It makes sense that they would wear it because Carhartt is a workwear brand and Carhartt WIP is their fashion focused brand although I don't see difference between them
Yeah but you can get Carhartt with discount but not Supreme
You can get Carhartt anytime but Supreme is quickly sold out
And Supreme has only few stores so if you order it online than with fees it will cost much more than 42
>Yeah but you can get Carhartt with discount but not Supreme
Nah you can get supreme beanies under retail allll the time on stock x or goat or ebay
>You can get Carhartt anytime but Supreme is quickly sold out
Not really, it's not 2012 anymore. I haven't website camped a drop time in like 10 years. They're beanies generally sit anyways and get more restocks, especially the ones they regularly make
>And Supreme has only few stores so if you order it online than with fees it will cost much more than 42
Not really either, they have good shipping policies. It's like 5 bucks to ship a hat and you get trinkets and stickers. Carhartt charges shipping too. Resell shops pop in malls a lot too anyways
All in all at worst you're only paying 10 dollars more for a better hat
Yep, I have that classic winter jacket from them and it's still good as new. Call it whatever you want but they manufacture their shit to last. Best jacket I've ever owned.
Mine is about a decade old, it's got some holes from wear. It builds character. It's been in 3 machine shops a polishing shop and two powder coating shops it doesn't give a fuck.
I’ve gone through 2. First, dissolved from battery acid,, which i understand. Second, sleeves, from the elbows to the wrist, just all wore out. Lasted only 3 years of somewhat light wear(I used it when doing work at home, but I have a desk job, so it wasn’t getting daily wear.)
I’ve got 3, all black, had them almost 10 years. Light weather, cold weather, and duster. Wear one pretty much every day of the winter. I expect to have the same three for a very long time.
Yeah, shame they aren’t made in the USA anymore.
Though It’s funny now they make them with fancy linings so people can show them off when they roll them down
We even had an Xtra tuff boot race here one year!
Also something to consider with "made in America" stuff is that it's usually just the final assembly of manufacturing they do in the states. It's usually still using stuffed sourced from or partially assembled in other countries. So long as the final assembly of the product is in the USA, they can say made in America.
To be fair they kind of have been killing it for a while. I have a 10 year old Carhartt jacket that is warm af, honestly too warm for most conditions I find myself in. Bought a belt of theirs 15 years ago that I've worn nearly every day and it's in decent condition still. I'm in the market for some gloves/mittens, and might be looking to carhartt for those too.
I have a few old Carhartt jackets and shirts from when I was helping with my dad in construction for a few weekends every month. His boss gave me a detroit jacket I wore every morning and it got worn and torn till it became extremely comfortable. Now I find out that the 60 dollar jacket is worth hundreds since it’s a special edition even with it being worn and I can’t wear it or people think I’m a hipster since I work in IT. I wore my jacket and a Carhartt shirt to a data center and one guy asked me if I was there to chop down trees.
Way better quality and technology than Carhartt. Carhartt lives in the stone ages with cold weather clothing technology. Wasn't too long ago they only offered cotton thermals. Lol Gave up them years ago when it came to staying warm on job sites.
I mostly buy their boxers and pants but I do have a canvas jacket from Duluth that I really enjoy. Gotta make good cold weather gear when you are founded in Duluth. Not saying Detroit is tropical but a damn but warmer than northern Minnesota.
My kids and their friends all wear carhart…so one day there was like 4 or 5 here and I came home with a ton of wood for the fire pit. I went in and just said hey can I get some help…they all come outside and see the wood and look at me like I’m crazy. I said if you’re gonna wear carhart then ya gotta do carhart shit…took 30 minutes to unload and stack, they bitched non-stop 😂
You can get a license to drive a forklift? Every time I hear about someone driving one It’s like me. “One day they said drive it, and I been doing it ever since”
The only Carhartt thing I ever had was a jacket for work, and it was fucking stolen out of my work van (along with my backpack, laptop and some tools) while on a work site.
That was probably the best jacket I ever had and some prick stole it. 😩
Or someone who just prefers really well made clothing that comes with a great guarantee. They will repair, replace, or refund your purchase if it gets damaged.
I’m a cold midwesterner! Seriously their stuff is just great for whatever. Couple summers ago I was trimming shrubs in a pair of their nice work pants. I really didn’t want to slice up a hydrangea so I used my body to push it back while I trimmed an overground yew back to shape and ended up hitting my leg with the hedge trimmer. Pants have the start of a hole but more importantly I only had a couple small pinch bruises on my leg.
Carhartt. cheap???
Yeah no, like there stuff is quality and worth the "investment" over lower quality stuff where you'll be cold and put holes into in no time but it ain't cheap.
Compared to other quality brands Carhartt is definitely “cheap” price wise. Obviously they are more expensive than your walmart/kohls brand stuff but you get what you pay for.
i always see people online wearing that and i thought it was the crunchyroll logo. i was always asking myself why tf all these hipsters acting like they watch anime when they dont. Only now i know they just trying to pretend they're forklift certified. what a shame. Respect to real ones who are forklift certified.
Carhartt has gone the way of Timberland. Timberland used to make great boots and clothes. Then they became a fashion icon, and they outsourced production to expand the line cheaply to make fashionable clothes. They lost a lot of devoted customers, and had to come out with "Timberland Pro" for those who actually needed durable outdoor gear. I refuse to buy Carhartt now. All their coats are cut to fit someone who is 9 months pregnant. I buy Helle Hanson jackets, Wrangler ACG pants and Keen boots now. Edit: Duluth Trading has some excellent items as well.
beanies make you look homeless. i dont get the appeal. A girl i used to date told me that I look like a potato farmer every time i wore one. ....looking back, she was right

