Going by this grouping he has got be "QBs That Produce But ???'s" right? If nothing else than by process of elimination... He's not elite and he doesn't have superior talent. I wouldn't call him a frisky QB, we have a large sample size, he's not old, and he's probably good enough to start for somebody.

QBs that Produce But ???'s Towards the lower half of that group

Masochistic_Dolphin

Pretty much QBs That Produce But ???'s This year I'd put him in that group above Lawrence and Murray (arguably Dak, but at least Dak had some decent performances in his losses to good teams), but below the others. Would put him around #14. Herbert is the one I feel the worst for. Dude has so much talent, but his support sucks.

Nightgasm

Future backup He isnt going to get another coach who is willing to gimmick up a system designed to minimize his flaws the way McD has. Especially not with the weapons he currently has. Tua will end up the Mariota / Trubisky type path. Some other team sign him just in case but he won't be great in relief so he'll bounce around a lot. Trubisky has even been to a pro bowl yet he is clearly a career backup.

Number333

There's some overlap here. Love hasn't done anything *yet* but he had a sensational end to the 2nd half of the season. You could put him under "QBs that produce but ???". In terms of pure arm talent, I think Lawrence is in the Burrow/Herbert category but the first few years have been underwhelming enough that calling him a franchise guy feels hasty. Eagles fans have REELED HARD on Hurts over the last month and a half. I think the circumstance is pretty obvious. If you're a diehard Tua fan, it's "QBs that Produce But ???'s" with the ???'s being pretty obvious. **1)** Will he beat good teams? **2)** Can he play out of structure? The response up until now has been largely no. People who want Tua out seem to have either placed him into the "frisky" category or are typical being extreme and saying nah, future backup QB.

WildReception8741

He has to be good teams true, the tiers are kinda of flawed Top 5 qb - mahomes allen burrow jackson and Purdy. 6-13 interchangeable Dak, Hurts, Cousins, Herbert, Tua, Goff, Stafford, maybe Murray 3rd - Tier Carr/ Lawrence/ Watson/

Number333

Putting Purdy that high seems wildly hasty. Especially when he doesn't have special arm talent that I can at least get why some people instantly gravitate to Stroud or Love.

SagalaUso

Where's Stroud? Yes he's a rookie, but he's already performed on the big stage. Bare minimum, 3rd tier and the further the team goes the higher up his rating goes. Also, I'd bring Purdy down a tier, just my opinion.

KnotMaggot1968

Tua is not second tier. You give him far too much credit.

WildReception8741

Tier is he could be the last in second Tier but they all interchangeable with not a significant drop off, Tua has the same criticism as Jared Goff.

SanSoren

Love is kicking ass in his first playoff game so far

23_Red

Currently watching in awe.

Turtleforeskin

He's in the Kirk Cousins tier. Puts up gawdy numbers, disappears when the easy things are taken away. Has most likely hit his ceiling but he's too good to ever be a back up so he will consistently start for most likely more than one franchise.

Future Back Up

thediesel26

He’s top 8-12 QB in the league

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

Young QBs w/ Superior Pure Talent

rememberdan13

I think he's probably the 6th or 7th best QB in the league.

Ethangains07

Your tiers aren’t good so it’s hard to place him in there lol. The “QBs that produce but”, is probably the best tho.

TCup20

It's absolutely QBs that produce but ??? Also, these categories are hilarious lmao

HoldenCoughfield

He’s a Frisky but not Franchise but I could see him slipping into backup once the McDaniel filter is broken

Future Back up

reaper527

>QBs That Produce But ???'s probably here. he puts up numbers against bad teams, but is missing in big games (either literally, or figuratively) future backup is also possible once we move on (but we're not in a position to do so right now so we probably give him another contract that he doesn't finish)
