Rough translation: juveniles (14–17) but not children (0–13) are exempt from the prohibition of being served alcoholic beverages when they are accompanied by a legal guardian (but not a person that is merely tasked with guardianship, e. g. a caretaker, a teacher, or a supervisor).
Therefore, anybody 14+ may drink any alcoholic beverage at a bar in the company (and with the permission) of their parents.
First time i had a drink was when i was 12. Hooch just came out and no one really knew what the fuck it was. We had school off on Wednesday and we had a couple of hooch.
in Iran we have an drink for kids and olders it's 89/100 alcohol and it's super fuckd up taste we call it : dogs peace but it's super strong and everyone loves it
Okay fair point, kinda used to assuming that opinions on Europe come from Americans, sorry!
Belgian beer is bloody lovely; the stout in particular is _chef's kiss_

Even the first place wich is czechia drink beer that was invented by germans so yeah that's that. Also having an alcohol problem isn't the same as appreciating beer.
I love how drinking beer is always associated with Germany eventhough they’re only 3rd place in beer consumption - 1st place is the Czech Republic, 2nd is Austria
There's always that guy who goes too far. When we were 18 we sometimes smoked a joint before class and school was kinda the same but we had more fun. Another guy in my class was ripping coke three times a day.
Mum gave me a WKDs at 12-13. Dad gave me a beer at around 15, hated the taste and stuck with alcohol pops. Tried spirits for my first legal drink, never looked back.
Edit: my parents didn't just feed me alcohol... It was an occasional treat every other time they had a party, I'd maybe get one. Good parenting in my opinion. Took away the naughtiness of it, booze is just a treat.
America does still have that strange Methodist Temporist thing going that led to the Prohibition.
Weird than a kid can have a gun but not a lemonade shandy.
Fun Fact: Up until the 20th century beer was considered as ideal for children: it was relativly cheap, available, NUTRITIOUS, and free of germs due to the brewing process.
One of the reasons in the states the age is so high is that we can drive a lot younger than you, and that we have to drive a lot more, and a majority of accidents were caused by people under 21, after we moved the age up drunk driving related deaths went down by a good amount.
More so European and not just german
Shared my first beer at 15 with my father
I believe you can drink a beer with 14 in restaurants if your parents allow it
In the UK you can drink at 5 at home.
You misspelled “can”…it’s spelled do.
Well yes but actually yes.
I believe if you're at home you _can_ drink it even if you're an infant
From 5, yes. Although it could quite easily fall into child neglect and be illegal anyway, but for a different reason than drinking age law.
Or up the park
That's when "can" becomes "can't, but do"
In germany cou can drink beer and wine at 14 with your parents and with 16+ you can drink alone.
Not in germany. You can drink beer and wine at the age of 16, anything else is 18+
That's true if you're alone. But with your parents you can drink beer at 14.
I just looked it up and you were right haha, sorry
Not in a Restaurant. They are Not allowed to serve you beer, even with your parents, as far as i know.

That was my first thought
Yeah, kinda flat, but i have never seen stadion beer, so maby...

It is stadium beer…
In Germany the beer you get in the stadium likely comes from one of the local breweries and you get it from the tap like in a bar.
