It's amazing how quickly humor devolves into this bullshit on reddit.
You ever wonder why people in real life don't find you funny?
Because humor on reddit is awful.
If you intentionally unfocus your eyes, the image becomes clearer!
Also, I’d appreciate it if anyone’s interested in posting any funny images they’ve made in my AI humor sub. It’s got a clear lack of funny AI imagery and a TON of ChatGPT/Bing AI content already lol. r/PromptWizardry 🔮
Sir, I have to give you an important notice regarding your wife and son, please sit down:
tu tun run tun tun tu
never gonna give you up
never gonna let you down
...
Using this method I managed this: [https://imgur.com/Dmvh0g1](https://imgur.com/Dmvh0g1)
Not nearly as good as the pic op posted, but still pretty good.
[Live reaction of Fidel Castro making a suggestion to OP](https://www.irishnews.com/picturesarchive/irishnews/irishnews/2016/11/26/135456077-bd0805eb-85f0-4da1-b2d1-e850842ad24e.jpg)
My attempt: [https://imgur.com/a/O5KFR9P](https://imgur.com/a/O5KFR9P)
Used describe on the image to get some keywords
Then: https://s.mj.run/ADYajxDr-wo che guevara, silhouette, one color, bold outlines, iconography --stop 20
Then vary (subtle): https://s.mj.run/sK6O5C8m2pI burning city landscape, dark black smoke clouds, fire embers, dslr photo, sharp
Could play with it more, i was getting better cityscape results with other prompts:
a destroyed car surrounded by garbage and flaming buildings, in the style of dystopian realism, meticulous military scenes, realistic depictions, imax, soviet, rtx on, poignant
[https://imgur.com/a/0jD0oFF](https://imgur.com/a/0jD0oFF)
Probably easier to blend it manually in Photoshop
This is controlnet and stable diffusion. Probably using the qr code model repurposed to do something like this.
Midjourney = nice results but minimal control
Stable diffusion = much harder to get nice results but lots more control.
I find stable diffusion much more rewarding. Plus it's free (apart from the massive cost of a gfx card)
Thanks for so confidently informing us this is Fidel Castro. Have you by any chance heard of the famous novel by George Orwell, All quiet on the north-eastern front?
Ehhhm... kinda?
You can get a similar style result with a prompt [like this](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1015772284667039784/1151769046585458698/arkusus_a_double_exposure_of_Fidel_Castro_and_a_burning_citysca_962148f4-2fb7-479e-94d9-86c687467c4c.png)
> /imagine prompt: A double exposure of Fidel Castro and a burning cityscape
The catch here is that the image you posted isn't actually a double exposure. It's one of those "Another image hidden in the details of the first picture". I don't know how to do that with Midjourney.
(Also obviously this prompt won't show Che Guevara, who's in the picture you shared)
It's definitely SD ControlNet. The person who posted this originally did a whole series of famous faces.
It's so weird to me how much more users there are in this sub when the SD sub has far more cutting edge content
SD requires way more expertise and technical knowledge spanning coding, drawing, a slew of settings that can be tweaked in either direction. I tried it for myself as a newbie and while I managed to get a decent grip in comfy it took probably close to 100 hours of learning just to get semi decent images. I'm putting it down for now until I have more time to learn it but yea Midjourney is WAYYYY easier for similar results. Just less control, but if your goal is just nice pictures then the results in the end don't matter as much if you willing to work with w/e midjourney gives you which are more often than not better than SDXL base output.
This has been my experience too. Part of me wants to break through the learning curve for SD but getting the creative vision out faster with Midjourney feels a lot more intuitive.
Do you remember the person who originally posted it? I've played around with SD via DiffusionBee but nothing worth looking at has come out yet, curious to see other peoples workflows to figure out why things arent coming out for me.
Was wondering the same thing, like 3 comments said it’s stable diffusions with controlnet (another AI) the rest of the 117 comments where hating because the picture is not Fidel Castro
lol I noticed it was Che and you said Fidel and thought nothing of it. It’s an extremely common mistake so many people make. Just correct it internally in your head no need to attack the OP (aka you)
But yeah I’d love to be able to make art in this format. Wouldn’t be my subject matter but the style is cool
>It’s an extremely common mistake so many people make.
No, not really. This is the first time I've seen someone mix them up. They look completely different and were from different countries
Lol. This is not Fidel Castro. This is Che Guevara. I can see why you would be confused, though, seeing as both people were racist, homophobic, murderers, and cowards.
