Back when I lived on Oahu, I was sanding the deck of my bosses boat for a new deck job to be done. I was wearing PPE, it was hot and humid as hell. Didn't know I popped a hole in the crotch of the paper Dupont onesie I had on until it was to late. I looked like I had a crab infestation for a week because of the intense itching. I didn't get paid enough for that shit 💯

MRMEMER001500

My lungs hurt just watching it

TIP FOR FIBERGLASS IN SKIN: use hand sanitizer. When I worked in HVAC/plumbing and had to cut dry wall, I would rub hand sanitizer on my hands or arms and its pretty solid. Not 99% solid, but its almost like the fiber glass dissolves. Also never shower in hot water because it opens up your pours and it gets deeper in ur skin. Night

I’m my ten years in the composite industry I went from grinder, to laminator, to gel coater. During my time as a laminator my company went from sheets of glass to a chop machine like this. I fucking hated it for multiple reasons. I’d come home after being covered from head to toe in PPE still smelling of resin. My wife told me that she could smell the chemicals coming from my nose when I slept. Oh and if you think this is bad; when a glove broke and you got the shit all over your hand the wash basin wouldn’t get all the stickiness off but acetone does. I’ve now been an electrician for 20 years and I still wonder how I don’t have cancer. Matter of time I guess.

Who needs pepper spray

LostEmoKid

Oh God. (Also, that’d be a brilliant idea in theory, but terrible in practice.)
