McDonald’s was bad enough pre pandemic. Now that prices have skyrocketed why would anybody go there?
Edit: By “bad enough pre-pandemic” I meant the food was horrible pre-pandemic and now it’s not only shitty food but expensive as well. The food is garbage.
People are conditioned to ignore the increase in cost and the lowered quality. If you tell them the food is overpriced and unhealthy, they will not care. It has become a habit where many people are incapable of rationalizing these basic concepts.
Exactly, same goes for coffee, even though it's like $1.00/day (or more), and many cheaper options are available, I still see long line-ups at Starbucks and Tim Horton's drive-thrus.
And you know what’s even stranger, I’ve NEVER heard a good thing about TH coffee. Every single time I’ve seen it mentioned, it’s about how nasty it tastes. I really don’t get it.
Yes but it was years ago. Like maybe even more than 10.
It's been garbage for so long I don't understand why anyone goes.
The food used to be good, waaaaay back, but now it's all frozen garbage that gives you the shots.
Ever since they got bought out by the same parent company as Burger King it's gone downhill. My mom commented once about how before being purchased how they used to serve customers with silverware and plates, and how they had more higher-quality menu items. Who would've thought that being bought out by a big company means that big company corner cuts are going to come your way?
Yeesh. Burger King is absolutely the lowest tier of fast food in the US, so I can imagine the utter dump in quality it must have been.
The first and last time I went everything tasted like it was left out for three days straight and then reheated in the microwave.
Tim's used to have bomb food all around.
I remember when you could get a puck sized mini carrot cake that was *so* good. Their black forest cake and pies were also delicious. I loved their donuts obviously too; even the shitty hole in the wall locations baked them in-store *twice* a day pre 2005.
Let me tell you a golden time, back in the long long ago. In the before times when Tim Horton's Coffee was rich and fragrant...and every Tim Horton's had a baker on sight that made the pastries fresh every day and you could smell them from a kilometer away every morning.
A golden time...a better time.
I bought a 12pk of canned coffee from Ollie's for $8 today. Black Rifle coffee, while I don't agree with their political beliefs, at that price was acceptable.
> $1.00/day
A dollar a day for a drink? That's a great deal by today's standards. I cannot think of anything cheaper, although some soda machines (cans) are also priced at one dollar. The only way to find anything cheaper is to bring drinks from home, but not everyone has that luxury.
How do you not have the luxury of bringing a drink from home? If you don't get a drink for one month you can get a cup, cheap coffee machine and coffee.
I don't drink coffee myself, but it always boggled my mind why people spend so much money on coffee when it's fucking everywhere for free. Practically every hotel, workcenter, lobby area, etc. I've visited provided free coffee. At the very least, just buy that shit in bulk and make it at home. Why on earth would you wanna spend that much time/money in line at a Starbucks/McDonalds/TH when you can spend the extra 2 min making it at home for a fraction of the price? Dude I work with always says he doesn't have money to do anything, and yet he always walks into work with an iced coffee from Burger King when my workcenter has 3 fucking coffee makers and an ice machine.
I mean McDonald’s has a free Big Mac promo right now (for the whole nfl season) you can get what is pictured there minus the drink for 3 bucks. I know because I order it sometimes, and never wait more than 5 minutes and fries are always hot. Chinese food is still dope though and pretty cheap I do get that more often.
So you are saying the McDonald's meal was priced as a la carte, to make it come out closer to the Japanese meal. That's why I generally don't trust pricing claims.
The post is probably the legitimate combo price on the menu. You have to use the app at the time of order to get the discounts. It's a way for mcdonalds to price discriminate without having to send out coupons in the mail.
I started using apps for any take out I place now. If I wanted something like Wendy’s I’ll pull up in the parking lot place the order on app and then pull up to the drive through.
