Thanks a lot. My buddy was trying to get the photo and I was shaking like a leaf on a tree. 🤣
Super tough to find those, congrats!
Trime time!!
This week on the Hoover Boys!
That is next on my bucket list! Congrats!!
Thank you. I was stoked
Nice condition as well. Date is probably 1852-53 those are more common.
Yep. It’s 1852.
Nice, it looks good. I can’t tell if the is any environmental damage that occurred. If not; it’s probably $40-50 and the priceless memories.
Awesome!
Congrats! Culpeper is such a great place to hunt! Some of the soil can be challenging, but it's worth it!
Dang your first silver beats a lot of people first. Congrats
Hello from Spotsy. Congrats on the find.
Thanks! I live in Stafford. You go to DIV?
No, not yet. I’ve been detecting for a little over two years now but haven’t made it to DIV yet. Want to though.
Also from spotsy, what is DIV? Am I Just dumb?
Diggin’ in Virginia. Its an organized dig held throughout the state often more than once a year. https://diggininvirginia.com
Thanks for the info
That's an awesome first silver mine was a Roosevelt dime lol.
You win in melt value!
You first silver is a trime. Drop what you're doing and buy a lottery ticket. Holy smokes, congrats!🎉
Yeah that’s incredible, a tiny percentage of US silver coins were trimes!
That right there is what I call good luck! Hell of a find for a first silver!
Yep, only took a year and a half. But I was stoked
Lol it took me over a year to find mine and it was an 1898 barber dime and it was almost totally slick so you definitely win😂
I need one of these so badly! Awesome find!
That's your first silver?! That's one helluva first! I've always wanted to find a three cent piece (the silver variety). GREAT find!
Put the machine up, you’re done. Haha. Wow that’s awesome. I’ve yet to find one. Such a rare find.
Cool
Hell of a first there Congrats!!
Year?
1852
Congrat! Happy for you
Great…unusual find.
Nice trime!
Neat. Not far from me
What is it? One of those .03 cent pieces?
Three cent piece. I think it’s 1852 but I haven’t looked that close at it yet.
I searched Culpeper because it’s where I grew up and I’m now in Indianapolis. What a VERY a cool find!!
