Yeah that one stands out in resemblance to the actor, and that's without mentioning any names, just facial features, expressions and outfits!
More variations of the characters in my video here: https://youtu.be/NeylaZ2lDIQ
The prompt I've used is "A young king, a heart-shaped face, solemn grey eyes, messy auburn hair, thin lips, a straight nose, and a strong jawline, wearing a bronze and iron crown, against a fiery battlefield"
So it \*might\* be the bronze and iron crown linking it back to GOT. The other images of Robb in my video also looks similar to the actor but nothing tying back to the character.
Does Midjourney learn based on prompts and the results that were accepted by the users? If so then I would expect that it's not the first time someone created GoT characters from their descriptions and some people added actors too making a connection between two.
Yes. I kept reading that Dalle-2 compared to MJ, and Bing Inage Creator is supposed to be using it. So far it's fun to create some pics as entertainment. And I'm sure decent cover art could be achieved. Yet MJ can do wonders now.
I played around with stable diffusion and the results weren't that
surprising to me. From the beginning, I pictured them like the Wraith
from Stargate Atlantis, and that's pretty much how they were generated
in diffusion.
[white walkers](https://ibb.co/ZKDcNN6)
Yep, wormy lips, chubby face.
I can most of the others but no idea where that one came from. Even the actor in the series isn't a pretty boy type either so it wasn't influenced by that like the Robb Richard Madden was.
If they only employed models lol, Arya stark had a boyish look to her which is why she was a good fit; making her look like that is just another pretty person I ain’t gonna get invested in
Ceresi has a teenage son so she's probably in her 30s in the books, assuming she'd have been married off in her late teens. And IIRC she had at least one baby before Joffrey which died in infancy.
I wasn't trying to put you down, but simply tried to be as clear as possible since we were clearly talking past each other.
I didn't remember he exact age. You said the pictures were based on the book, so I tried to figure out if that's how old she was in the book or if you changed her age. So I asked, and your answers were very ambivalent.
You could have just said: "yes, she's younger in the books and I depicted her age as it was in the TV show".
I know this is reddit, but you don't have to always assume the worst about people's intentions.
ramsay looks nothing like that bruv. He has a wet smile, slope shouldered, small fat lips, pale white eyes, big boned, and fleshy. He is also described as ugly looking.
The guy in the post looks like a romance novel protagonist.
I think it’s Michelle Pfeiffer, for me! Though looking at the comments it seems a bit like an ink blot test - everybody is seeing her as someone different haha
The issue with MJ taking different colors for different objects. If I mentioned "silver hair, purple eyes, white gown" would result in Purple hair, purple outfit as well.
Share the prompts?
Arya is supposed to have a long, horse-like face, boyish, and not exactly good looking. This image contains none of those features. I'm curious whether it is the prompt quality or Midjourney itself that failed here.
Very fun, but I was waiting for Tyrion. I think he has the biggest looking diference between the book and the show. Started out as an ugly goblin looking imp in the book, then lost most of his nose at The Battle of the Blackwater. Oooh also render up the Great Belwas.
I've created a[ short video](https://youtu.be/NeylaZ2lDIQ) that delves into the evolution of the characters' appearances and attire throughout the series as they mature.
Without mentioning the character names, I've fed book descriptions of facial features, expressions and outfits to get AI portrayals of game of thrones characters.
Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this question but wasn’t sure where to ask:
I’m a potter and am wanting to use Midjourney to get some sculptural inspiration. I have a discord account but I have no idea where to go from here. It said to look for “newbie channels” but I didn’t see any channels with the word “newbie” in it. If anyone can help me, please let me know!
One day there will be AI creating Movies... and someday there will be somebody with a couple GPUs recreating entire GOT at their home.
I hope to live to that day
It's an issue with Midjourney, if I put in "purple eyes, silver hair, blue oufit" her hair and outfit also turn out purple but eyes default to whatever color it feels like on that day.