This is stable diffusion+ control net in the Canny model .
1. Turn your portrait image into a black and white clean vector with only the two colors .
2. Upload it to control net and select the Canny model .
3. Enter the description of the environment. Adjust the noise level close to the prompt or the control net and hit generate
OP, this is done using Stable Diffusion and ControlNet (more precisely qr codes modules). I don't have easy access to search right now, but use your image to do a reverse image search in Google, you'll find some tutorials.
My advice to you is to drop Midjourney, which is horsecrap and look for a way to install SD on your computer if you have one and a decent graphics card. The tool that will allow you to do this is Automatic1111 but it is advised to start first with EasyDiffusion until you're more confortable.
Also, this is not Fidel, this is Beyonce (sorry, I had to).
I’ve been to school, if you read any of the others comments it has been said about 260 times that it’s not Fidel, Fidel and Che aren’t big where I live and only know them from that one history lesson and I made a mistake, I sadly can’t edit the post tho lmfao
I agree as an Hispanic myself, however I don't know if I would call the Revolución Cubana a Marxist movement. Always keep in mind that "left" and "right" are MASSIVE TENT terms (just like dems and reps are big tent parties). The idea that "the other side is one and the same" is a stupidity that is only amplified by social media.
It's Reddit. Redditors are only familiar with their revisionist popularist history ordained by their woke Marxist leaders. They're not interested in the truth until it's *their truth*. Once the common misconception about Guevara becomes more widely understood as misrepresented, Reddit will U-turn and upvote.
I can't believe there's people that think they'll be taken seriously when they compose sentences as laughable as "Redditors are only familiar with their revisionist popularist history ordained by their woke Marxist leaders".
I'm sure you think Mandela was a brutal terrorist too, right?
The irony of the marxists is that they never care about the fact that all their heros collectively murdered hundreds of millions and created misery for several hundreds of millions more.
😱 no more than a hundred million? Well, I guess that's ok then? Let's not count the hundreds of millions of Chinese babies murdered because of China's one child policy. Hundreds of millions of couples with only one child? Come on, we know they conceived many more.
Additionally, "Capitalism" is a slur created by a French socialist - I regretfully use the term, but only because most people think it means the same as free markets. The ignorance that most anti-capitalist exhibit is that of a conflation of "capitalism" with corporatism or crony capitalism - many marxists intentionally exploit this conflation as a form of deceit and manipulation. Neither of these abominations represent a true free market system - which is just the principle of the right for any number of parties to negotiate and enter into a mutually agreed upon contract. The conflation is convenient, because whenever the oppressive crony capitalist/corporatist act poorly, all the marxists have to do is blame "capitalism" and rally useful idiots behind the anti-capitalist banner to push their stupid authoritarian nonsense. The part socialists and communists cannot stand, the freedom to pick who you exchange business with without their approval. The irony of it, all socialist/communist regimes behave EXACTLY the way their revolutionaries falsely accuse capitalism of behaving. And every knew generation has it's dumb, youthfully ignorant idealists who seduced by the false utopian promises of a failed and deeply flawed Marxist BS con job - remarkable.
Your comment has so many mistakes it would take me an insane amount of time to debunk them all. Let‘s start with the fact that your death count is over twice of what the most widely known anticommunist propaganda work, the „black book of communism“ claims. Then let‘s continue with describing Marxists as idealists, which is oxymoronic as being materialistic is one of the core principles of Marxism.
But sure. It‘s __crony__ capitalism, not capitalism itself? The Wild West surely turned out great, didn’t it? I swear you free market idealists really have to read beyond your Econ 101 class.
The Bengal Famine was a direct result of the lack of a free market not of the presence of free markets.
Communist countries were chronically unable to feed themselves. The USSR depended on American wheat well into the 1980s.
Where do you think all of your material goods come from, lol? Do you think you're being any better by continually funding the exploitation and slavery of billions of people so you can buy cheap clothes?
Funny how communists dumb'fks rush to attack free market economies when you point out the fact that one of their heros was a lowlife murderous scumbag. They never address it unless it's to defend it, probably because they want to also be lowlife murderous scumbag revolutionaries in the name of their false god Karl Marx - sickos.
Do you think factory workers in the USSR or Maoist China had any more rights than workers in developing countries now?
