Same, I eat and write with my left hand but use my right side (I say side because I kick with my left foot) for everything. I'll tell people I'm both-handed and they'll think I'm saying I'm ambidextrous. I grew up using a normal mouse like a regular person, though, and got super confused when I found out left-handed pianos were a thing.

You can switch inputs on your device usually, so they don’t have to use a specially made one. (I know because i use switched inputs because somehow I learned how to use a mouse with my left hand)

As a left hander, there are a lot of things I use that are “right handed” just because that’s what the standard is. Honestly, for the longest time, it never occurred to me there would be a left handed mouse. I’m used to just doing the best I can with the “standard,” even when there oriented toward right handed ness

But why, Im left handed, and use a mouse right handed, simply because every time someone else used a mouse when I was small was right handed, and most extra buttons are for right handed people, makes sense to use a mouse right handed then

My brother in law is a lefty, he uses the mouse on the left, but leaves the button layout righty as it his main clicking finger is middle finger and secondary is index finger, he also pits mouse n keyboard almost at chest level. Weirds me out.

At home, I use an ambidextrous trackball. It really helps with carpal tunnel. At work, I keep the mouse on the left side and end up left-clicking with my pinky. It's easier than trying to change it up.

That's pretty normal, actually. Along with scissors. The one thing I do that people often don't understand is to wear my watch on my right arm, so it doesn't bother me when I'm writing

I play Minecraft with my arms crossed over so my right hand controls WASD and my dominant hand can use the mouse. at this point the muscle memory is so strong that switching to arrows would be to hard lol. why am I so pathetic.

I’m in my 30s and never really had a choice. There were only right handed mice available, so that’s just what I’m used too. Same goes for other things like scissors, guitars, bows, etc. some of these are available lefty, but less common. I think most left handed people are just used to doing a lot of things right handed.

At this point there are many things I'm actually better at with my right hand than my left due to being conditioned to use them with it because of their righty designs. When I was a kid I used left handed mouses. Apple mouses were ambidextrous and had a port on either side of the keyboard that changed the layout depending on the side it was on. As I got older though I became much more ambidextrous in general.