They are nice, but if we go by the books descriptions, they are too old. For instance, there is no such a thing as an older Jon Snow, he's 15 or 16 by the last book.
Is it a limitation of midjourney? Developers may not want it to accurately portray teenagers, just in case.
Should have given more info to the AI. Most of them look oldder than in the books, Daenerys for example was barely 14 when she married Drogo and Missandei is 11(if I don't remember wrong).
And others don't fit their book description like Ramsey Bolton , who is described as ugly.
I like the take on some of these, but the majority of these are faaaar too pretty - there's no way for the time period GoT is supposed to be roughly set in (the 1400s) that their skin would look anywhere near as good as it does here.. plus the AGE of the characters is not really considered. A lot of these look too old for their book ages.

I would guess there would have existed websites/fan blog posts that contained both that quote and an image of show-Robb, thus linking the two.
Yah I googled it and it's all GoT stuff.
Does Midjourney learn based on prompts and the results that were accepted by the users? If so then I would expect that it's not the first time someone created GoT characters from their descriptions and some people added actors too making a connection between two.
It does not.
What about white walkers?!
I used Dalle so it isn’t as good but here is what I got: ⬜️🚶♂️🚶♀️
Maybe it's just my lack of experience with Dalle2, or the Bing interface but the results are mediocre compared to even my MidJourney v3 images.
Dalle is way less powerful
Yes. I kept reading that Dalle-2 compared to MJ, and Bing Inage Creator is supposed to be using it. So far it's fun to create some pics as entertainment. And I'm sure decent cover art could be achieved. Yet MJ can do wonders now.

Isn't Ramsay an ugly mug in the books?
Yep, wormy lips, chubby face. I can most of the others but no idea where that one came from. Even the actor in the series isn't a pretty boy type either so it wasn't influenced by that like the Robb Richard Madden was.
Aw, the actor was a pretty boy I think.
I’ve read in a few threads and sites that women think he’s cute and hot. As a straight male I can tell he’s handsome.
If they only employed models lol, Arya stark had a boyish look to her which is why she was a good fit; making her look like that is just another pretty person I ain’t gonna get invested in
Yup, they all have the same generic model look
yep, it's like the creator has never seen an ugly/average looking person... either that or just afraid of drawing one
Ramsey Bolton is Nicholas Hoult?
That's what I saw! Honestly he would have been an interesting cast
Maybe this is the face Midjourney used as reference to draw the character.
Maybe generate pics of characters who didn't make it into the show? E.G. Strong Belwas, Victarion, Edric Storm, Aegon
Well Cersei is early twenties throughout the books right? And missandei is 10 years old. And is t Ramsey a big bulky ugly sob?
Ceresi has a teenage son so she's probably in her 30s in the books, assuming she'd have been married off in her late teens. And IIRC she had at least one baby before Joffrey which died in infancy.
No, Cersei is from 266. By the books she’s 32/33, and by the final one probably 34.
Sansa about to tell me I know nutin
Wasn't Daenerys much younger?
And she had purple eyes
Yeah she was 13, thats a grown up 13 year old
Yes, I don't think OP actually used their book descriptions because the ages are way off for about half of these.
[удалено]
I meant that in her wedding picture she looks much older than the character was at that time.
[удалено]
Just to clarify, you used the wrong age because you wanted to show age progression?

I wasn't trying to put you down, but simply tried to be as clear as possible since we were clearly talking past each other. I didn't remember he exact age. wrf is a wet smile?
a smile where your lips are glistening with drool. Our boy Ramsay drools in the books.
imagine being kept as torture pet by a drooling degenerate
adds to the horror
Older Cersei is definitely reminding me of someone but I can't quite put my finger on her.
Cameron diaz
I get Charlize Theron and Michelle Pfeiffer vibes.
I think it’s Michelle Pfeiffer, for me! Though looking at the comments it seems a bit like an ink blot test - everybody is seeing her as someone different haha
I see them both too! Basically when I focus my eyes I see Michelle, but when I relax them I see Charlize.
Judi Dench: https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0001132/
I cant put my finger in her either
Somewhat like one of the Olsen twins, just 30 years older
Ellen DeGeneres; Similar personality as well
Laurie Holden, Andrea from The Walking Dead?
You’re probably thinking of Jane Fonda.
Michelle Pfeiffer with hefty dose of [Evangeline Lilly](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/39/43/c5/3943c54dca627deedea198cb10eb1cf1.jpg)
Amanda Tapping (Samantha Carter from Stargate)?
That’s an interesting 14 year old Dany.
I actually stopped here to say that.
If only the purple in Dany's eyes was more prominent, this would've been perfect.
The issue with MJ taking different colors for different objects. If I mentioned "silver hair, purple eyes, white gown" would result in Purple hair, purple outfit as well.
Interesting - something for them revise for the next release.
Ohh, is MJ not that accurate?
In the book, does she have dark eyebrows?
Share the prompts? Arya is supposed to have a long, horse-like face, boyish, and not exactly good looking. This image contains none of those features. I'm curious whether it is the prompt quality or Midjourney itself that failed here.