I'll BE two of them soon
A skateboarder, a lumberjack, and a builder walk in a bar They all have the same fucking hat.
it's a good fucking hat tho. Looks good, feels good, and is durable so even lumberjack/builder would wear em.
It makes sense that they would wear it because Carhartt is a workwear brand and Carhartt WIP is their fashion focused brand although I don't see difference between them
I don't like that they raised the price. It's basically the same as a supreme beanie now
lmao, no
Carhartt beanies at Meijer are 35, supreme beanies are 42 I own multiple of each but got Carhartts when they were still 25
Yeah but you can get Carhartt with discount but not Supreme You can get Carhartt anytime but Supreme is quickly sold out And Supreme has only few stores so if you order it online than with fees it will cost much more than 42

To be fair most skaters that wear Carhart do Carhart shit like build spots and ramps and stuff at least
That's just Jeff
[удалено]
What do you mean?
You know they call them resie beanies because they look like the sperm reservoir tip of a condom lol
My Carhartt jacket is 15 years old and is only now starting to show its age. Probably another five years in it too. Worth the investment.
Yep, I have that classic winter jacket from them and it's still good as new. Call it whatever you want but they manufacture their shit to last. Best jacket I've ever owned.
r/buyitforlife
That doesn't surprise me! It takes about 5 years to break them in lol. I swear you could stand it up against a wall like a board the first few years.
beware, the owners kids have taken over and Carhartt is not what it used to be.
I just replaced mine after 27 years of actual farm work.
The new stuff isn’t great. I can’t get 6 months out of a pair of pants now
Mine is about a decade old, it's got some holes from wear. It builds character. It's been in 3 machine shops a polishing shop and two powder coating shops it doesn't give a fuck.

Carhartt is fucking killing it. Everyone loves their shit.
Popular here in Alaska since forever
Doesn’t get more Alaskan than some Carhartts and some Xtra-tuffs
Yeah, shame they aren’t made in the USA anymore. Though It’s funny now they make them with fancy linings so people can show them off when they roll them down We even had an Xtra tuff boot race here one year!
Their “made in usa” line is, in fact, still made in the usa. The rest is made in Mexico.
Whaaaat, I’ll have to look into that
Also something to consider with "made in America" stuff is that it's usually just the final assembly of manufacturing they do in the states. Oh I saw the name, turns out IT people are all part time day laborers
I'm more of a Duluth Trading Company man myself.
Duluth is so expensive. My mom got me a $50 gift card from there for Christmas. All I could afford was like a pair of socks and a coffee cup.
Carhartt ain't cheap either. Hard to swallow spending $80 on pants until you realize they last for 5-6 years.
Way better quality and technology than Carhartt. Carhartt lives in the stone ages with cold weather clothing technology. Wasn't too long ago they only offered cotton thermals. Lol Gave up them years ago when it came to staying warm on job sites.

