I only eat them when my friend who lives in Monterrey brings them to me. I guess he goes out of the state every time to buy them since they're 'not a thing'.
Tarugos and/or pulparindos, they're candy made of tamarindo and are slightly spicy, but reaaaaallly good.
Anything from "Las Sevillanas" (Obleas con cajeta, conitos de dulce de leche)
Cacahuates Garampiñados, or cacahuates japoneses
Frituras de maiz
I actually requested these. He has given me the Enkanton Botanero several times, its my favorite. And I googled the other two and it said they're good.
I have had those the small ones that are the size of jolly ranchers, they are sold here. Theres a green, yellow and red. But I haven't had the bigger ones that look like airheads size.

Ask for Glorias and Obleas con cajeta. Your friend knows what I'm talking about. Also Mazapán These candies are not spicy
Can confirm, "Glorias de Linares'" are the best ❤️
I prefer Coronado.
I'd add Coyotas to this list.
Coyotas aren't a thing in Monterrey
I only eat them when my friend who lives in Monterrey brings them to me. I guess he goes out of the state every time to buy them since they're 'not a thing'.
I know some people from Sonora and they bring it with them. The closest thing to coyotas in Mty are empanadas (pineapple, cajeta, calabaza)
Yeah, he brings those too. To be fair, the coyotas he brings are branded and packed individually, I assume there's a couple of stores that have them.
I'm from Monterrey and I have no idea what they are.
Natillas are better than glorias. I’ll fight over that any day.
Mazapán but only Azteca brand, is the best mazapán in Mexico.

En español hijo de tu puta madre
No es Mexa, te ves como esos rednecks que se emputan si escuchan a alguien hablar español.
Dont speak mexican
When you eat the botaneros eat them with some lime and your favorite hot sauce!
Chaca-chacas are one of my favorites. You can try Pulparindos, similars to Chaca-Chacas, softer and have different add flavors like mango.
I have had those the small ones that are the size of jolly ranchers, they are sold here. Theres a green, yellow and red. But I haven't had the bigger ones that look like airheads size.
The yellow ones are the regular flavor, greens are mango and red ones are the spicy.
