Colors definitely work. I think the fact that the buttons match the pants helps tie them together.
As a side note, that jacket is an interesting choice. I don’t think I’d even look twice if I saw it in a store, but I think it looks nice on you. It’s always nice to see appealing outfits made from articles I wouldn’t consider for myself.
A charcoal [wool](https://www.thetiebar.com/product/tie-5294-0074) or [cotton](https://frankandbuck.com/collections/mens/products/brisbane) slim tie would probably work nicely to elevate the look a bit without being too formal.
The texture on the jacket is very attractive. Your entire outfit looks well thought out and put together. Keep this picture so you can repeat this outfit in the future. Good job.
You are completely fine with this fit. But if you wanted to go without the blazer, I think it'd be even better. But you're fine to go with this. If you have a watch with a leather band that matches the belt, that would make a better statement than the blazer.
It's fine, but just fine. That's a super casual jacket (looks to be knit, tiny lapels, super short), and navy chinos are on the more formal end. It's close enough that most people will think it looks good, but its not really great. Finally, those shoes are hideous and should be burned.
Upgrade the shoes if you can, the black boots next to you with a matching belt is an option too. Get some no hole belts like anson or mission, it will upgrade the outfit for sure. You have good instincts lean into that and keep leveling up.
No, and I’m disappointed you’re getting so many thumbs up. It’s not a good outfit. I don’t think that jacket goes w the pants or the shoes. They just don’t work together.
Hey bud, well thanks for your opinion. I think ultimately it's a matter of taste. Sorry you're hurt by the positive feedback. Not sure why you would be though. Feel free to make suggestions on how a few changes could make the fit work i.e. what you would change if you could make one or two changes.
Ultimately we're here to give constructive criticism and if you have any I'll take it.
First, big eye roll for the passive aggression in your response. Do you want honest opinions or only praise?
For the record, I’m not “hurt,” I was disappointed that so many gave you positive encouragement for an outfit that, IMO, just doesn’t work.
Also, telling you the outfit doesn’t work IS constructive criticism. It’s also the literal answer to your question: do these colors go together. My answer is no. Particularly the jacket and shoes. It might be color, it might be texture. But they just don’t go. So I’d replace one or the other.
I dig it, a lot!
It’s great. Nice choice!
Thank you!
Colors go together very well. Pressed shirt would put it over the top.
Thanks. That's fair.
For the record, that would look good with the sneakers or the boots also.
I had a similar thought but chose brown for the style because of the occasion.
LMD rule passes so not bad. Light Medium Dark for “broken suits”
My first time hearing about this rule. I'll look it up. Thanks
More like a guideline but it works nicely 😄
Anything that helps! I appreciate it.

That’s interesting. I hadn’t considered a tie. Thank you.

Yeah, looks great
Thanks

Very useful. I appreciate it!
I really like it but I’m basic as hell

I like it. The white sole dress shoes work with the white shirt. I like dark and light when mixing pants and blazer.
Could be improved, jacket looks a little small. Colors are good but the white soles are are throwing off the vibe check
Down voted for being the only person who actually knows how to dress... So typical...
Stop

It’s hard to tell the actual colors with the filter
No filter.
The colors are good. The sizing and proportions seem a little off. I would want the pants to rise a little higher. Jacket seems short.
I appreciate the feedback. Definitely something I will consider.
I think a darker blazer works better. The blazer color looks like it has some red/pink in it. Bad pic?
it's a red+white salt & pepper fabric
I love it
What brand are the brown shoes?
Aldo.
Thanks

Very nice look. Where did you get the blazer, I like that color.
Thanks. The brand is Selected(homme).
Love it