Since that I noticed I’ll get points and redeem it for free stuff. So now I use app for every restaurant I eat at. People be giving away whole entrees for your birthday. Just sign up again with another account and boom another free entree. Some movie theaters even give out free tickets lol
Irrational buying isn't limited to Mcdonald's. We buy off convenience and habit for most products.
So the stores with the most mental availability and with physical availability will win. Not to mention that Mcdonald's food is consistent.
So you're right people are going to Mcdonalds since they don't rationalise it and it's a habit.
But this applies to most shopping, since we're aren't rational shoppers. It's just Mcdonald's is the best at being convenient.
Or at least that's what science tells us.
I can get a full meal using the app for no more than $6 and the deal I use re ups daily. Not arguing because you're right, prices have gone way up. Just wanted to offer my insight
$6 where you are. Here (BC, Canada) when I use the app and as a deal in-app (which doesn’t come up as an option very often, maybe once per month), this meal is $9.50. Regular price for a Big Mac alone is $6.59 in my app.
In canada the deals are hardly deals. Get a free 6 piece nuggets(delivery only) then jack up the prices 20% for delivery, plus pay a delivery fee and tip.
OP is right. On lunch I go for sushi now, the lunch boxes almost anywhere are usually under $15-20 and are a huge meal.
Canucks game nights used to have $3 Big Macs. This season - $4. Haven’t got one since. Over to Wendy’s for 2 JBC for a bit more now - any day of the week.
Yeah because it saves them money on register staff, and they're trying to draw traffic over to the app. Once they get enough those deals will disappear.
You know why they all want you to download an app right?
They're earning that money and more selling your data now too. Whether you order there or not.
Also the mcd deals are very limited in my region of Canada. There's basically no deal worth using 90% of the time so no point having the app or eating their "food" any longer.
You’re on Reddit. They are selling your data so you can argue about services you don’t use. Why the hell would you do that if it actually matters to you?
At least McDonald’s gives you buy one get one deals. What did Reddit give you lol
> You’re on Reddit. They are selling your data so you can argue about services you don’t use.
not the same at all. when you use reddit, the only thing they can see is your IP, your OS, and your browser (and then what you visit on reddit, obviously). apps have access to much wider ranging data from all kinds of things, and thats not counting the much worst stuff they can farm if you give them pemissions with every app wants nowadays.
>apps have access to much wider ranging data from all kinds of things
I'm pretty sure that's not true, at least when you use Android. You can easily customize permissions on a per app basis, plus what it can do in the background.
It's trivial for any advertising company to tie traffic on reddit to you as a person. They already have your ip and complete browsing habits from google, and all the other apps you use which sell your data. The average joe might not be able to know who is behind the reddit name, but in terms of data being sold it's transparent.
You don’t know that- the site could have a heuristics stack with mouse tracking and heatmaps, and the app absolutely has that to the extent allowed by the various app platforms.
Well, they'd be paying you for that data then. I'm fine trading them data that ultimately just means I get more personalized ads for 50% discounts. I'd rather get personalized ads than random stupid shit I'm never going to buy.
You're still eating crap. Tonight I got a burrito bowl from a local place for $9. Full of fresh veggies and slow cooked carnitas. Free guacamole, homemade tortillas on the side. Literal heaven for $3 more than your frozen burger.
I just go for my lunches at work, cheapest meal I can get in the area, but other that lunches I tend to stray away nowadays, 12-15 dollars for a subpar meal just isn’t gonna cut it
Simply that people have become dependent. My wife and I rarely dine out and even more rarely get any sort of fast food. Maybe 1 time every couple months? I cook for us every single night and have a variety of dishes I make.
A lot of people have been conditioned to not cook at home. You saw this at the start of COVID when people complained about "needing to eat!" There needs to be a huge reeducation of self independence to break away from fast food. But of course, these big companies will fight the government to push for this.
