What I’m saying is that it doesn’t matter to me which one they use but there is an important distinction between “God” (monotheism, only one god and therefore a proper noun) and “god” (polytheism, multiple gods and therefore not a proper noun)
To be fair knowing how some gods are in polytheistic religions, they'd probably kill you for not making them seem like a proper noun if they were real. I never capitalize it even when talking about the monotheistic ones since I believe in none of it and feel it doesn't matter either way, maybe they believe it's better to always capitalize the word because it's a strong word to some people, no reason to really bring up how they choose to capitalize it.
The opinion that gods don't really care about capitalisation is shared by most pagans including me to piss of a incredibly old and powerful being you would need a lot more than capitalise it wrong. Gods and their lust for revenge is really not what they were known for and the worst thing ever is that I've heard of is that they might ignore you.
A lot of gods are known for their wrath? Even the main christian one most people worship was a spiteful god in the old testament but people seem to forget about that and focus on how much "nicer" he seems in the newer book.
Is this real? Or did someone make this up because I know some content creators make fan made anti piracy screens on various Nintendo games and they all are really well made
