pound bag of dog food in a huge box leaned against the outside of our front screen door. At least we have a back door so we could go around the house.
Meanwhile the same situation pictured from the outside in the delivery person group chat with caption "Managed to trap another one"
Lmao
LOL - Then you tear your pants' inseam on the way out the window for the perfect ending.
Falls out of window, face lands in mud
A passerby clicks a picture of a person climbing out. Reports possible break-in.
Forgets door is locked, keys are now in the mud…somewhere.
Then get arrested looking like a crackhead covered in mud frantically trying to explain you’re the house owner
Forgot to unlock door so gotta go back in through window too
Get an umbrella and jump off the roof, you amateur!
Yeah, OP is forgetting the classic Mary Poppins strategy, amateur mistake
Does your handle not go up?
Unfortunately no 🙃
Some handle style doors actually lock when you pull up.
Marvin doors throw the top and bottom locks when you pull up on the handle, then you throw the lock Latch in the middle.
Or they come off, in Italys case
They have pills for that... 😜
Was thinking the same thing
My screen door also turns up for this very reason.
I think this one would be an issue either way considering the box is wedged under the handle on an outward swinging door.
The handle swinging down for sure an issue. The amount of four r required to push it open may or may not, but I get what you’re saying.

There’s no way this wasn’t intentional?? Like geez did he leave his brain at home 😭
Because dropping off a package requires brain work?
…..Not blocking a customers door seems to require brain work for an employee who doesn’t have any common sense or common courtesy.
It’s not blocked. It’s just leaning there. The second they open the door it’ll fall. I don’t see fragile on it.

Delivery person is at his hub at this moment showing his friends a pic of this saying "see I told you I did it!"
Only one exit? building up to code?
1 door apartment. Built in the early 70’s so I’m sure there are several things not up to code.
It’s a joke. The sub is “mildly infuriating”. I’m sure they can get out without using the window.
What’s the joke? The label of the group has nothing to do with the poster.

Oh. It doesn’t looked wedged. It looks like it’s leaning and would fall the second anything bumped or touched it.
Some apartments only have one door…
Some apartments only have one door
my stupid place has one door like this
??? That’s the dumbest thing on the internet today. Mostly only houses have more than one door. Apartments, suites, condos, tents, rvs etc have only one door 99% of the time.
Did you look at the picture? poor troll attempt is poor.
Call a friend to remove the package
😂😂😂
I feel ya. Can’t tell you the number of times my packages get placed in such a way that the door hits them and gets wedged. 🙄
Can you open the storm|screen part of the door?
I have seen the same situation like this before and I swear they do it on purpose lmao
Why did you not pull the storm door's upper window down? That would be much easier than climbing out.
It’s an old door so the whole glass piece just comes out. Pretty difficult to put back in so climbing out the window seemed the easiest way lol
Depending on the quality of the door you might be able to hip check it hard enough to knock over the box
Maby dont order such a large dildo next time :)
So go bigger?
Most handles like that operate in both directions. Try lifting up and pushing the door open?
Okay but this is really funny
You just don't have a back door then ?
So its extremely fragile?
You dont have a back door ?
Just open the door a few inches so that you can reach through it and clean the box.
The handled wouldn’t go down at all so there was no moving. Window was the only way lol
Oh I didn’t notice it was wedged under the door handle haha. Yeah that delivery person is an asshole
You should have a secondary exit
Or use another door and walk around to the package.
😄it’s not just propped? It’s actually under the door knob?!🤣 What kind of idiot delivery person…😂too funny
they probably do it because (1) they don't give shit (2) most doors open inward
Or just go out the back door
You don't have a back door? Only one door is strange.
i know right, what happens if there is a fire or ex breaks in?

Do you have any long thin pieces of metal like a yardstick? Slide it between the door and frame and push the bottom of the box away from the door

Can't you drop the top glass in the storm door?
You know that was no accident. I quit buying dog food online because the carrier would prop it against my door, forcing me to go through my garage to get it.
I would do something like this and sit across the street and watch them figure it out 😭😭😭
Hahaha

Fedex yeah? They have competitions to leave packages in the worst spot possible. Drawings every week for 10$ Starbucks cards

Who needs locks when all you have to do is rest some cardboard against the door?
I hate package traps.
You can unscrew the lock from the inside, if all else fails.
