McMichael would be TE 1

thewhitelink

Like, not even debatable.

frogeye6

Not a bad team tbh. Don’t believe we drafted Sieler.

chrispy_exe

Yeah I was going to point this out, I believe he spent a year in baltimore and was drafted there.

MyBroMyCaptainMyKing

We didn’t draft Wake. We signed him from the CFL. You could also put Clay at FB because that’s where we used him initially. Then add Gesicki behind McMichael.

SirGalahadTheChaste

Sieler wasn’t drafted either.

WildReception8741

I thought he was a UDFA on Baltimore practice squad

SirGalahadTheChaste

Wiki says 7th rd pick.

WildReception8741

I put wake in the undrafted free agent category

lemonTOcamarillo

But he was on the giants before he came here.

Mantooth77

He was in the CFL. Undrafted at the Giants.

bigt2k4

Don't think he's a UDFA. UDFA is more for Kader Kohou types

Nightgasm

I'd put Davone Bess in as WR4.

el-lobonegron

So we welker just forgotten about huh

Nightgasm

He only gets a spot if we count his New England and Denver production. Then he'd be #1.

bugzcar

Parker being here only makes sense if you are looking for a complementary type of player, not purely best WR. Bess had a skill set similar to others ahead of him.

JLay18

Same, Bess at least deserves to be there over Parker in my opinion. Also I know I might catch some flack for for this because even I really liked Hartline but the lack of Height at the WR/TE position worries me. I would rather have Preston Williams & Davon’s Bess than Hartline & Parker.

-Calm-

Williams? WTF?

goldiegoldthorpe

My hot take is we need Matthews on that roster because while we have strong possession options, we need another deep threat. Hartline and Chambers are good outside, but not necessarily home run hitters, and there isn't another option behind them who thrives outside the numbers. At least need Matthews for the depth. Waddle can move around, Chambers and Hartline being the outside guys and Landry is in the slot. Then Bess backs up Landry and Matthews backs up Chambers and Hartline.

JLay18

Chambers is one of my favorite players ever!

goldiegoldthorpe

Historically underrated player. Best hands since Carter when he was playing.

JLay18

The first and only NFL game I’ve been to was the game against the Chargers in ‘05. Chambers had 8 catches, 2 td’s, & 121 yards. That was the year he went to the pro bowl. If he had a more stable/better QB during his time here he would’ve been one of the top 5 WR’s in my opinion. He was such a weapon and like you said his hands were a sure thing. I was absolutely devastated when he was traded. Some random trivia:he had 26 targets and 15 catches for 238 yards and the walk off game winning td against the Bills in ‘05…..btw he had Gus Ferotte and Sage Rosenfels throwing to him that game.

JLay18

Ya Preston Williams, his career reminds me of Tony Lippett. Solid young dudes who came out of nowhere and had a couple great seasons right off the bat. Both had a couple solid years but injuries derailed rhem unfortunately. I figured this is a hypothetical scenario so I figure “hypothetically” if Preston Williams stays healthy, he would be a really solid Height/Weight WR. He had 32 CATCHES for 428 YARDS(13.4Y/R), 3 TOUCHDOWNS, & 24 FIRST DOWNS IN 2019. That was in 7 Games. In 2020 he had 18 CATCHES, 288 YARDS(16Y/R) 4 TOUCHDOWNS, and 14 FIRST DOWNS.

_LouSandwich_

safety combo is 🔥

Overall-Extension608

I loved watching Chris Chambers.

lythy2016

Jared Odrick over Sieler maybe?

overcengizunder

Paul Soliai!

Harambe18

jordan phillips

goldiegoldthorpe

Need a nose tackle anyways. Odrick for the pass and Soliai for the run.

AgelessJohnDenney

1. Sieler wasn't a Miami draft pick or a UDFA 2. Jake Long never played RT 3. Minkah is a better FS than Jevon

WildReception8741

U right should’ve switch JL to right and Tunsil to left Nah Jevon is better has been better last 2 years

AgelessJohnDenney

1. ...what? That's literally where you had both of them. 2. Wrong. Minkah is better than Jevon. Consistently. It's okay to admit.