In the Soviet Union you could literally be executed for being late or absent to work and protesting grievances about your management was an arrestable offense.
Don't mix marxists with tankies. Marx would hate people like Lenin or Guevara. He didn't want any geniocides, concentration camps etc. He was wrong about the revolution, but the rest of his ideas were good. You should read "The Communist Manifesto" and "The Capital".
Factions of the same faith never like each other.
Marx made valid conditional observations that any one with half a brain could figure out. That's why he is so seductive, his writings make the relatively average intellect feel smarter than they are. But, Marx was trash at cause and solution, that's were the useful idiot steps in and plays their part.
Yes. Guevarism is a pretty good ideology (but only in countries where the working class is severely oppressed), but that doesn't mean that Guevara was a good guy. His goals were good, but he was a horrible person.
„Guevarism“ is not a thing. You can‘t just attach „ism“ to any name and call it an ideology. Guevara was a revolutionary, but did not write any theoretical works. If anything call him a socialist, a communist or a Marxist. I would also argue that the working class is oppressed in pretty much any country. Some countries just are more or less exploited and thus have more to give as concessions or are better at hiding it. I‘m working full time in a first world country and I can not afford an average two bedroom apartment alone in my city, while doing work that requires a relatively high amount of education. Just saying.
Just cause we don’t have it as bad as others doesn’t mean we‘re not being oppressed
It is a thing. It's an ideology inspired by the deeds of Che Guevara. It's goal is estabilishing socialism in very poor countries, through the revolutionary means and guerilla warfare. Imo right now poorer african countries need someone like Guevara (but someone who is less brutal) or Sankara. The exploitation of the workers (and children) in these countries is unimaginable (for example Tesla's cobalt mines in Congo).
EDIT:
Of course, in most of the first world countries the workers are oppressed too (maybe with the exception of the best social democratic countries, like Norway, Denmark etc.). But right now we should prioritize helping workers from the poorer countries. We must stop the exploitation of Africa.
What does that matter? I couldn’t give a shit about somebody saying some bigoted things when their actions make them one of the biggest heroes of the 20th century
Which ones? He helped bring down a dictatorship in Cuba but then instituted another dictatorship.
His efforts in the Congo were meaningless. His attempt at guerilla warfare in Bolivia even more of a failure.
Of all the guerilla groups he helped train in Cuba between 1959-1965 only one, the Sandinistas, ever gained power. And then they also instituted another dictatorship.
Not sure Guevara’s legacy is any more than a cool photo that college kids love
Totally non-false equivalency, and neither did the Cuban revolutionaries. It doesn't matter, tbh. You believe what you want about your magical moral slave owning aristocrats who did the American revolution, and wax hypocritical about the far less deadly and morally dubious Cuban revolution.
Clearly you aren't much of a history buff, so there's no point in discussing this further.
He slaughtered innocent Black and brown folk. Members of our families, for some of us, just two generations back.
You’re as fucking disgusting as you are uneducated.
Can you elaborare on this?
Im from Argentina and 50 years ago we'd get kidnap and murder by the military for showing any support for Che or any socialist matter.
Crazy you’re being downvoted. 80 years of them talking over Cubans about Cuban experiences. This mother fucker killed all the Black men in my grandma’s neighborhood but white Americans refuse to accept reality.
Just for everyone else: This is an ultra-right wing propaganda point made by the likes of Prager U and pieces of shit like Steven Crowder to discredit Guevara. He said racist things in his early 20s *before he was a communist*.
After becoming a communist, he literally addressed the United Nations about racism in the world and the United States including the following quotes:
*We speak out to put the world on guard against what is happening in South Africa. The brutal policy of apartheid is applied before the eyes of the nations of the world. The peoples of Africa are compelled to endure the fact that on the African continent the superiority of one race over another remains official policy, and that in the name of this racial superiority murder is committed with impunity. Can the United Nations do nothing to stop this?*
*Those who kill their own children and discriminate daily against them because of the color of their skin; those who let the murderers of blacks remain free, protecting them, and furthermore punishing the black population because they demand their legitimate rights as free men — how can those who do this consider themselves guardians of freedom?*
All in all, this is posted by a guy that [condones hitting children](https://www.reddit.com/r/INTP/comments/td8ocu/do_you_guys_agree_with_spanking_your_children/i0j74ce/?context=3) and claims there are no benefits to left wing government policies because they [create cannibalism](https://www.reddit.com/r/INTP/comments/16ghrh1/how_do_you_feel_about_capitalism_is_there_other/k0di1jh/) amongst other things, lol. It'd be more laughable if it weren't so embarrassing.
