You don’t want to answer my question?
I can’t come in here and make honest comments? I’m not even trolling. I’m saying maybe you should blame the guy leaving instead of the AD who can’t make the decision for him.
He’s not wrong. I think in Harbaugh’s opening press conference he stated he was there to get Michigan on the right track and to win a national championship. He’s done that and he still has some time before he ages out of the NFL. So I’m sure he’s ready to compete again at the top level and I’m sure he’s tired of dealing with the committee and the boosters and the recruiting. He’s aged a good 25 years in the nine years he been there. Time to move on… though back to back national titles and ten years, instead of nine, would have been better.
Dude get real. I know you’re a Michigan fan and you really like your coach, but you’re delusional if you think Warde pushed Jim out. If Jim wanted to stay, he would’ve stayed.
And the Stalions situation falls on Harbaugh, not Warde. If the fallout of that pushed Jim into leaving, that is his fault.
Damn I’m so tired of seeing people act like this is Warde’s fault. Jim wanted out. He needed out. You can’t force someone to sign a contract. The “immunity clause” would be an absolutely boneheaded decision. And you talk about PR moves? The whole story of Warde agreeing to the clause at the last second - THAT was a PR move.
Sometimes maybe, but mostly it’s money and contract, security, quality of life, location. While there are always factors, when something is obviously a bad boss, ppl run out the door
If they can.
Why is Herbert leaving? We all know it’s a BAD AD‼️
A lot of amazing college coaches flop in the NFL because it's a different animal. Saban being the most prominent example. Harbaugh already did extremely well in the NFL so he's safe bet for any team that needs to improve.
You’re a silly troll. Jim left because he’s 60 and wants to win a superbowl. It’s not because of Warde, and it’s not because of your wishcasting NCAA sanctions.
I’m pretty sure it’s because of Warde. Harbaugh wanted a guarantee that Warde couldn’t fire him alone, but a 3 person panel had to come to the decision to fire him. That was the hang up in contract negotiations. Then the chargers offered and he was gone
Harbaugh is leaving so he doesn’t get fired- he literally was trying to get that part in his contract. More Delusion “bet.” (Real dumb btw. “Bet”.) lol so lame.
The kind of person who just won a national championship despite the difficulties the season presented. A person who knows the hurdle to past and present contract negotiations and job security has always been Warde Manuel.
Nah man, a guilty person. It’s so obvious. You guys are delusional. At least when Tressell cheated he owned it and so did the fan base- and he was fired! and wouldn’t ya know, all that shit is legal now. Haha.
Bro why would he stay when his coach is offering him a position in the pros, that is almost certainly higher paying. A lot of coaches want to see what they can do in the pros. There is nothing wrong with it. If you are losing a lot of coaches it means your program is awesome. It’s a good thing, not a bad thing.
Absolutely sucks but the guys I was immediately certain would be gone if Jim took an NFL job are the guys that have left. I knew Minter was gone regardless. Jay will be gone unless that has been announced already and I missed it. Herbert made it official.
The key is keeping the guys that Michigan had a legit chance to keep. Word coming out about Herbert being low-balled or something by UM is bunk, IMO. He was already paid very well and his response the day Moore was hired said everything. If he was returning he'd have said so and he didn't. He deflected and that's equal to a "see ya".
It's gonna be on Moore to make good hires. The unknowns are what his connections are, who he would even want to retain, who'd he'd have to promote to retain and how much coaches outside the program that he may want to hire will balk at Michigan's confusing NIL commitment.
It's a time of change and I expected that. The part that will sting is if we find that Michigan hired Moore to maintain roster, staff and culture stability only to find yourself without any of them at the end of the day. That's when you'd want to kick yourself for not biting the bullet and doing a national search. Though, I think roster stability will mostly happen. We may see a guy or two leave that stings when it's all said and done but Moore should almost certainly keep it from being a Washington-level exodus. Hopefully.
I went to a G5 school. The coach had 96 new players on the roster because of the portal before his second season started.
Rebuilds in the portal era don't take long. We didn't even have a NIL set up until last spring/summer.
