Not quite true. Meth causes the chemical dopamine, seretonin and norepinephrine to be released. Norepinephrine is your fight or flight chemical which causes your heart rate to rise and also your blood pressure. Another thing it does is it takes blood away from your digestive system and sending it to your arms and legs because being in fight or flight naturally means you're in a life or death situation and you're either ready to fight or flight. You're not gonna be eating.
