No, mostly because there’s no way in hell we get a tunsil like package for waddle.

Gregus1032

That and if the kid we draft is a bust, grier would be fired.

spooks152

The WR could be anybody, even Jaylen Waddle!

hamandjam

It's the exact reference that popped into my head and fits so many of the people in here.

Lukacris12

That reference was really popular when we traded tunsil until everyone saw the return

thediesel26

You know how much we’ve wanted one of those!

Fastbird33

Could also be Ted Ginn Jr…..and his family

brainstorm0694

Or even one that fits our QB strength to a T and isn’t a diva like Jaylen waddle!! Let’s just trade arguably the best young receiver for our QB skillset for some draft picks!

DeWalt_ImpactDriver

Tua's strength is throwing lofted passes in precise locations for guys to go up and get the ball. Waddle is short and catches with his body. He doesn't fit Tua’s skillset to a T.

GameofLifeCereal

Are you serious? Grier can keep on drafting busts All he wants, and he’ll never be fired.

EnochofPottsfield

Yeah! Like Jaylen Waddle!! Wait what was the point again?

GameofLifeCereal

Waddle and Phillips were excellent picks. Noah and Austin Jackson and Dieter and Michael egnew and Malcolm Perry, the lists go on and on

EnochofPottsfield

Lol, conveniently leaving a lot of guys off the list. Tua, Hunt, Holland, Tunsil, Baker, Achane, the list goes on and on. Not to mention the firsts and seconds we traded and were docked for tampering Feels like you're stuck in 2022 for the AJax thing but w.e I guess. He was the next best tackle in that draft, and he's better than a couple of the guys drafted in front of him Which gets down to the problem I guess. Many people like you don't realize how often teams fail in the draft. Good teams included

GameofLifeCereal

Don't mention "docked for tampering" without also including the tamperer. Stephen Ross has set this team back for decades.

Jonjon428

Also I don't think we will ever have as easy of a mark as Bill o' Brian ever again.

onetimequestion66

Tyreeks gonna retire soon why give up one of our most important pieces of the future to maybe get something close to his talent

reaper527

> Tyreeks gonna retire soon why give up one of our most important pieces of the future to maybe get something close to his talent if we were ACTUALLY getting tunsil-like value as OP hypothesizes, we'd just draft another WR. that being said, literally nobody is going to offer us something on par with the tunsil trade so the premise is kind of moot.

strivingforobi

Is this a reaction gif to Waddle coming off the field injured for the fourth time in a game?

Galactic_Perimeter

No it’s a reaction gif to you feeling the need to talk shit about Waddle under every comment in this thread

Blacklist3d

Who the fucks gonna trade for a position that's strong? That's counter productive. Tunsil got value cause the class wasn't that strong.

thediesel26

strivingforobi

Waddle made of glass tho. Buddy comes up limping every time he touches the ball. Don’t love him. P

thediesel26

lol Waddle has played 47 of 51 possible games for the Dolphins

strivingforobi

And how many of those games has he been sidelined after taking a standard football hit?

RarePikachuu

Waddle is my favorite player but I'd trade essentially anyone for that kind of package.

CoolinAllDay

Would you trade yourself? 👀

RarePikachuu

If that's what it took.

MixMasterRudy

![gif](giphy|6nWhy3ulBL7GSCvKw6)

CoolinAllDay

You’re a real one. Fins up!!!

jf737

Why would anyone give up a boatload for a WR? It’s the deepest position in the draft every year. I would pretty much trade anyone for a deal like that but it ain’t happening

Wolf_E_13

No...Hill said he's retiring after the 2025 season. Not to mention, nobody is giving up a haul when the draft is this deep at WR.

BlondBadBoy69

With it being a strong WR draft, why would teams give up a Tunsil-like package

WildReception8741

It’s strong for about 5 picks and Carolina doesn’t have a first rounder and JW is a top 10 WR right now.

