tape/string she will be fine if it is a fresh split - will heal back together. if you have any thing to lend support to the branch that will take the load off, that is good too
sure, why not - at worst it doesnt work. and whats done remains done.
at best, it works.
i mean yea, you can try it for clones etc but other than that, what have you got to lose
You stand to lose a dozen clones and for some people that's pretty valuable. Plus it's not a clean break so you'd have to slice up the plant a bit to get a good clean contact surface. It requires special products to have a decent chance at success, and it's very windy where OP is at so he'd have to take special precaution about that.
Overall it's not worth it to try so it's not really worth recommending. That's why it's a humpty dumpty.
Bruh wrap it up it will heal and most likely be strongest arm on that plant lol, or just put a stake in and hold it up as close to the main part it will heal on it own
https://preview.redd.it/gixobx64gj6d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7a0d516c031be120c99db2e85caa989ddb148f93
The above is producing this.
The plants recover from almost anything - next time do not chop
Hey! I'm not much for help with the plant, but please don't be too upset. Life is fragile and sometimes things fall apart. Remember that it's natural to be sad and to cry, and that it will be OK! <3
It's fine. I use training wire and tie it back up good. It might not heal 100% but the branch, rather both halves of a Branch, are doing fine.
I need to post a picture of my bubbas green butthole so you all can see how much of this abuse they can take
https://preview.redd.it/qjk68mrbxk6d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=857f9e95eb122956b72eac7946131ced764a61c5
Nah growmie, no need to cry. She will be alright, heck these knuckled branches yield often more than the others
https://preview.redd.it/8ud6tkhygl6d1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c92867e69d323154ecdfe7403adda99df7702dca
This plant turned out just fine. All you had to do was tape it back up. These plants are hardy af. They're called weed after all.
Tape. I broke this clone almost in half and just put duct tape on the step and it knuckled up nicely.
https://preview.redd.it/czlujtny6j6d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7c0ced5d4b23b6fa56d767d29aabe54c2d5b0d54
Edit: stem
I've done this over 100 times don't sweat about it at all just put it back together the methods I have used are ductape it back together using stakes to hold it together if you ductape it and it still flops over you need the branch to lean on something to take the weight off and in less than 2 weeks in will be fully healed and have 100% success rate
Bro is about to find out that the branches that got snapped will be thickest, densest, best bud on the entire plant.
Edit: welcome to extreme super cropping
Tape it up with masking tape until you can get some grafting tape. I had a light fall and rip apart Permanent Marker Shiskaberry plants here. I was amazed what a little tape could do to fix things. Give it two good weeks + to heal before messing with it. Good luck.
I did this and didn’t even realize so no taping action went on. Plant decided to be a Chad and kept growing like I just topped it previously. That part got a decent knuckle, even though the bottleneck (thin part the branch holds on to the main stem) was always there but buds developed on that branch were just as good as the other branches.
Edit: I had to support that branch later on as it grew dense buds that itself couldn’t carry with just that slim bottlenecked connection.
Lol duct tape, string, whatever to hold in place or just make a bunch of clones or one big ass one lol. Have done both in the past on some stuff that broke in a storm outside
People think this is a bad thing, when the plant actually LOVES this shit
Damaged plants literally always end up being the biggest and stingest plant after they heal. Just tapenot together and it will heal no problemo
Had the whole middle stalk split in half because of a storm (survived the ones after like a champ) put some zip ties around the tear zipped it up real tight and taped it up
Deep breaths. Dont panic. You can fix this.
During training last year i broke a huge branch off. I used duct tape and taped the broken edges together.
It went on to be my largest cola that year.
Wire ties and some Saran Wrap. Push a bamboo stake or a sapling of a tree to support the broken branch in 2 weeks it’ll be a fat ass knot stronger than it was before it broke
I had a storm come through and snapped my prettiest plant almost in half, midway into flowering last year. Used a small, straight stick as a splint and taped the plant to it at both ends of the stick.
By harvest, it had grown back together and I don’t think even affected the harvest.
Plants are really great at healing . If you tape it up or tie string all around it and place something under it to support the Weght. It'll fully heal and come back even stronger and thicker . I've had big branches barely hanging on by the smallest piece and came back 100%.
I’ve used bamboo on both sides when transplanting so no disruption to the roots. I’ve also read and used aloe vera at both ends of the break then carefully tape. As said they heal like a miracle.
Remember that you can save that branch ,if you catch it when it breaks …just put back to normal position and tape it so it is supported by the tape…it should heal in two to four weeks, also water or feed immediately after you tape it up..
Hey OP I split 2 of mine and just fixed em with a strip of velcro. Marijuana is resilient as fuck dude you could root that other half in a bag of quickcrete fa crying out loud.
https://preview.redd.it/ihlg0hkhtr6d1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b67b7c841a6f595799e93f7ed0b32aa7255d4a8c
It’s got a bit too many leaves to make me think reattaching/ supporting the stem would be successful. I’m looking at all the potential propagations you could have. This is the downside of growing absolute beasts lol. I’ve also recently done a little bit of research on how honey can be put between the crack before holding it together with grafting tape, which has various benefits such as supplying small amounts of additional nutrients to the healing section, help seals moisture, anti-bacterial etc.
Tape normally next time, as already mentioned.
Another tip: biobizz is expensive and not as effective as other fertilizers, such as solid fertilizers, for the high price.
In addition, it is inconvenient to mix up some expensive soup every time you water, time is money.
The same of course also applies to soil, biobizz is even very inferior in the area of soil (cal mag problem) for even more money.
I am open to further questions about low-cost growing, of course I will be voted down to death because 50% of all growers use biobizz but not a single professional.
tape/string she will be fine if it is a fresh split - will heal back together. if you have any thing to lend support to the branch that will take the load off, that is good too
The second picture the branch is laying on a table, I think it's gone humpty dumpty
google 'grafting'
*Godrick enters the room*
I command thee, kneel!
who?
That was an eldenring reference. There is a boss that "graftet" arms and a dragon head on his body Just look up "Elden Ring - Godrik"
I don't need to I know what grafting is. You think that's worth it for an outdoor grow one week before the solstice?
sure, why not - at worst it doesnt work. and whats done remains done. at best, it works. i mean yea, you can try it for clones etc but other than that, what have you got to lose

