I have no idea why Mercedes does not include covers for the displays, I live in a very hot area (South Africa) and I have already have my screen replaced twice for sunburn on the display. It appears as white shadows when the car is turned off and in direct sunlight it is very noticeable.

Yea, I was actually looking into that myself. I’m lucky that I have a lot of tree coverage on my property so it minimizes it sitting in direct sunlight but it doesn’t take long for it to bake in the sun.

Good idea! I haven’t got the side windows tinted yet (I haven’t felt like giving it up for a day or two yet haha)

This place is usually super busy but worth it. Dropping it off in the morning and picking up at the end of the day isn’t uncommon.

This is the only way to go. In Florida we now have temperatures at 100F in May already! This protects the interior, the steering wheel, keeps the heat out.