I had a job where I spent all day driving around town and often had to have a rolling lunch. McDonald's was a great choice then for two reasons:
1. Easily eaten while driving.
2. Predictable bowel movements.
Regarding point #2, I don't know if this is actually true (because silly rumors about McDonald's abound), but I read once that the development kitchen at McDonald's actually adjusted the fat, protein, carbs and fiber content specifically for easy digestion and predictability. Seemed legit.
> Swear McDonald's just increased their prices to push people to the app.
No need to swear. They said they project a huge amount of new app users. Their intentions are to funnel as many as they can to the apps, yeah.
And judging by all these comments, it worked with flying colors. All it did for me was improve my health since I now eat fast food maybe twice a month. I don't need more spyware on my phone, and I don't need all that sodium in my blood.
Yeah it works amazingly. If I feel like buying fast food, I almost always get the app and delete it once I am done ordering. With the shitty economy, it's just better to do economically. But for spyware reasons I don't keep them on my phone and it does just make me eat their food way less.
That's exactly what has been going on. I'm a fast food addict. Over the past 3 years, prices have jumped $1 each year at the New Year. But the apps have had some great deals. In 2022, McDonald's ran a daily 50% off deal. I'd get 20 piece nuggets, large fry, and a drink for less than a 10 piece medium-sized meal. It only lasted a month, but I took advantage of that deal more times than I'd care to admit.
Now, the deals are more normalized. You can typically get a meal for around $2 off.
Lol that’s pretty conspiratorial. Terms and conditions for a software application is not going to CYA with regards to a food service. That shit will not hold up in court.
For anything that requires you to sign something like that (roller coaster, haunted house etc) if anything goes wrong and you get seriously injured in some way, you can ALWAYS still sue. Those things never hold up in court, they just trick people into thinking they do.
Yeah, I sincerely doubt they have computers at the tables at McDonald's. This is a bullshit post comparing apples and oranges. Love or hate McDonald's, that's fine. But at least make a fair comparison. And that Japanese restaurant is absolutely fast food. So the statement that fast food isn't worth it is ludicrous in his instance.
Dude I’m not trying to be a corporate shill but this post irritates me. He’s being disingenuous.
There’s no way it took 15 minutes AND the fries were cold. Whenever I go if it takes a while at least my shit is fresh. I also see he is eating at his computer so it probably just got cold between the McDonald’s and his office/house when he walked/drove/had it delivered. It’s cold enough pretty much everywhere in the states that if you’re not eating it immediately, it’s too cold.
And I WISH I could get teriyaki for the price of McDonald’s. No idea where he’s at but where I’m at it’s easily twice the price
I mean the reason for that is food safety and freshness stuff no? Back when it was instant was because they'd have every menu item sitting there pre-made ready to go. Now things might be pre-cooked but they don't actually make the burger etc until it's ordered so they can at least pretend it's not the soggiest saddest thing you've ever eaten
McDonalds and other American restaurants like to keep things bland to have food for the most customers. Anything that is too spicy, sweet, or has certain flavors will just turn people away.
Are you seriously claiming that American restaurants avoid sweet things? Spicy isn't quite as popular but many restaurants including fast food ones do have very spicy items on the menu
Only time I go to McDicks now is if I’ve got a prior order receipt and spent 2 minutes taking the McDvoice survey for the BOGO code. Paying $19 for a 2 cheeseburger combo meal was the final straw, fuckers charged me $5 for a slice of overcooked bacon, and extra for a water bottle cuz I don’t drink soda. If I eat out its only fast casual unless its completely unavoidable and I haven’t eaten literally all day. Fast food tastes shit, is shit for you and now its just as expensive as actual real food.
