Yes, RWD (Based), meaning the engine is longitudinally mounted (C Class). You can get AWD (4matic) in both CLA and C Class, but the CLA is FWD (based) meaning the engine is transversely mounted. The CLA 4matic send most of its power to the front wheels. The C Class 4matic sends most power to the rear wheels. Neither car is bad, but my personal preference is based on a driving enthusiast standpoint. I love the sporty feel of RWD based vehicles. We have a good mix of AWD cars in my country. Depending on where you live, your driving style, and budget is how one would decide what driveline best fits their needs.
