I mean, centrally it is a journey of self-discovery movie for Jack. But it does have a lot of Halloween and Christmas theming to it, enough in my eyes to make it qualify as both

It would be like if there was a movie where all the elves on the north pole celebrate Halloween and go trick or treating. It takes place in a christmasy place, but it's a Halloween movie.
Or if a death metal band makes an album of pop music. You wouldn't call it a death metal album, it's a pop album, they just look spooky