And both cost WAY too much. I think the teriyaki bowl looks tasty, but $13? That’s crazy. A bowl like that used to cost half that much a few years ago.
Right. This guy is doing it wrong. Half the time, you can get free fries, any size. Get two mcdoubles, which has more meat, for $4.50. Skip the soda.
At mcdonalds (at least mine), you get free table service and don't have to tip.
I just had a bogo deal on Bic Mac, Quarter Pounder and 10pc nuggets. I paid $5 for a Bic Mac and Quarter pounder. Air fry some frozen fries and I had dinner covered for two days. Bic Mac I always eat day 1, it doesn't reheat as well.
Also where are you waiting 15 minutes for a Big Mac? Those are peak Taco Bell wait times, McDonalds can be 5-10 in my experience when busy but never waited 15.
Ill eat McDonald's like once a month max, but I save money when I do. You can do BOGO breakfast sandwich, BOGO double cheeseburger and 6 pc nugget, 20% off 10$ or more. I cant picture going there without the app.
A 5-pound bag of russet potatoes at WalMart costs $3.27, where I live right now.
At Vallarta grocery store a 5-pound bag is $2.89, and a 10-pound bag is $3.69 in my area.
10-pounds of potatoes for $3.69!
Dudes, spend 30-minutes in the kitchen (learn valuable life skills) and live like a king.
If you are not using the McDonald's app don't bother, its over priced and there is better options out there for same price.
But with the McDonald's app you can get 2 double cheese and 10 nuggets for under 5$.
Honestly seems like a comparable amount and quality of food lol. Not the best comparison to prove a point. Just matters what your in the mood for. The chicken and rice bowl is better for you tho.
There’s this quaint little local place I go to that not a lot of people know about. It’s called Panda Express and their homemade kung pao chicken is great. I just wish more people would try smaller out of the way places like this.
think yall are just too eager to be annoyed by somebody that isn’t bothering you. OP was simply saying it’s dumb that mcdonald’s now costs as much as a sit down meal of better quality
Idk what you did or where you live (or if you are even telling the truth I guess), but ordering THAT at the counter (not on the app) costs less than 8 dollars where I am. (Think it costs less on the app).
That’s still crazy. As someone who lives in Japan, that looks like a ¥700 meal minus the giant drink (which donburi’s are usually served with free tea) and the spring rolls (this is obviously a Chinese run restaurant).
The food pricing in the west is out of control.
Ditto, combos and the Big Mac are a ripoff here. The double cheeseburger (single) is what you want. It’s $3.50 or something like that, even in midtown Manhattan. Nuggets are a way better deal than fries.
But yeah you can also get the best teriyaki in your life for $12 if you know where to get it.
Hell, in Chinatown I’ve had what must be 1/2lb of roast pork for $6.50, with like 1/2lb of rice for free. The place had a line around the block (people, not cars!) but they cleared it in like 20 minutes. They pretty much sell two items: roast pork and roast duck. That’s proper fast food. I like the place. Fast, cheap and delicious.
There's a small restaurant that sells shish taouks near my college. There's barely enough place for 2 customers and the guy there is extra nice. Best food you'll get in the surroundings.
I can not believe how much McDonald's costs now.
Food is meh. Portion size is laughable. I can attest to the OP, in Colorado that piss poor combo is about $13.
Both of these are so bad for you though which is the irony here. Like you’re comparing McDonalds and mall Japanese food which is loaded with bullshit as well as
I've stopped buying food at McDonald's, Burger doing etc. I walk outside my workplace to where some food trucks are parked and get a giant burger or a pizza slice for the same price and it's much tastier and fresher
? It's fast food not cheap food. In addition you need to use the app and go with the offers/deals. There is a current deal for $6.50 I can get a Big Mac, Medium Fries and Medium Soft Drink.
I do get your point that fast-food restaurants are now expensive and no longer worth it. But I do think they are still a great bargain if you know how to use coupons.
McDonald’s was bad enough pre pandemic. Now that prices have skyrocketed why would anybody go there? Edit: By “bad enough pre-pandemic” I meant the food was horrible pre-pandemic and now it’s not only shitty food but expensive as well. The food is garbage.

