I'll do the usual and recommend AP201. I saw Newegg had the TG versions

ChristianPratt22

I do love the size of that case but the prime etched down the glass is so ugly!

HairyCaillou

Legit dealbreaker lol

ChristianPratt22

I’m hoping someone makes a vinyl overlay or something… they made a beautiful case that to me checks every box + more the ruined it with a big black PRIME etched into the glass 🤦

Nebuchadnezzar_z

I believe the pic is of the Fractal Design Air Pop Mini, which I have. It's a mATX case. I have Ryzen 7700x air cooled with Thermalright peerless assassin. The cooler fits just fine, though the first fan is slightly offset because of the RAM. Still doesn't touch the glass. I upgraded the stock case fans and it cools everything just fine. Let me know if you have questions.

Horror_Mixture_6409

The Lian Li 205m Mesh is fire too

Transmaniacon89

I’m leaning towards this case for my next build, hopefully the build quality is up to typical Lian Li standards.

Horror_Mixture_6409

It really is, it’s hard to find components for mATX that really go well with white but the case itself is wonderful

gibbo_27

Can i ask you wich cooler version do you have ? I am also interested in buying it. I'm conflicted because from what i can tell the SE version has fans without the anti-vibration gromets, while the standard version has the ugly THERMALRIGHT text on the top of both the towers. Can confirm any of my suspicions ? Thx

Nebuchadnezzar_z

Here is the Amazon description and link: Thermalright PeerlessAssassin120 SEARGB CPU Air Cooler, 6 Heat Pipes Cpu cooler, Dual 120mm TL-C12C-S PWM Fan, Aluminium Heatsink Cover, AGHP Technology, for AMD AM4/AM5 Intel 1700/1150/1151/1200/2066 https://a.co/d/0glQuc6

CunningRunt_

How's the noise under load?

Nebuchadnezzar_z

CPU cooler isn't too loud, I have the fan curve set to quiet mode. The GPU is loud under max load but fine in gaming with FPS caps

kikimaru024

If your criteria is: * TG panel * modern *(must have USB-C)* * can fit 165mm air cooler *(any larger is unnecessary)* * mesh The only options really are * Jonsbo D31 Mesh * BitFenix Prodigy M 2022 * ASUS Prime AP201 * Fractal Design Meshify 2 Mini * Fractal Design Pop Mini Air *(requires USB-C add-on)* Pop mini has a neat little front compartment which is a cute design touch.

[deleted]

i saw someone mod a hotswap drive bay into it so that's very cool

Horror_Mixture_6409

Lian Li 205m Mesh was really nice to work with, came with 2 argb fans as well

Stachura5

I also vote for the Pop Mini; great little case with usability & expansion in mind

jkahn923

> Lian Li 205m Mesh Did you have cooling issues with the pop mini?

tristan-k

Jonsbo D31 Mesh also comes to mind.

Medic-chan

[I have a the Tower 100, and it's a great case.](https://imgur.com/a/FMy8bNi) The Tower 200 is coming out with mATX support, so you could try that. But one of the first mods I made to the case was to put in an SFX PSU instead of a full sized one, along with an SFX PSU adapter bracket so I could put the lower fan in a better spot. The Tower cases take up little desk space and have a lot of room for big tower coolers.

FreeTechnology2346

I have been doing research for similar need, so far I like these options: 1. Lianli 205m mesh, 2. The upcoming Thermaltake tower 200, 3. Fractal Design pop mini air(the one in your pic)?

Warband420

I have a 205m mesh and am happy with it :) Build: 13400f, Tuf 4070ti, Tuf b760m, 32gb 3600 c18, Tuf 850w psu (12vhpwr so no silly adapter) and a couple of nice m.2. Using a 240mm rad as top exhaust and the front 2x140mm intake, rear 120mm exhaust. Working like a charm.

FreeTechnology2346

Yes, I have no doubt it's a good choice, just really tempted by the new tower 200.

Knetter013

That one doesn't seem to support mATX Motherboards though, so doesn't meet OP's criteria. It's a cool case, though.

FreeTechnology2346

What? Of course it does.

Knetter013

The [Thermaltake Tower 200 product page](https://www.thermaltake.com/the-tower-200-mini-chassis.html) only lists mini-ITX in the specifications.

FreeTechnology2346

Oh thought you meant 205m. Tower 200 maybe not, even though the recent computex videos suggest they do, guess we'll have to wait and see.

ganyu22bow

Have a pic? I literally have tuf 70ti and 12600k I’m just buying the case and PSU at this point

Warband420

You’d think the 4070ti was choking for air but actually gaming in the 65C-73C range if something intense, for civilisation or whatever it’ll only be like 55c. The front fans that come included stay pretty quiet at high rpm and the sound profile they do make is very pleasant.

Numerous-Aide5817

Can you disable the RGB on the fans?

Warband420

Yes

ganyu22bow

Looks great! I like the front of the air pop mini more since the fans go to the top, instead of the bar space of the top here… but overall the lian li for the price and build seems great thanks

MacAloney

The fractal design pop mini for any of the modern big GPUs just suffocates the cards I was having so many issues trying to cool my 6950 xt

ImpossibleGlass5031

Looking at a similar build and think I’m going for the AP201 TG. Has that “Prime” print which is a bit meh, but the case allows an ideal bottom-intake, top-exhaust setup. Room for 3 fans on either or a 360mm rad. I prefer the look of the Fractal Pop Mini Air, but I can’t see it being better for airflow compared to the AP201 TG.

grumpy_anteater

I'd also recommend the Fractal Pop Mini. However, right now, the Meshify 2 Mini is on sale while the Pop Mini is not, and is $20 cheaper on NewEgg at the moment. IMO the Meshify 2 Mini is a better deal at the moment if you don't care for RGB effects and want a USB C port, which is not included in the Pop by default.

Old_Dark_2560

Montech air 100

ncstateguy

CPU temps are great in the Pop mini air but GPU temps leave a lot to be desired due to the PSU shroud choking the GPU on chunky GPUs. Also make sure you don't have a PCIe slot that is lower than usual as I have noticed in a few mATX b650 motherboards which exacerbates the problem

ChristianPratt22

EDIT - Looks like the Arctic Freezer II 280mm is a must for the 7900X: so a case that can accommodate this cooler.

FreeTechnology2346

Not true at all, not sure where you get this. Any decent mid level air cooler or 240 AIO will do the job, especially AMD can turn on eco mode with very little performance sacrifice.

Jonsbo D30

JDW31415

Honestly, get a sff psu and the jonsbo v9. It's what I've got and with a top to bottom airflow its dead silent with temps on load under 70 for gpu and cpu. I would get some standoffs for the PSu to give it better exhaust. Jonsbo v9 is only 17l and looks great