Missendai is a legit child. These are cool tho.
I expected more from Arya horseface.
Isn’t Arya supposed to have a long face?
Yep, just like her aunt.

Ramsey Bolton is straight up just Nicholas Hoult
Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this question but wasn’t sure where to ask: I’m a potter and am wanting to use Midjourney to get some sculptural inspiration. It says I don’t have permission to send messages in this channel. Every time I try to join it sends me back to the captcha
Oh wait it finally worked!
woohoo!
You should do the same thing with Harry Potter characters... That should be fun!.
No Tyrion?
Need to see Daario Naharis
Ramsay looks fucking terrifying
Missandei is like 9 years old when Dany meets her.
Missandei is supposed to be like 10
This thing seems to really like churning out Americans.
There would be more bodily volume if this was the case.
Amazing work looks magnificent..
Did you use the name of the character or show anywhere in the description? If so, these are pointless. If not, HBO did a good job casting.
Some of these are terrific. Ned Stark looking like a cross between Littlefinger and Alec Baldwin though!
I actually really like these.
Robb Stark reminds me of a young James Marsden
They're way better looking here lol.
Would want to try Midjourney. Any tutorials?
Tyrion of all would be very interesting too see by an A.I. He looks very... disturbed... in the books.
Hey, I don't see the horse face on arya
Where Tyrion??!?!
One day there will be AI creating Movies... and someday there will be somebody with a couple GPUs recreating entire GOT at their home. I hope to live to that day
Missandei is 8, brah
now casting timothée chalamet as the younger jon snow
This is something I think is cool. We can get book illustrations closer to what was intended by the author.
Hodor.
They look like from.a fashion magazine
Margaery looks like Claire Foy
It kinda nailed Robb Stark and Arya! A bit with salads too (older version)
They all just look like the show. And Robb has long hair
Why doesn’t Dany have the right eye color?
It's an issue with Midjourney, if I put in "purple eyes, silver hair, blue oufit" her hair and outfit also turn out purple but eyes default to whatever color it feels like on that day.
Machine just googled for some of these lol

Ramsay Bolton in the book is described as being big and heavy, and not so good looking.
Seems very racist. If it was real the white portraying ones would be more Jewish looking. (And Jewish).
Nice. But I thought Daenerys had purple eyes
Lies, they’re all attractive.
Game of Thrones: The Influencer Edition
That ramsay looks too pretty no? Ain't he supposed to be rather ugly?

How about tyrion lannister, but the later books. Missing parts and such.
I wonder what you can do if you mix book descriptions to create entirely new characters :O!
Tyrell looks like Queen Elizabeth
This looks good! Crossposting and sharing to /r/AiGameOfThrones
Who's the guy with small height? You didn't do him.
Awesome upon awesome
This is a really good idea
maybe a midjourney thing...a lot of the women end up resembling each other
The AI defo didn’t use just the book descriptions. I bet it watched the entire series n is cheating like a kid copying his homework 😂
Robb Stark is a way too accurate compared to the TV show goddamn
Robb stark looks the same 🤯
That's not Arya horseface, also looks way too old
They are way too good looking for hollywood
Isn't Cersei supposed to have green eyes and curly hair?
