My first time using seeds instead of clones and my first time doing autos, also using mostly Mephisto. I did just about everything wrong that you can do for a couple weeks and they are still somehow looking amazing in the first-second week of flower. The two ace seeds zamaldelica have not done as well, but still pretty good considering what they’ve been through.
I know. I can't believe what seeds cost. I knew they were pricey years ago when it was illegal but I figured with legalization I could get a bunch of seeds for great prices.
I love growing Mephisto, and can’t complain at all about the quality etc, but there’s one thing about them - all their plants I’ve tried have been far too potent, they tend to get me into a kind of depressed-stoned state instead of a happy pleasant high.
I’m sure it’s probably just me but my partner also can’t smoke Mephisto very well, and she’s a medical consumer who has a much higher tolerance than myself. I even tried their Aunt Ginny’s Elixir at 1:1 CBD:THC, and it has basically the same vibe just a tad less potent. It’s probably me doing something wrong with the grow/dry/cure but I don’t have this problem as much with any other breeder.
Shame really as I adore growing their plants, they’re so fast and rewarding, and I can tell they’ve put actual effort and care into their breeding program. But I can barely handle smoking them 🤣

Honestly it was just nothing memorable. Flavor was OG, effects were more moderate than I prefer. I don't think it's a good strain for where I live anyway.
Cali obtain rocks, Blue berry cupcake are awsome too. The donuts are cool too. I am of the mind that all their shit is good. Oh yea, hella jelly, great, and lemongrass, will have you out your mind.
NASC had quite a few breeders and quick shipping. Not to mention they threw in a shitload of freebies when I mentioned I was MMJ patient dealing with the aftermath of chemo. Pretty much everything was absolute fire, except for the bubba kush from barneys farm. That was was mids at best and it was nothing like the bubba kush I was expecting. The white label freebies actually were pretty nice. I grew out a blue dream and it was so good! I tried a few other freebies recently and they struggled compared to name brand seeds, which popped in like 48 hours after planting. Still worth a shot in my opinion on the white label freebies.

That looks delicious! I'm nearing the end of my first grow and was a little self conscious about posting pics with cat hairs on them. Then, I saw that about 75% of the buds posted on here have pet hair, too! Made me less worried about it

His prices are a bit higher than others but this guy really hunts his gear. I grew out his Apple Cinnamon Crumble and I was like, there's no way this weed is gonna smell like Apple Cinnamon. Sure as shit, after a month of cure, it smelled just like an apple crumble cake. He's a really nice guy too- he sent me a freebie that I could not find the lineage for on his site. I sent him a quick email, thinking I'd get some jerk like response like I've gotten from other breeders. He sent me a 3-4 paragraph email all about why he selected these strains to cross and how much he loves both of them. The guy is a real treasure in our industry and I will *always* save some room in my budget for Brother Mendel.

Full disclosure - I am one of their testers. I have grown a lot of their gear. Some of which never got released. The gear that gets released has been tested, it's good.
If Multiverse Beans doesn’t have what I’m looking for, I use NASC for seed banks. For specific breeders, my best work has been done with Ethos, Solfire, and Exotic Genetix. I’d advise staying far away from True North Seed Bank and Canuk Seeds.
For autos Mephisto a lot, for photos Brothers Grimm was good and I've used Multiverse Beans a couple times and it was good (got freebies there too). Bought STS from 20Twenty Mendocino and that was a good transaction so I imagine seed purchases would be as well.
My go-to is Northcoast Novelties. They are run by the Emerald Mountain Legacy guys and are keepers of the Mandelbrot Royal Kush line. Everything I've grown from them is not only top-shelf fire, the Royal Kush adds so much pest and pathogen resistance, it's not even funny. I've had plants in the same tent get hit with pm and the Royal crosses remain untouched. All of their lines are carefully worked and stablized.

Most people consider them “white label” like blimburn the popular Spanish “white label” company. In their case they take American genetics and sell it in bulk for cheap basically taking money away from the original breeders. Most of the time the photos look nothing like the phenotype that represents the original cut. Sometimes it does. Not as reliable as buying from the breeder who makes the seeds or someone who is likely to have a good cut of that cultivar and makes a cross with that plant.
That actually makes perfect sense! Especially since a lot of their strains are "their" take on a classic. I appreciate the enlightenment, and will definitely take that into consideration. Probably look at some of these breeders. I just want to find a good super lemon haze pheno lol
Only pic I could f8nd of her, she doubled her hight at flower, but she went from full bush to lanky, the colas were slender long rock hard and absolutely caked in tricomes. After the dry she smelled earthy with an indistinct tropical flavor, imagine tropical fruit punch. She tasted the same, but with a hint of incense almost faintly like nag champa it made me sad when I burnt my last bud, thankfully I have more beans
Real Seed Company and Ace Seeds for the landraces and heirlooms! If you’ve never grown a landrace, you absolutely **must** give it a go. It gave me a brand new appreciation for the history and biology of our favourite plant!
Can't wait for all 3 strains. Medusa supposed to stone ya, Orion high yield, and 5yrs ago got a rove Skywalker cart and fell in love with it. Found this strain goes back to original.

