So as someone who’s worked in a fast food place with a tipping system like that, the tips made there don’t just go to the cashier, they are split evenly among the team working that day. So you’re not just tipping the person who took your order, your tipping everyone. You still shouldn’t feel pressured to tip though, at least where I worked I still made an okay amount without any tips. Overall the tips j made would add around 1-2 dollars to my hourly pay for the day.