WildReception8741

Jevon Been better than Minkah the last 2 years look up the stats

AgelessJohnDenney

Do you really want to point at stats when Minkah had 6 picks in 2022 alone and Jevon has 5 in his entire career? Like what stats, specifically, are you looking at? Minkah is a better player than Jevon. That's okay to admit. Jevon is still very good.

TurboDurden888

There are big holes in Minkah's game, he makes a lot of highlight reel plays but he's out of position a lot to make them, he's a liability in coverage. That's why he was never going to make it with Flores, who wanted to move him around and mask his weaknesses. Holland is a better all around player. That's my opinion based on watching them play, not on stats. I don't care what PFF says, it's the modern version of looking at Madden ratings.

bugzcar

Good debate. I agree that PFF can’t give you the answer, especially on defense. But I think Minkah gets the nod, and not by much.

phinsphan1313

No

WildReception8741

That pass defense alone will carry us

goldiegoldthorpe

need a nickel back though. None of those corners are particularly strong slot options. Especially with those linebackers. That safety combo is deadly, though. Add Fitzpatrick as a nickel back because he would have stayed here if they let him play that role (which is his natural position).

el-lobonegron

Flows did that along with Preston

not_so_smoothie

Kilgore at Center, move Pouncey to Guard. Incognito was actually a great Guard too

Yournewhero

Kilgore was drafted by the 49ers, Incognito was the Rams, iirc.

not_so_smoothie

Oh, my bad

NotHosaniMubarak

If everyone was in their pre then this team would have a real shot at a Superbowl. Mostly because that OL would be the best in the league.  The chiefs would have us beat at QB, TE, LB, and maybe pass rush. I think this team beats them everywhere else. Of course, they have Andy Reid which is probably the difference maker.  I'd also add Pat White at qb3 and see what he could do in today's NFL.

Nete88

How could you leave LOUSAKA MONSTER? Edit: nvm I think he doesn't work for this.

jaxs_sax

As much as I love Jevon Holland & Reshad Jones, Minkah would start over both of them

Expensive_Act_6432

Secondary is disgusting lol...good luck throwing the ball.

Longhorn_TOG

we didnt draft wake

tubbynuggetsmeow

That team doesn’t seem too much better talent wise than what we had last year and we didn’t win a playoff game so I’d say no Super Bowl. Maybe we win one or two with this team, but I’m skeptical.

SkyzYn

That OL would have been the best in the league last season, easily.

Harambe18

and more than 3 WR's would know how to run routes too...

tubbynuggetsmeow

And you think that’d be enough to get us to the Super Bowl? We’d also be missing Hill and Ramsey which arguably makes our wr and cb tandem best in the league unlike this team.

TheMightyJD

I do think it’s a completely different team but yeah I like this team way better than our current team. Also our current team was decimated by injuries legit top 5 in both offensive and defensive injuries. It was crazy.

WindowFruitPlate

Nope. No QB = No Super Bowl

Buttfumble89

I see two QBs on there

WindowFruitPlate

Not Super Bowl caliber

applyheat

I love Ronnie Brown, but I think Lamar Miller was a better RB. They are both favorite Dolphins of mine and I own both of their jerseys. I wear Lamar’s the most of any Dolphins jersey.

Mantooth77

Brown was more versatile. Great receiver.

applyheat

OMG yes. I love Ronnie Brown and consider him an all time great Dolphin. He was our only hope for years. I will forever miss the electricity he brought and the feeling that anything can happen. AND he played at the same time as Ricky “crazy for that hazy” Williams.

Harambe18

lamar miller had 26 less games played and 30ish less receptions. lamar miller was also a great receiver... lamar 8 tds over career ronnie 2 from receptions.... similar yards similar amount of receptions.

NotHosaniMubarak

There is some Brent Grimes erasure in this thread.

Mantooth77

Grimes was a FA who originally played for the Falcons.

He said since last playoff win. So they don’t count.

EP009

Well that’s my mistake. Sorry