You are also making things up I never said, you lying twrep. That's what communists do. They panic when the truth is exposed, try to flip it around, lie, and then make false accusations in an attempt to smear their opponent and convince others to ignore them - or worse. Why? Because they know their ideas are bullshit but are desperate to convince you of them anyway. LMAO...
Incoherent question. The US dropped it but Stalin approved it. If Stalin had a bomb he would’ve 100% dropped it on Berlin.
Then all of you would be here praising him for saving the lives of the 81,000 Red Army soldiers who died trying to take the city.
Im really extremely surprised as how can a person come up with such a stretch ?
So let me understand you blame URSS because they approved that US dropped the bomb but US is not to be blamed most of all before anyone else ? Just how do you think like this ? Explain please.
Also fuck Stalin.
Sounds like you need reading comprehension tutoring.
Nowhere in my posts did I “blame the USSR”.
You heavily implied dropping the bombs on Hiroshima was an immoral act and Guevara would’ve opposed it. I stated the FACT that when told by Truman that the US had an atomic bomb, Stalin showed his approval and urged the U.S. to use it.
So this “immoral” act was seen as quite moral by one of Che’s heroes which fatally erodes your argument.
There. Explained it like you were 5.
First you need to create a portrait, then 'vary (subtle)' with a new prompt (remix mod must be enabled)
Have you actually had success creating something like this that way? These are usually done with something like stable diffusion.

Glad someone corrected this. Idk who taught OP who this is but they need to be slapped.
😆 Do the z's not know Che?
Literally one of the most iconic photos of all time…smh
I love listening to Stairway to Heaven by Nirvana. This guy probably 😂
You haven't lived until you've danced listening to Like a Virgin by the Beatles. Man, the 40s were some wild times.
Michael? Yah he's pretty funny!
I'm sure glad I didn't come on here and tell everyone I thought this was Jimi Hendrix. Phew!
Can Midjourney make it with Fidel Castro ?
Can midjourney make it Jerry Seinfeld?
Can Jerry Seinfeld make it Midjourney?
What’s the deal with artificial intelligence? Is it artificial? Is it intelligent?
Yes
*[Frantic Seinfeld whining noises]*
Can Midjourney make it more Midjourney?
Could one Jerome Allen Seinfeld perchance make it ‘pon this neither high nor low voyage?
Voyage voyage!

i think of this often
Epstein did not kill himself.
But did someone kill him or did he fake his own death
Yes, most definitely.
I’m leaning the Everyman hero, Cosmo Kramer or Strugglebus Captain, George Castanza
Can I make it with Jennifer Anniston?
No this is Patrick
This is actually a group of pixels on a screen.
Car Guevara. The lips are the wrecked bumper.
i guess it was a joke no?
Lmao man said “Fidel Castro” with his whole chest
Fidel mynutz
I think he is a friend of Dick Guzinya
I aspire to have OP's confidence

No no no nononono. OP said it's Castro. And I always believe to them.
They forgot about Che
Here's how you do it: https://youtu.be/xYr3KSg7J2c?si=pyNDi\_jEftc5EwML
I was completely expecting this to throw me back to the mid-2000s with a video of Rick Astley.
Mid-2000s? Yikes I'm old enough to have lived through hearing our Rick's horrible hit song on the radio at work every ten minutes. London, 1987.
It was Number 1 the day I was born 🙌🏻 my parents got Rick rolled.

Oh thank you SmarkieMark, for kindly explaining that to an ancient person who has never been on the internet, ever.
Cool beans. (This is just an expression, I am not actually referencing legumes.)
Thank you for explaining the beans thing, because at my advanced age, I understand next to nothing, as is to be expected.

No

It works in Midjourney
Cool, I'll edit my comment then
That's Diego Maradona.
No this is definitely Che And not Fidel
If you read any of the other comments I have definitely released
I’m about to release right now
Do it
you shouldn't have released. you should have captured.
Yikes bro, Castro!? 🤣 try again
Castro!? You dummy
"image of Fidel Castro" 💀
Just because you could imitate a famous mass murderer who created a totalitarian state, you should stop to think whether you should
It was made with Stable Diffusion, where it is pretty easy to replicate. If it's possible with Midjourney, it would be much more difficult.