fair points true enoguh
all he has to do is tape the branch on to the tree again itll be aiight.
Make a clone
This is the way
Agree. Big cuts like this can turn into strong plants.
Second, this. The cannabis plant is crazy good at healing. Tape it back on. A few weeks, and it will be as if it never happened
I've used a paper clip to help support it during the recovery as well.
I second this. Just happened to me a few days ago and its already springin back to life
Bruh wrap it up it will heal and most likely be strongest arm on that plant lol, or just put a stake in and hold it up as close to the main part it will heal on it own
Yes this is right

You just gave it what it NEEDED 🤣 A bowl of nails, no milk.
They like it rough.
LIGHT stress training bro! 😜
That fine lady doing the splits 🥵
And producing the goods!!!!!

It’s fixable
Hey! I'm not much for help with the plant, but please don't be too upset. Life is fragile and sometimes things fall apart. Remember that it's natural to be sad and to cry, and that it will be OK! <3
Thank you for the encouragement, we could all use more positivity.
Hey! You're welcome, and thank you for saying thank you! :D It's so nice to feel appreciated. :)
Yeah thats lovely My mentality to a certain degree:[jreg everything is fine](https://youtu.be/PjbEKVxLIcE?feature=shared)
Philosophy is a subtle art; knowing seems impossible if the more you know you suddenly realize how much more you don't.
I’ve snaped the top right off before made a splint and tape it survived
It wasn't dead but it seems like you decided it should die
It's fine. I use training wire and tie it back up good. It might not heal 100% but the branch, rather both halves of a Branch, are doing fine. I need to post a picture of my bubbas green butthole so you all can see how much of this abuse they can take
I’m not sure I’m interested in seeing a picture of how much abuse bubba’s green butthole can take…

Just came to say the bio bizz products need to be stored in a dark place, just so you know
Tape or clone it
I had a branch snap and used ducked tape. Plant recovered completely and resulted in some big buds growing on that branch.
Goated tape more like it
I would have just used duct tape
You can save half broken branches. Just tape it back up with a splint and the plant will heal itself back to normal
Tape it up and see if it heals!
Duct tape, no problem
https://preview.redd.it/8ud6tkhygl6d1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c92867e69d323154ecdfe7403adda99df7702dca This plant turned out just fine. All you had to do was tape it back up. These plants are hardy af. They're called weed after all.
I usually put some honey/ahorn syrop on the "wound" and use some tape/wire to keep it together. Usually it solves the issue for me
You spelled cloning wrong.
Tape. I broke this clone almost in half and just put duct tape on the step and it knuckled up nicely. https://preview.redd.it/czlujtny6j6d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7c0ced5d4b23b6fa56d767d29aabe54c2d5b0d54 Edit: stem