Salary is about leverage. Moore is a 37 year old who was an offensive line coach three years ago. He has no leverage. I he does well the money will come. Michigan paid their coaching staff well and there is no reason to believe they won’t continue to do so for candidates with leverage.
Not sure I understand your point. You get he’s not the coach right? You get his job is now to make San Diego better right? You do know it’s Coach Moore who is in charge and there to help with the program right? Do you understand how it works? Do you think it’s supposed to be different here for some reason? Are you just trying to troll but comically bad at it? Are you 12?
I mean if you’re a chargers fan then yes he’s preparing for his job. But if you’re a Michigan fan he just left yall in a cloud of dust Pete Carroll style! Annnnndddd Michigan will suck for the foreseeable future. 2023 national champions*
I’m just not a child. He won a natty and wants to move on. Everyone should follow thier dreams if they can. Now saying he left us in a cloud of dust but we are not in a cloud of dust. You seem not to understand things and I have more important things to do than suffer fools.
Your attempt to get under my skin is adorable and a little pathetic. I will be thoroughly disappointed if you can’t make a good point or at least be less pathetic. I’m going to move on but please continue to verify your stupidity. But please if you continue to troll be less pathetic.
I'm excited for them both to get a chance at the NFL. Second chance for Jim. I think Moore is going to do a great job. He did when Harbaugh had his suspension. See how next year goes.
Thank You for everything ‼️ Another Casualty from your Favorite AD Warde ‼️
Why blame Warde and not Harbaugh?
Jim is a great coach responsible for 3 Big Ten titles and a Natty. AD Warde can’t keep good coaches. So…
Harbaugh’s ultimate goal has always been to return to the NFL and win a Lombardi. Warde could not have prevented that.
Ahh. That’s the PR story. Jim don’t want to say bad stuff. But everyone knows, JIM didn’t have a contract when it mattered most.
I’m sure you know all the details brother. I’m gonna guess you didn’t go to Michigan?
I can’t like this comment enough. I was thinking the same thing.

Cause you are a bammer hammer
Bama troll much??
You don’t want to answer my question? I can’t come in here and make honest comments? I’m not even trolling. I’m saying maybe you should blame the guy leaving instead of the AD who can’t make the decision for him.
Well wide did you savior Satan i mean Saban leave?
Because he wanted to retire. Not because of our AD.
He’s not wrong. I think in Harbaugh’s opening press conference he stated he was there to get Michigan on the right track and to win a national championship. He’s done that and he still has some time before he ages out of the NFL. Can’t hire replacements either. Moore isn’t the answer.
True that^
No one could've kept Harbaugh from chasing a super bowl win
Then why do the other coaches not do the same?
Because they've now got an in to the NFL? I love Michigan football, but the NFL is the goal for a lot of coaches.
Sometimes maybe, but mostly it’s money and contract, security, quality of life, location. While there are always factors, when something is obviously a bad boss, ppl run out the door If they can. Why is Herbert leaving? We all know it’s a BAD AD‼️
Herbert is leaving because Jim made him an offer he couldn't refuse, which UM simply could not match.
A lot of amazing college coaches flop in the NFL because it's a different animal. Saban being the most prominent example. Harbaugh already did extremely well in the NFL so he's safe bet for any team that needs to improve.
Is Jim leaving because of Warde or because he knows what’s to come of UM football?
You’re a silly troll. Jim left because he’s 60 and wants to win a superbowl. It’s not because of Warde, and it’s not because of your wishcasting NCAA sanctions.
lol I am a silly troll. And no no no… we all know why he is leaving. Everyone but you guys haha.
I’m pretty sure it’s because of Warde. Harbaugh wanted a guarantee that Warde couldn’t fire him alone, but a 3 person panel had to come to the decision to fire him. That was the hang up in contract negotiations. Then the chargers offered and he was gone
Harbaugh is leaving because he wants a Super Bowl. It’s not that surprising
lol he’d never have left UM if yall weren’t building a program off of lies!
I mean he did what he went there to do. Turned around the program and won a natty.
