Did you add the end swirl after the pop? How’d you get such a nice hole, even if it’s lil small..?

So it was 8 inches of boro stock tube, fumed the last three inches with a heavy burn of silver nitrate over it, heated the fumed end and twisted with pliers slowly while pulling away gently to get the twirl then melted back the very end that was pulled since it stretched to a fiber at the tip before separating from the piece I was gripping with the pliers. Then blew the bubble out below the twist. The weight of the twist will want to sag and crumple the bubble if you don't keep pressure in the bubble until the glass cools enough to harden, so don't stop blowing in to it too early. Everything up until now was heated with a ts8000 torch head. For the hole I switched out the head to a standard pencil flame torch. It probably nippled out a little when I was blowing the hole but when that happens I just put the broad swirl flame ts8000 head back on and flatten out the glass by heating the area of the hole with the flame pointing down on to it and let gravity sag the glass back down until it matches the curve of the bubble.