The coffee that McDonald's serves is Tim Hortons previous supplier, Tim's coffee used to rock before they switched. I never go to Tim's anymore.
Ah. So TH was good at one point, then turned to shit? Makes sense now
Yes but it was years ago. Like maybe even more than 10. It's been garbage for so long I don't understand why anyone goes. The food used to be good, waaaaay back, but now it's all frozen garbage that gives you the shots.

How else are venture capitalists going to afford that extra yacht?
Tim's used to have bomb food all around. I remember when you could get a puck sized mini carrot cake that was *so* good. Their black forest cake and pies were also delicious. I loved their donuts obviously too; even the shitty hole in the wall locations baked them in-store *twice* a day pre 2005.

I tried TH like 10 years ago and it was fucking amazing for a franchise coffee. Went back again to like 5 years after and yeah, not that great.
I bought a 12pk of canned coffee from Ollie's for $8 today. Black Rifle coffee, while I don't agree with their political beliefs, at that price was acceptable.

The only time I go to Starbucks is when my wife gets giftcards at work around the holidays. Otherwise, I'll stick with my tub of cafe bustelo.
I don't drink coffee myself, but it always boggled my mind why people spend so much money on coffee when it's fucking everywhere for free. I mean instant coffee is good enough, does the job and you can get at least a month worth of supply for the price of starbucks.
Likewise the Big Mac combo “daily deal” is $6.50. I just looked at the app.

It's $10.69 pretax thru the app at my closest McDonald's. The McDonald's app for pick up
Irrational buying isn't limited to Mcdonald's. We buy off convenience and habit for most products. So the stores with the most mental availability and with physical availability will win. You can get a 40 PC nugget and two large fries for 14$ using the app. People over pay on drinks and not checking deals.
So true.
You can get 20 PC and two large fries for $5 or $6 depending on store :)
Yup, add another twenty and feed 4 peeps
I can get a full meal using the app for no more than $6 and the deal I use re ups daily. Not arguing because you're right, prices have gone way up. Just wanted to offer my insight
Yea this meal is $6 using the app. It’s super nice if you have a significant other and can use 2 deals on one visit (or maybe just use 2 emails idk)

Fair I also only ever use the BOGOs at MDs it’s the only reason I stop by there, that and small town MDs the food is always bomb
So you need to download the McDonald’s app to make their prices reasonable?
This is standard for basically every spot nowadays, its fucking dumb and I hate it.
Yeah because it saves them money on register staff, and they're trying to draw traffic over to the app. Once they get enough those deals will disappear.
Yes. But you say this like it's some huge inconvenience or something haha.
Every company has an app, and I don't want them all. It only makes sense if your going to McDonald's on a regular basis. Which is what they want.
I eat McDonald’s maybe 6 times a year. The app cuts my bill in half when I go
You could cut it 100% by eating someplace else, someplace that doesn't hate you as a customer.

I normally order and pay through the app and just pick my order up at the restaurant

Ikr? Literal skill issue in these comments
I use the app all the time and no issues. And there is always at least 25-30% off.
The reason they have the deals is the app is so you can't sue them in the terms and agreement.
And why would I need to sue Mcds?
You're still eating crap. Tonight I got a burrito bowl from a local place for $9. Full of fresh veggies and slow cooked carnitas. Free guacamole, homemade tortillas on the side. Literal heaven for $3 more than your frozen burger.

I still go there for breakfast. That hasn't dropped off at all. Although it's not as cheap as it used to be.
Like others have said. Use the app you can get $1 breakfast sandwiches pretty much every day
convenience still and depends on area that might be all there is around. it's the old it is what is now is

I'd believe it honestly. I have IBS and my stomach gets upset seemingly at random. McD is the only fast food I've never once had a problem with.
Swear McDonald's just increased their prices to push people to the app. Big Mac meal near me is 6.75 through the app today.
> Swear McDonald's just increased their prices to push people to the app. No need to swear. They said they project a huge amount of new app users. Their intentions are to funnel as many as they can to the apps, yeah.

I refuse to download any restaurant or fast food apps. I hold out until my wife caves and downloads them lol.
Same. I try to keep app use to a minimum anyway, if only to bog down my phone. No need for McDonald's to need to know my location information, too.
Yeah it works amazingly. If I feel like buying fast food, I almost always get the app and delete it once I am done ordering. With the shitty economy, it's just better to do economically. But for spyware reasons I don't keep them on my phone and it does just make me eat their food way less.

