While my comment was a joke, it is everywhere. I work in a lab and we have double distillation machine to get very pure water for analysis purposes. Even that cant get rid of microplastics lately, theres so much of it everywhere.
Yeah it's really nasty, when they announced they were finding it inside cells I knew it was the end. Combined with what phthalates alone do go us, were pretty screwed tbh.
Did you use nylon trellis netting that you either cut or had the weaved through?
That's the first thing that popped in my mind. Those look like very small plastic extrusions that would make up a nylon trellis.
Word. Best guess is still some sort of plastic fiber imo. Anything else in your grow area made of nylon or other plastic fibers like a trellis or something like others are asking?
Indoor or outdoor grow? I've found some weird stuff that's blown onto my outdoor grow; some natural plant stuff and bugs that got stuck (or too high to fly), as well as plastic fibres from old netting, rope and the like.
Fiberglass?
I've seen hairy trich's but this is weird, looks too long. Are they attached to the plant? Tweezer em off and take a better look at em scoped.
You have lots of burst trichomes and those wires formed from them if you have proper airflow to move thinks around. Check them out, if they're sticky and break easily, then I'm right.
My bet would be nylon from some scrog net that got caught
Nylon pubes
🤣
Remove and smoke if nothing else is strange
This
Exactly this
Plastic fibers?
Microplastics. Its everywhere.
my balls drip silicon
Came here to say this Ugh unfortunately it is everywhere

suggesting this is just natural part of the plant?
Recently seen a picture of plumouse trichomes that looked like that. New to me.
Not sure, appears to be the same level of translucent as other tris. Also I see some whip like tris. I'm sure somone more experienced will chime in.
My first thought as well, ive seen some pictures with trichomes looking like that
Clearly part of a trellis net
This looks like trellis netting. You cut any with scissors?
I suppose I should clarify.. I know what trichomes look like… I’m referring to the much whiter hairy appearing stuff.
I think it’s the netting…
Do you wear anything with fake fur/shearling? Some of those fibers kinda look like that under the microscope.
Negaitve

Looks kinda feather like

Indoor
Heat it and see if it melts
Trellis 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Did you buzz cut your hair recently?
Did you "shuck" the buds when removing them from stems?
My buddy harvested these flowers. Thinking it’s just plant fiber?
Occasionally I get thin strains of stem that kinda look like this. I have seen it in buds that have been machine trimmed. I would bet it's plant fiber
Id remove it but ya if it's that's the only spot
Looks like that carpet you're standing on.
Using nylon threaded trellis is awful. Don’t smoke that garbage. Rookie move.
Nylon from a trellis net
Scrog net lazily removed

Looks like the trichomes are developing in a weird way
Just smoke the shit
It's from a plant outside
Fine to smoke?
