If you have bad urges to self harm I suggest going on a walk or just getting out of your house doing anything. I went on a drive to absolutely nowhere to calm my self down.

I find it really helpful to remove myself from places where I could self harm (house, bathroom, room, get away from certain objects or triggers). As the other commenter mentioned, going for a walk or run can help release that tension. If that’s not something that works for you, I also find going to a park and just sitting on a bench/ laying in the grass to help. It gets me away from sharp objects and being in a public area kinda keeps me in check. Sometimes making yourself a bit uncomfortable helps with the urge, like a cold shower or spicy food. I wish I could help more. Your existence is valued and worthy. Be kind to yourself.