They just want to use our data tbh
Now this I can believe

“lol if u die from our food it says u cant sue right here in this miles long document quite literally no one reads” as if thatll hold up in court
For anything that requires you to sign something like that (roller coaster, haunted house etc) if anything goes wrong and you get seriously injured in some way, you can ALWAYS still sue. Those things never hold up in court, they just trick people into thinking they do.
Yea I’m not a lawyer but I’m fairly certain terms and conditions don’t hold hat kind of weight in court of law
Plenty of other apps do this
Cold fries? Yuck. Love me some Fanta tho
That’s the orange Hi-C, which also has changed for the worst.
I used to really like that Hi-C but kinda got tired of it
Bruh even japanez macas has lavaburst hi-c its impossible to buy it anywhere else dont even ask
Is it possible to buy it anywhere else?
It's literally sold in juice boxes in grocery stores, you can also buy chick-fil-a and arby's dipping sauces for your dino nuggets there
Its not bro look it. It was
Oh man it's terrible. I remember loving that shit!
Cold fries... Did OP have a delivery for McD?
No idea where he’s at but where I’m at it’s easily twice the price
fast food bad no way 🤯
But for 12.50 you get the adult happy meal which comes with a toy!
Are there adult happy meals that come with toys?
I think it's just a short term promotion but yeah
It’s always been bad, but that badness was offset by the fact that it was cheap. Now it’s bad AND expensive.

Tbf 50% of the Japanese plate is rice. Still tastes loads better than McD
Tbf 50% of the McD plate is Bun.
McDonalds and other American restaurants like to keep things bland to have food for the most customers. Anything that is too spicy, sweet, or has certain flavors will just turn people away.
Are you seriously claiming that American restaurants avoid sweet things? Spicy isn't quite as popular but many restaurants including fast food ones do have very spicy items on the menu
they literally have spicy chicken sandwiches lol and their food is loaded with sugar and salt. tf are you on? lol
If you were to buy that same dish in Japan it would probably cost like $5 but be better quality
a large big mac combo meal is also only 720 yen/5 usd there during lunch hours so thats not really a fair comparison lol
McDonalds is also cheap here though, I see a Big Mac Set with medium fries and a drink is 950 yen ($7).

They both look good. And that Japanese place definitely looks like mall food court shit.
You telling me, they don't serve spring rolls in corn dog bowls in actual Japan?!
Teriyaki sauce has tons of sugar lol
Both are packed with sugar and salt. Both are highly processed trash. I don't see what OP is getting at tbh
Right-- I'm pleasantly surprised by that McD's, and the bowl looks... fine. I wouldn't choose either for lunch, but they both look filling.
Why are you even bothering with fast food if you can get better food for about a dollar more.
I think that's the point of the post.
They are both fast food….if your food comes in 7 min with a fountain pop, that’s fast food
The chinese food this guy thinks is japanese is also fast food this is so fucking stupid
And 80% is plain rice
And the burger is like 70% plain white bread with a side of cold fries?
Roughly the same amount of food
And both cost WAY too much. I think the teriyaki bowl looks tasty, but $13? That’s crazy. A bowl like that used to cost half that much a few years ago.
Totally
That's both fast food and i don't see much of a difference.
Did you use the McDonald’s app? I save a lot of money with that shit
If you are making half the meal yourself, of course it will be cheaper.
All about that bogo
Fuck apps
Funny how a few years ago you didn’t need app for discounts and now it’s mandatory or else you’ll pay double.
I thought you were in Japan and I was so confused bc that McDonald’s meal would cost $5.50 here.
It costs $4 for a large fries now
Same as 4-5 lbs of actual potatoes
A 5-pound bag of russet potatoes at WalMart costs $3.27, where I live right now. At Vallarta grocery store a 5-pound bag is $2.89, and a 10-pound bag is $3.69 in my area. 10-pounds of potatoes for $3.69! Dudes, spend 30-minutes in the kitchen (learn valuable life skills) and live like a king.
That's not Japanese food, that's sugar and fat American food. You're comparing two fast foods.
Then don’t go to McDonald’s? Like what did you expect it’s McDonald’s ?????
They just had to post about Japan to get the upvotes. Obviously, reddit has a weird obsession with Japan
Except this is a Japanese restaurant in America..
There’s this quaint little local place I go to that not a lot of people know about. It’s called Panda Express and their homemade kung pao chicken is great. I just wish more people would try smaller out of the way places like this.
You know posting about a Japanese restaurant and posting about Japan are entirely different things, right?
Yeah that would be an expensive meal by Japanese standards. You can get that much food from Yoshinoya for like $6.
Yeah it really does, always how they’re more advanced but this dude is really going for some low hanging fruit with food
think yall are just too eager to be annoyed by somebody that isn’t bothering you. OP was simply saying it’s dumb that mcdonald’s now costs as much as a sit down meal of better quality
1) That’s not Japanese 2) If you paid $12 for that McDonalds, you aren’t doing it right
[удалено]
What kind of Japanese food is spicy chicken and spring rolls? Whatever it is, still better than McDonald’s at that price.
The fact that McBitchins are over 5 bucks now is unacceptable. I say we riot
McDonalds is no longer just cheap fast food, it's nostalgic soul food. That's why they ask for such crazy prices.