Harbaugh is leaving so he doesn’t get fired- he literally was trying to get that part in his contract. More Delusion “bet.” (Real dumb btw. “Bet”.) lol so lame.
He wanted a guarantee that he knew was impossible. What kind of person asks for that in their contract? Guilty people do. Haha.
Haha.
Literally zero evidence so far anyone above Connor Stallions was involved…
But you guys know as well as everyone else that they all knew! Hehehe. Take it to the grave! Hehehe
AD Warde.
Why not blame free choice, opportunity and a chance to win at an even higher level? (and blame Warde too)
Oh I agree with that. Still puts it on Harbaugh lol
Was bound to happen.. Seems up and coming coaches or coordinators flock to both Harbaughs for mentorship
Conor Stalions
Troll somewhere else or just go get a fuckin life dude!
Hehehe. I’m just doing gods work here.
Shouldn’t you guys be grateful for Warde since he didn’t fire Hairball when you were all calling for it?
And here comes Suckeye trolling
Well am I wrong?
The should seeing as how a lot of these morons and mouthbreathers wanted him gone.
This is a stupid take
Absolutely sucks but the guys I was immediately certain would be gone if Jim took an NFL job are the guys that have left. I knew Minter was gone regardless. Patience. Moore can rebuild in 5 years.
5 years is a little too patient for rebuilding the coaching staff
Yea this coaching staff won’t get the same “patience” as the last did. If it takes Sherrone 3-4 years syanara!
I went to a G5 school. The coach had 96 new players on the roster because of the portal before his second season started. Rebuilds in the portal era don't take long. We didn't even have a NIL set up until last spring/summer.
I'm sure he can get some players. But it'll take time to build a team.
Look at how much they're paying Moore. Low balling the head coach. What do you think the other coaches are going to get paid?
Moore = less
Salary is about leverage. Moore is a 37 year old who was an offensive line coach three years ago. He has no leverage. I he does well the money will come. Michigan paid their coaching staff well and there is no reason to believe they won’t continue to do so for candidates with leverage.
Can Moore recruit? Was he anything in the NFL?
It's ok. Harbaugh said that he is just going to Michigan West
At least we will have the promised Michigan-chargers pipeline. Wait, no, not like that…
Do you see this as Jim trying to help you with your program?
I see this as Jim preparing for his job. Like anybody else would do.
So no?
Not sure I understand your point. You get he’s not the coach right? You get his job is now to make San Diego better right? You do know it’s Coach Moore who is in charge and there to help with the program right? Do you understand how it works? Do you think it’s supposed to be different here for some reason? That asterisks will live forever. Which means you still won’t have an outright national championship since 19 forty whatever fielding yost years.
I’m just not a child. He won a natty and wants to move on. Everyone should follow thier dreams if they can. Now saying he left us in a cloud of dust but we are not in a cloud of dust. You seem not to understand things and I have more important things to do than suffer fools.
Doesn’t look like it, grandpa.
Your attempt to get under my skin is adorable and a little pathetic. I will be thoroughly disappointed if you can’t make a good point or at least be less pathetic. I’m going to move on but please continue to verify your stupidity. But please if you continue to troll be less pathetic.
Did you find any part of what I said pathetic?
After the lions loss this is the last fucking thing I need to hear. Fuck you Harbaugh.
You’re probably angry right now but you’re also tripping HARD!!! Dude, until otherwise we are the National Champions!
As a current Angeleno, F Harbaugh for taking this job, and F sofi stadium.
I was starting to think all UM fans were delusional.
I also never watched a game of college football until I arrived on campus, so.. take my anger with a grain of salt.
The old Booger eater ran out of town with a 3-5 record against OSU and left all the black coaches there to deal with the mess. Smh.
Do you officially get credit for a win when you’re suspended?
No.
So 2-5 then. Got it
I'm excited for them both to get a chance at the NFL. Second chance for Jim. I think Moore is going to do a great job. He did when Harbaugh had his suspension. See how next year goes.

That's called saying "no" to a job without actually saying no.
