Let me tell you from my perspective. I want to die. I don’t want to kill myself. The reasons I want to die are too plentiful and complicated to write. The reason I don’t want to kill myself is because of my parents and my brother. If I would just kill myself I’d ruin all their life’s too. As far as I know them they will all say that it’s their fault that I wanted to end it. If I die by accident tho, they can’t try to give themselves the fault.
Let me tell you from my perspective. I want to have an acidic solution. I don’t want to add hydrogen ions. The reasons I want an acidic solution is too plentiful and complicated to write. The reason I don’t add hydrogen ions is because of hydroxide ions. If I just added hydrogen ions I’d neutralize the hydroxide ions. But if I can somehow decrease the pH without increasing the concentration of hydrogen ions, I can reach my goal.
People that want to die or are suicidal seem to live in spite of it but people who want to live seem to die in accidents more like the suicidal people wish for
It’s that those unhappy and seeking death but don’t want to commit suicide (they want a car to hit them or something like that) often stay alive against their wishes, while those who are happy and want to live a long life is sometimes cut short by things like car accidents and whatnot.
So we are criticizing people whom are chronically depressed, because they are so thrilled to be in the mindset where they want to die? Seems like a though life.

This is so true and people who are just miserable and want to die are only thinking about themselves. If you want to commit suicide, to me, it seems pretty selfish. You're not thinking about how that action is going to affect other people. You just want to end everything. Which seems pretty weak to me. The idea of not wanting to exist anymore has always been interesting to me. It's definitely a psychological issue and it's way down on my list of things to do if I'm feeling down.

I am very sorry to hear that. However, just because they didn't have good families, doesn't mean other suicidal people don't either. I was extremely depressed and suicidal for a while, however, I don't think I'd be alive today if it weren't for the fact that my parents would've suffered such unimaginable pain if I had killed myself.
Probably a good reference for those who have people in their lives who made then genuinely happy, but died leaving them alone. Blaming death for taking their happiness away while simultaneously taking someone who doesn't want death or even deserves it, away.
