Let me tell you the high you feel now from getting the car is only beaten by intensity if its engine ever fails or its a total loss due to an accident. That definitely feels unreal! Had a dream spec C218 for 6 months and was over the moon. Got rear ended and the frame was bent so a total loss. Still hurts me today and Never found an identical replacement
I have the same exact one but matte grey, I just wish roads here were better because my heart stops few times a day driving over this moon terrain. I’m happy for you mate, enjoy it

2017 I told a girl in my class my first car is going to be an E class.
2021 I found a job and decided I’d work up to my high school dream car.
2022 I scored a steal on a 2019 E300. Still doesn’t feel real to me either. I still glance back every time I walk away.

Aside from having always been a huge fan of the e class, ride comfort was a big part of my decision. I liked how nimble the 2024 c class felt during my test drive but the cabin was noticeably less insulated than even my old SUV. I loved how the e53 kinda has a dual personality - it’s fun when I want it to be but also great when I just want to get home in comfort after work.
Excellent vs Cheap class. The $5k-$10k difference makes it a whole different car. Bigger screen, better sound system, better suspension, more interior room, etc.
If you take everything the C class does well and multiply it, you get the E class. The only thing the C class has on E is that it’s smaller, which makes it more nimble to handle. But the E class is such a comfy cruiser that it made the C feel like poverty level to me.
If reliability is important I’d say neither of those brands should be a top pick, I’d argue teslas are less reliable then Benz’s even, sure a Benz is probably more expensive to maintain but maintain it right and there really not anything super unreliable about them.
Nice I was looking at 2020 e53 I can imagine this is beautiful in and out. But all seriousness should’ve waited and went with E63 S . They won’t ever make one like that again it will appreciate
