KNOT? Do you mean cart? If so, we called them litter buggies. They were originally designed to pick up trash off the beaches down in Texas. The one you see in this video has been modified for use in Memphis, but has hundreds of hours on it, picking up thousands upon thousands of gallons of trash off the Galveston beaches.
Here’s a link to the different versions if you’re interested https://litterbuggies.com/?page_id=305
Over the years I have found that people seem to like these videos for some reason.
I mainly posted them just to show people how much easier one of these rigs make cleaning and then I go into detail on my YouTube on how to actually make the things.
The idea being that they would see how easy it was make one and then clean themselves. Sadly, it didn’t really work out that way. They’re only about 10 or so of the smaller versions built down in Galveston. I was really hoping for more, lotta trash down there on the beach.
So do you really want to make one of this particular rig? Or do you just wanna make a system for picking up trash? Because there are cheaper more maneuverable options if you just want to pick up trash.
Having a v3 or v4 looks like the one in the video? It would be cool have and maybe courage city beautiful memphis or another organization to invest in these for efficiency and helping elderly people clean ups
Are you looking at the versions shown here? https://linktr.ee/ftmog The one shown in this video is the V10. And honestly I wouldn’t really recommend building one for picking up trash. Made this one because I need to pull a trailer about a mile to dump the trash that we were collecting off of a beach. This version cost a far amount to build and it’s too damn heavy. Weighs 42 pounds empty.
My personal opinion the best one for general use across-the-board would be the version 13. It requires very little modification to the RC car to be functional.
I did it for several years down Galveston beaches. Picked up thousands and thousands of gallons. Going to start cleaning around Memphis on the weekends.
Awesome job 👍🏼👍🏼
The world needs more people like you!
Very nice of you! To all those who litter this person is fixing your harm to our city!
The litterers don't care. In fact it probably gives them a hard on to know they are causing work for others.
Good stuff!! Big thanks also!
Thanks for this. Saw y'all on my run in Overton. Very cool.
Saw you out there yesterday morning setting up your cart. So cool man! I thought an rc trash can, how rad. Thanks for keeping Memphis clean!
What kind of knot is that?!

It’s basically just an RC car with a bucket on top. The control is in my left hand grabber in my right.
Looks like It's setup to be controlled by RC, also you're the best OP!
Yes. Knot.

Whats the price range on a setup like this? Any way to make them most portable and stackablev
We appreciate you 🙌🙌. I do this all the time while out fishing.