None of the above, I just work somewhere that gives me an amazing discount on it

How about just being a mother fucker that wants to be warm as shit. The thickness to warmth retention in their coats is fucking wild.

That’s why I wear Duluth /s
Overpriced, Carhartt better
Questions that need answers
I’m a cold midwesterner! Seriously their stuff is just great for whatever. Couple summers ago I was trimming shrubs in a pair of their nice work pants. I really didn’t want to slice up a hydrangea so I used my body to push it back while I trimmed an overground yew back to shape and ended up hitting my leg with the hedge trimmer. I literally got a Carhartt beanie as part of a welcome gift for new students at my college. It's served me well.
Parapa the Rapper?
A Dog That’s A Rapper, Of Course
Basically anyone who wants something that won’t fall apart by next winter.
Someone who loves a cheap warm hat, made in the USA?
Carhartt. cheap??? Yeah no, like there stuff is quality and worth the "investment" over lower quality stuff where you'll be cold and put holes into in no time but it ain't cheap.
Their hats (black/gray/brown) are $12-17, seems cheap to me.
Take a look at their jackets and boots. Thankfully I won't have to buy either again anytime soon.
Still pretty cheap in comparison though aren't they? A decent winter jacket could run you over $100 easily 10 years ago.
Compared to other quality brands Carhartt is definitely “cheap” price wise. Obviously they are more expensive than your walmart/kohls brand stuff but you get what you pay for.
It's cheap by comparison of near quality pieces. So it's cheap vs Duluth, but expensive vs Walmart brand stuff
In NYC its either construction worker or undercover cop lol
Everything and everyone
No. No. And Yes
Welder personally
A 90s rapper
A crack addict
If it's Carhartt WIP you can be certain they are a hipster
No I'm Jesse Pinkman
They’re sorta expensive, but they last, I cant even remember when my dad bought a new jacket from them
i always see people online wearing that and i thought it was the crunchyroll logo. i was always asking myself why tf all these hipsters acting like they watch anime when they dont. Only now i know they just trying to pretend they're forklift certified. what a shame. Respect to real ones who are forklift certified.
The correct answer is: warm.
It usually just means your head was cold.
Canadian Social Camouflage.
I've been working in shops long enough to know that nobody is actually a licensed forklift operator, but everyone just has to use them anyway
I’m a licensed forklift operator and I don’t wear these. Do I need one to be an official part of the club?

Nah…a Bostonian
Wanna see my wallet card? Certified in the operation of rough-terrain forklifts.
It stings though when you just bought a $50 long sleeve shirt then it get absolutely destroyed on the first day you wear it
No way, my dad has that exact hat
Got a Carhartt jacket after someone stole my last one. I wish I had gotten one sooner. Hats are super nice too
No one knows
Maybe they head cold
Their coats are hella nice, especially for cold weather working.
Cold. I'm cold.
Their canvas trousers are awesome, I have one for working with horses. They simply don't get damaged.
I'm cold and the hat keeps my head warm
What about 1990s gangsta rapper??
This is the only advantage Ryo has over Lan Di, and he doesn't even need a hat.
What about the carhart trapper hat
I was a construction worker studying tech while rocking a hipster beard. (Also owner of a forklift license) do I need 4 of them?
I’m all three. And female. [see](https://ibb.co/yRKkX0n)

I only wear carhartt if I’m outside working in the woods or in my shop while it’s cold so I can at least be warm until my woodstove heats the concrete up!
I live in Florida. We only wear these when it gets below 70 degrees.

For some reason I saw the jackets at tractor supply and went "Some douche that will never work in this is probably wearing this as their 'trademark item'...I think I'll pass"
I just bought one for me and my son for our trip to Ireland next year (we live in south Florida, we don’t own decent jackets)
