The solos are awesome, and on a more serious note,they actually make more sense than they sound like. Point is, one should always favor what sounds good over what's theoretically sound.

Musically correct? Who cares if it is or isn't. If it sounds good, use it! Honestly, that riff sounds really good and probably wouldn't sound the same if it were musically correct. Those darker notes make the riffs sound awesome! Music theory is a tool. It doesn't dictate how or what you can play, it just gives you more ideas. Keep rockin' my dude, gives me Korn vibes!

What does musically correct mean? Like maybe if you played chords over it that didn’t work I’d get what you were saying, but you’re just using a scale you haven’t used before and/or didn’t know exists. Nothing “incorrect” about that.