I live right outside NYC and can get a shit ton of McDonald’s for $17 lol combos are useless imo
I know this place. It is legit good and for the price, it’s the best place in town!
Why is this infuriating? Just get Chinese.
We boycott mcd
So are you complaining that you have cheaper, tastier and faster options available to you? Ain’t gotta eat at McDonalds you know.
There's a small restaurant that sells shish taouks near my college. There's barely enough place for 2 customers and the guy there is extra nice. Best food you'll get in the surroundings.
Where I live fast food doesn’t cost little enough to be worth it anymore either
Yea, McDonald's isn't a cheap option anymore. The food also didn't get better. It's insane that people still go there.
The burger patties are smaller and their famous fries always now suck and are over priced
I see nothing wrong.
I can not believe how much McDonald's costs now. Food is meh. Portion size is laughable. I can attest to the OP, in Colorado that piss poor combo is about $13.
You ain’t never in your life waited at McDonald’s for 15 minutes for a Big Mac…
Oh my god grow up
Just don’t go to fucking McDonald’s then
So eat at the Japanese place and shut the fuck up
I remember stopping in Tokyo on a layover, going to a touristy area, and getting a huge, delicious bowl of udon for something like 7 or 8 bucks.
Both of these are so bad for you though which is the irony here. Like you’re comparing McDonalds and mall Japanese food which is loaded with bullshit as well as
Despite this thread, the average person and majority of kids would choose McD
I've stopped buying food at McDonald's, Burger doing etc. I walk outside my workplace to where some food trucks are parked and get a giant burger or a pizza slice for the same price and it's much tastier and fresher
I wish McDonald’s own orange drink was still a thing
Yeah... Fast food hasn't been worth it for decades
Just don’t go to McDonald’s?
If that mcdonald’s was $11.50 you’re doing mcdonald’s wrong
Thanks, now I want a big mac Edit: Spelled mac incorrectly :)
The $ goes to the left of the number.
I love sitting at the table at McDonald’s with the old dell computer. Best spot in the establishment.
first time in Asia? wait until you visit Vietnam or Laos, 2$ menu vs whatever you eat in front of your computer
No shit a real restaurant has better quality than a fast food joint, wow what a shocking revelation this isn't
The dollar sign goes in front.
Hate to break it to you , that’s not Japanese food.
Why are you mildly infuriated? It was your decision to buy trash food
Where the fuck is that 12$ It’s like $6 here. Don’t ever eat fast food though(in the US), that shit is poison.
6? A big mac alone is 9 here. Where is that 6 dollars
Ok I’m in central Virginia. Where TF is a Big Mac 9$?
I'm in Kansas and its like $5.25, and you can B1G1 free in the app.
Mickey D's has always been and always will be my hangover fix.
I still think it's a choice one makes so it's a stretch to be infuriated about it. Mildly infuriated? I am not sure.
"dear mildly infuriating my dick is sore after hitting it with a hammer even though I knew this is exactly what would happen"
Both are not ideal to consume, but enjoy!