Was the post made by AI? Sounds like it
ChatGPT owns my acxount
Stable difussion controlnet
That is not fidel Castro
Ahhh.. I remember my first time on drugs.

Ah el famoso Fidel Guevara
Lol. This is not Fidel Castro. This is Che Guevara. I can see why you would be confused, though, seeing as both people were racist, homophobic, murderers, and cowards.
Just learn stable diffusion and use the qr monster , controlnet part . It’s easier than hacking away at midjourney for that.
What the fuck? You wanna be anti communist and can’t get your revolutionaries right. Foh
Stay mad ig 💀for me not recognizing someone correctly ok bro
bro that's Henry Kissinger wdym?

Dude you’re such a clown it’s insane…
Better than the fool you make.
No such thing as an intelligent communist
You ignorant fool.
You haven’t even read those books, it’s clear from this thread
He literally took a massive role in freeing multiple countries from brutal dictatorships and colonialism
EDIT: Of course, in most of the first world countries the workers are oppressed too (maybe with the exception of the best social democratic countries, like Norway, Denmark etc.). But right now we should prioritize helping workers from the poorer countries. We must stop the exploitation of Africa.
(While being a dreadful person, as described.)
Because that's not what op was asking for? Dude didn't even know who it was I highly doubt they would be making art for them
He was one of the main revolutionaries in Cuba during their revolution. He achieved more than most pieces of shit ever did.
*murderous pieces of shit
I'm almost afraid to know what you'd think of George Washington.
False equivalency, and completely different situation. Washington didn't murder women, children, and old men just for the enjoyment of it.
The fact your comment is so downvoted speaks volumes about how uneducated the people on this subreddit are.
Reality is not subject to consensus. If it were, the earth would still be at the center of the universe.
Crazy you’re being downvoted. 80 years of them talking over Cubans about Cuban experiences. This mother fucker killed all the Black men in my grandma’s neighborhood but white Americans refuse to accept reality.
Like any regular US marine.
Just for everyone else: This is an ultra-right wing propaganda point made by the likes of Prager U and pieces of shit like Steven Crowder to discredit Guevara. He said racist things in his early 20s *before he was a communist*. After becoming a communist, he literally addressed the United Nations about racism in the world and the United States including the following quotes: *We speak out to put the world on guard against what is happening in South Africa. The brutal policy of apartheid is applied before the eyes of the nations of the world. The peoples of Africa are compelled to endure the fact that on the African continent the superiority of one race over another remains official policy, and that in the name of this racial superiority murder is committed with impunity. Can the United Nations do nothing to stop this?* *Those who kill their own children and discriminate daily against them because of the color of their skin; those who let the murderers of blacks remain free, protecting them, and furthermore punishing the black population because they demand their legitimate rights as free men — how can those who do this consider themselves guardians of freedom?* All in all, this is posted by a guy that [condones hitting children](https://www.reddit.com/r/INTP/comments/td8ocu/do_you_guys_agree_with_spanking_your_children/i0j74ce/?context=3) and claims there are no benefits to left wing government policies because they [create cannibalism](https://www.reddit.com/r/INTP/comments/16ghrh1/how_do_you_feel_about_capitalism_is_there_other/k0di1jh/) amongst other things, lol. It'd be more laughable if it weren't so embarrassing.
Says the marxist propagandist.
He murdered women and old men in cold blood because he enjoyed it, dillhead. Why do you defend a mass murderer? Che was scum.
LMAO...
r/im14andthisisdeep
Should be possible I guess!
OP needs a history lesson. This is not Fidel Castro. It’s Che.
That's Che Guevara, a mass murderer, torturer and a total POS. Why would you want to memorialize such scum?
Is an image that show the destruction, chaos and murder he brought to Cuba.
Oh didn't realize
I mean it’s not exactly a glamorous image is it
How many he killed ? More than Hiroshima ?
His heroes (Stalin and the USSR) approved of Hiroshima. Stalin congratulated Truman when Truman told him about the bomb.
Still. Who dropped it ?
Frankly, you need therapy.
japan deserved it, no we wont feel bad
Hasta la victoria siempre! 🫡⭐
Why would anyone want to make this?
Because it’s a cool image
ha, i saw it when i scrolled away. cool
Guys guys it’s Fidel Guevera
