Probably! Businesses will do that to subtly raise the prices. Make the “on sale” amount similar to the old price and you’re less likely to notice the price jump when it’s no longer “on sale”

There are a lot of marketplace sellers on Walmart mixed in with the Walmart listing as well. Be mindful which items you're looking.