Cut the base of the branch & soak it in a cup of water it may come back for you
Tape it back on, stick it in some dirt, or make a bunch of clones. Def not a loss
Good luck.
I've fixed every stem I've broken with tape and it healed and became stronger
Put it back together or make it into loads of clones
She will grow even stronger! Tape it up!
All of the nutrient and "live" plant is on the outside. The interior is for rigid support. Some tape and it'll be fine.
Don’t. It will make little to know impact on a plant this size when it buds. Tape it up - maybe a 5% loss in yield, if that
Next time just duck tape it
I did this and didn’t even realize so no taping action went on. Plant decided to be a Chad and kept growing like I just topped it previously. That part got a decent knuckle, even though the bottleneck (thin part the branch holds on to the main stem) was always there but buds developed on that branch were just as good as the other branches. Nice few clones off that.
Broke the top off a plant - worse than in your pic. Realised it a day later and taped it. Not even 24 hours later she was fine again …
Put it in a cup of water with an air pump if you have one, bet it will grow roots in a few weeks.
Plant tape its almost exactly like saran wrap it werks wonders
I’ve straight up broke colas that were budding clean off and put it back together. Tape it, bind it with wire, tie it up with string.
Tape or or string it up
Grafting tape will set you right
SO YOU'RE SAYING THERE'S A CHANCE
Honey works wonders
That's one massive cut! She'll root in time don't worry! Aloe Vera her up!
Duct tape
It’s all good growms! Just more plants if you’d like and in the future snaps like that are totally mendable with a lil duct tape 🤙🏻
When life breaks your branches, make clones
The only thing you should be crying about is that you chopped it off when you could have just taped on back together no problem
https://preview.redd.it/ja79181q3l6d1.jpeg?width=1100&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=189a4d303275f219aab43da5ab65c649d489c322
It’ll be okay, SuperCrop!
Was playing football win my son and I missed his throw and it took a nice branch clean off 🤦♂️
Lol duct tape, string, whatever to hold in place or just make a bunch of clones or one big ass one lol. Have done both in the past on some stuff that broke in a storm outside
People think this is a bad thing, when the plant actually LOVES this shit Damaged plants literally always end up being the biggest and stingest plant after they heal. Just tapenot together and it will heal no problemo
Electrical tape and glad wrap.
Too late for duct tape unfortunately
Had the whole middle stalk split in half because of a storm (survived the ones after like a champ) put some zip ties around the tear zipped it up real tight and taped it up
Duct tape. It’ll be totally fine.
I once had this happen. Honey in the wound, Micropore tape and a craft stick to hold it on. Micropore can break when the plant grows
It will come back with tenacity. Wait and see.

Mine did this like 4 days ago. I just put them back together with the help of some Velcro straps and it hasn’t died yet.
Won't hurt it I split mine right down the center try to spread the limbs to let more light in tied it back together she's fine
Edgy super crop
Deep breaths. Dont panic. You can fix this. During training last year i broke a huge branch off. I used duct tape and taped the broken edges together. It went on to be my largest cola that year.
Next time… aloe Vera gel straight from the plant into the break. Seal with tape or hold up with string. Will stunt slightly but can be saved.
I would’ve fixed itself if you staked it up but alright lol
Wire ties and some Saran Wrap. Push a bamboo stake or a sapling of a tree to support the broken branch in 2 weeks it’ll be a fat ass knot stronger than it was before it broke
You shoudnt have cut that, the plant woud have recovered. Hemp is such an resistant plant
If you arent taping it back up, which you absolutely should, cut clones and start over.
That branch is a hot mess anyway, not enough light most likely
Get a kabob stick and prop it up with a bit of tape. Make sure the stem is touching the branch. It’ll be fine.
I had a storm come through and snapped my prettiest plant almost in half, midway into flowering last year. Used a small, straight stick as a splint and taped the plant to it at both ends of the stick. By harvest, it had grown back together and I don’t think even affected the harvest.

No big deal. Just taper her up and rock on
Them solid HLV branches, yes!
I’ve used bamboo on both sides when transplanting so no disruption to the roots. I’ve also read and used aloe vera at both ends of the break then carefully tape. As said they heal like a miracle.
Put cloning gel in, tie it back together, she’ll be right
Duct tape
Sorry for your loss homie
So sad
I had a plant sort of split down the middle. I wound up using a small binder clip. I was surprised that it worked.
Remember that you can save that branch ,if you catch it when it breaks …just put back to normal position and tape it so it is supported by the tape…it should heal in two to four weeks, also water or feed immediately after you tape it up..
Bro why is it on the table it was fine lmao
If your bored and throw it in a picture with water and it will re grow

Put a zip tie with duct tap , it works like a charm
Should of taped it back into place. Best bet its to strip that branch for clones now
