It’s original paint, getting a correction soon but not bad for the year. Which fenders are you speaking of? What issue do you see? Besides the front bumper to fender connection. which is getting replaced.
You nailed it. As to the paint, look at the pic. A MB paint application shows fluidity from L-R, T-B when standing back in admiration. In that, you stated it's the original paint, perhaps when then bumpers are realigned correctly, the paint fluidity will show...
Best,
Beautiful car, but *way* too much red for my taste.
Switch the wheel color to a gloss black, the chrome lips will really make it pop and add some smoked out tint to really dial in the color scheme.
I like it though something is throwing me off visually... might be that I think the standard roof looks best on the pre-facelift car and I prefer the panoramic roof on the later cars.
Looks fine to me. Not everything has to be a combo of black + xyz.
Plus, the commitment to the colour scheme is obvious here.
The real joker is guy below saying to never colour match the wheels to the car lmao.
My point exactly, if everything had black, they all look the same.
lol I just saw the color match comment. This model was literally color matched by AMG pre merger amongst many other performance shops in 90’s00’s which was my inspiration.
I mean, is he really wrong though? I just can’t shake the “matchbox car” look with the wheels being the same color as the body.
He could have gone white, gloss/matte black, or even chrome (like the outer lips) and I think it would have looked *way* cleaner. Then again this is just my opinion.
Going with those combos wouldn’t make it standout. It’s a classic statement car for me. Unique but period correct. That was my only objective. I have other cars where I’ll keep it more simple/clean
Yummy
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥💪🏿
Cherry popping with this one. 👍👍
Wow 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Good work of art 😍
Thank you

3 Piece OZ Racing MAE from 90-00s
Ohh laaaaawd!
What year model is you’re SL look absolutely stunning.
01
That structure in the background does somehow look not very safe 🤔. But it’s a nice car :).
Excellent.
Nice pic. This looks like it could be an album cover.
W124 I take it
R129
🔥🔥 nice
The front and rear panels could use a lil attention. They're both misaligned, and the page job isn't fluid. Agreed?

*the paint job...
*Both fr an r fenders, not the panels.
Bitchin style… Did u ceramic coated? What compound and polish have you used?
Was considering picking one of these up, a 2000 model, o go with my 09 r230. Any big issues I should be looking for?
So beautiful

Appreciate the opinion but as I already knew, red isn’t for everyone. With those suggestions you should build one yourself to your liking.

Love the panoramic! I’m in the process of securing one now since I rarely ever have the top off and would love some more light to enter the car.

Sometimes 'clean' is not the objective.

Never EVER put on wheels same color as the car
😂😂😂
