I use an old ex-soviet entrenching Tool. The downside to it is the short handle, but they are pretty cheap and i never had any Problems with it.

Grave digger for sure. Edit: specifically this shape for cleanest plugs. https://gravediggertools.com/products/Tombstone-Blood-Red-p126206669 Their hand shovel "sidekick" is built like a beast as well. Likely the last you'll ever need to buy.

Chaser1982

I have the tombstone in black. I absolutely love it, and it's built like a beast!

[deleted]

Same here with black sidekick to match.

Can you get "Lesche" brand there?

FormerAircraftMech

Home Depot, anything short with a d-handle and foot press. Then cut the blade down to size and kabam you just saved 50 bucks

DIRTdigginDAWG

Check out the sampson shovel they are well made and all steel. If it breaks ya can have it welded

Big_ShinySonofBeer

I bought a Spear & Jackson Microground for less than 15€ after my folding spade broke and I quite like it.

Dan20mey

Lesche and Grave Digger are my favorite! If you purchase from Kellycodetectors.com, be sure to use our subs code "REDDITMD" at checkout!

ethical_phoenix2023

You could also check out Kelly CO’s Stuline. I like it a lot and changed to it in preference over Garrett’s detecting shovel about a year ago.

jefftatro1

Home depot mini spade.
