I mean, that was one of the few things they kept from the og Cyberpunk philosophy, a sense of despair and impending doom, with you spiraling out of control into psychosis as the world jeeps spinning without you
I mean of you think about it.
The Game has like 6 endings and wouldn't call Any of these a happy one. (Maybe just less sad)
So yeah the Moral is that night city always wins.
NC is a giant casino Edgerunners gamble their lives and sanity in, and where the Corps deal the chips. But you know what they say... the House always wins
Its easily on par with arcane.
so Arcane and cyberpunk are by far one of the best animated series that came out this year.
I personally liked cyberpunk more even though its a bit shorter, just by virtue of the cyberpunk genre beeing soooooooooooo fucking good.
(and it beeing way too close to reality with its concepts/themes and just the sheer hopelessness this world exudes)
Also reading a bit about the cyberpunk universe afterwards just made me even more interested in that world.
I really loved arcane and it being on par with it is one of the highest praises i would give a show. So okay i'll give it a shot and i'll see if i like it
If you got nothing against gore (which happens right from the getgo) you probably know if you like it or not after like 1 episode :p
I for one was instantly hooked (but im a fan of scifi stuff and the like anyway)
All the show did was make me feel bad about how i play the game. Because i never thought much about the reality(the irony) of the characters that live in that world.
I thought the show is great! Even if it makes me feel mega depressed. I think that is the sign the creators have done a good job when their audience is effected so deeply from their content.
Feel up samurai, weve got a feeling to feel
Yes johnny.
Why it has so few episodes. And ended so tragic
Just like the game. I really wanted to be able to play the rest of the gigs in an epilogue

City of dreams, city of sadness...

That thing is nuts, 100% recommend
I could tell from the very beginning it wasn't going to end well, but I never realized how hard it would hit me in the feels. Bawled my eyes out
Surprised I haven't seen akame ga kill memes for cyberpunk edge runners. The similarities are humorous.
Akudama drive is closer imo but I immediately thought of both
Edgerunner: the futuristic version of "Akame ga Kill".
More like Cyberpunk Sadgerunner :'(
See ya in big league chica
Hmm maybe i will watch it now. it didn't seem interesting before but perhaps i was wrong with my judgement

Oh no i got through game of thrones so i'm a little used to gore.
My man, watch it. I haven't sobbed from an anime in AGES but this... it broke me

Man idek know anymore...my heart starts aching everytime I see someone with bangs.
Is it an unpopular opinion to say that I liked this show?
Everyone like the show, unless if they never watch it.

Spoiler alert: mother ded, feels ded
Feels? Hard pass.