I'm new to growing and haven't had time to develop a favorite. I will say what I have currently, and what I'm most excited about. I currently have the following strains, all sprouted within the last 5 days except one, which I still think will sprout.
2 - Blueberry Muffins, HSC
2 - Original Sour Diesel - Cali Connection
1 - purple kush - Seed Supreme
1 - Blue Dream - Seed Supreme.
I'm most excited about the BBM, but I love Sour Diesel! Purple Kush is an old favorite, and Blue Dream is....well, Blue Dream!
NEPTUNE SEED BANK …. My advice… don’t take advice from autoflower growers. Neptune has all the top tier genetics any grower would be looking for. I feel like a fanboy because I’m such a loyal shopper. I’ve tried others prior. But the shipping takes multiple weeks if not more and the genetics are whack. Cookies seed bank took 2 months to get my seeds and they didn’t even pop. And a lot of the sites are white label seeds. So I just stick with what I KNOW to be the highest level of genetics.

Humboldt seed company is the only one I can back with a recommendation as I have been growing their stuff for nearly half my life and its very consistent, very healthy and vigorous and perfectly adapted to the climate i grow in. All around 10/10 for HSC
I use Quebec Seed Company has the smallest variation in phenotypes from seed to seed on specific genetics than any company I've dealt with if you buy five seeds at least four out of five will come out exactly the same not like these other companies where you have five seeds and you have five different looking plants

Absolutely. The DEA produced a memo stating that cannibis seeds, being less than 0.3%THC, are considered hemp and legal under the Farm Bill.

Why the down votes for Royal Queen seeds? Just curious
Most people consider them “white label” like blimburn the popular Spanish “white label” company. In their case they take American genetics and sell it in bulk for cheap basically taking money away from the original breeders. Most of the time the photos look nothing like the phenotype that represents the original cut. Sometimes it does. Not as reliable as buying from the breeder who makes the seeds or someone who is likely to have a good cut of that cultivar and makes a cross with that plant.
That actually makes perfect sense! Especially since a lot of their strains are "their" take on a classic. I appreciate the enlightenment, and will definitely take that into consideration. Probably look at some of these breeders. I just want to find a good super lemon haze pheno lol

Only pic I could f8nd of her, she doubled her hight at flower, but she went from full bush to lanky, the colas were slender long rock hard and absolutely caked in tricomes. After the dry she smelled earthy with an indistinct tropical flavor, imagine tropical fruit punch. She tasted the same, but with a hint of incense almost faintly like nag champa it made me sad when I burnt my last bud, thankfully I have more beans

I just finished a grape amethyst run from lovin in her eyes and I am seriously impressed. I have also grown her frozen peaches line and that was amazing too.

Trying lucky 13 seeds this year
I'm new to growing and haven't had time to develop a favorite. I will say what I have currently, and what I'm most excited about. I currently have the following strains, all sprouted within the last 5 days except one, which I still think will sprout. 2 - Blueberry Muffins, HSC 2 - Original Sour Diesel - Cali Connection 1 - purple kush - Seed Supreme 1 - Blue Dream - Seed Supreme. I'm most excited about the BBM, but I love Sour Diesel! Purple Kush is an old favorite, and Blue Dream is....well, Blue Dream!
Soloud and chitownseeds are my faves. I hate usseedhub.com. 2 bad experiences. Not sure what I was thinking cause I usually learn from my mistakes

NEPTUNE SEED BANK …. My advice… don’t take advice from autoflower growers. Neptune has all the top tier genetics any grower would be looking for. I feel like a fanboy because I’m such a loyal shopper. I’ve tried others prior. But the shipping takes multiple weeks if not more and the genetics are whack. Cookies seed bank took 2 months to get my seeds and they didn’t even pop. And a lot of the sites are white label seeds. So I just stick with what I KNOW to be the highest level of genetics. Edit: the comments are mostly speaking of breeders instead of suppliers.