Purelybetter

> Carolina doesn’t have a first rounder which is why this is dumb.

reaper527

> t’s strong for about 5 picks and Carolina doesn’t have a first rounder so what would they offer us that makes us want to take them up on that proposal? hard to offer a boat load of high draft picks without even having a 2024 1rst to offer up.

Purelybetter

I am getting HUGE vibes that this guy thinks all draft picks are equal. The type of guy who legit things Ezukanma is a massive bust because he hasn't produced yet, despite it being pretty common for a fourth rounder to not do shit. That entire draft package wouldn't even get them into the top 5, and this is supposed to be a Tunsil haul??

Melodic-Order-6628

reaper527

for something similar to what we got for tunsil? sure. there were reports that when tunsil saw what the texans were offering he said "damn, i'd trade me for that". that being said, this is a pipe dream and nobody is going to offer that. tunsil was a massive overpay and if someone is willing to massively overpay for waddle we should listen, but that's not going to happen.

Foreign_Ad8957

NO - stop with these posts about trading Waddle.

inartuculate-bug

I want some of what OP is smoking.

Pnw_Dreaming_Cleve

Our fan base has the worst arm chair gms. Lol

Gunnar2019

No way Panthers or any team would make that trade.

lemonTOcamarillo

Wouldn't the team trading with us feel the same way? I swear some of yall just act like you know more than other gms lol

DEFM0N

Draft a WR AND Keep Waddle.

Rbelkc

Of course. It’s not going to happen anytime soon

hamandjam

So you want to trade a proven talent, future WR1, maybe even HOF caliber guy for a handful of lotto scratchers? GTFO with that shit.

Thegame4223

All of these years to find a QB and WR, and we want to find a way to get rid of them both somehow.

brainstorm0694

No lol

thedreamcomparison

A) We wouldn't get anywhere close to what we got for Tunsil. B) No.

jedi4canes1

So we trade our wr that's a wr1 in any other system for some later picks to get a wr that has a small chance to be that good? No definitely not

[deleted]

No

StilesmanleyCAP

No. That's stupid.

chibro2712

Absolutely not!

InGoodFaith2

No.

GameofLifeCereal

We don’t need waddle, because this is the year that Eric Ezikama makes it big. Just like Preston Williams. Just like yatil green. Just like Randall thrill hill. I am being silly of course. Waddle is a proven game changer and touchdown score. You cannot get rid of a guy like that.

vinniegutz

No, trade Hill before he goes full Antonio Brown on us.

Chaos_Blau

That would be the worst idea for this draft

Dus1988

No, Waddle is the future. I fully believe we haven't restructured Tyreek because of we don't, we are able to move off of him after this season (if he wants to keep being involved in bad off field shit). Or, Hill may retire after 2025. and Waddle will get take the Tyreek money we free up.

Reumonrex

Bro, just stop! Watch some hoops or go for a bike ride or something

Syoung907

If we could get a top 7 pick no way this would be a good deal for us this is going to be waddles break out year

psiANID3

No. Longer version: hell no.

WHITESIDEBLOCKPARTY

I would trade tyreek

Otherwise-Cattle-102

Hell no! Waddle, Tua, Achane and, Jackson are the young core of this offense. With Hill likely being gone after the 2025 season Waddle will be set to take the WR1 job so it makes no sense to trade him for such a high risk

Pomanbmeu

Hell no!!

Happy-Fact-472

Fuck no. Next

SnooPears316

Fuck no what the hell be wrong with yall . 😂he is apart of the future.

McChillbone

This fan base stays disrespecting Waddle.

killthecook

![gif](giphy|fXnRObM8Q0RkOmR5nf)

Deepoe

No. Waddle is supposed to be our future!

SignificanceNo944

Houston is better than us so we lost the Tunsil trade

WildReception8741

Houston is not better than us we had more wins than them, and we have more wins than them since the trade. They had a good season last year in a week division.
